The hotel was very dirty. When checking out, I politely addressed my concern to front desk. I received NO response. She just gave me a nasty look. Also.... when booking the charge was $110. Upon completion charge was $190.
I preferred La Quinta around Orange, TX, which is 3-star rating and $40 cheaper per night. However one colleague preferred Hampton Inn and it was OK with me since I didn't have to pay the bill. If it was a personal trip, I would choose La Quinta. I enjoyed the gym, pool, hot tub and free breakfast. I didn't like the soap on the shower handle before I used it. It was a little bit noisy to me since It is next to I-10.
Everyone is so nice. The room was excellent. They have a huge bath tub, frig, micowave, coffee maker, big TV, and the beds were like laying on clouds. I was in and on Heaven on earth. Last but not least, breakfast - they had an awesome spread. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone!!! And, I will be staying there every time I stay in that area. For me, there is no better place to stay.
