The Waterfront Beach Resort, A Hilton Hotel

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the pier. And for being a more expensive hotel, it was affordable compared to other high end hotels in the area. We even splurged for the ocean view room and it was worth it! However, the surprise came when we arrived for check in and discovered they charge $36/day for valet-only parking. I usually look for parking costs when I'm comparing hotel costs, so for that not to have been on my radar means hotel was hiding this charge. We were very upset for our vacation to be $180 over budget, plus all the tips. If we had realized, we would not have chosen this hotel. If cost is not an issue and you don't mind being forced to pay for someone to park your car for you, then this is otherwise a very nice place to stay.

Our one night stay was relaxing and enjoyable. Staff was very helpful and kind. The lobby was under construction but facility was nicely decorated.

This is the first time staying at the Waterfront Hilton in Huntington Beach. CA. We are already planning our next trip and to stay here. Everything was top of the line and just met all of our needs. They are expanding and that will only add to the great experience to be had at the hotel. We recommend this hotel to others as it is a 5 Star across the board.

outstanding location. very relaxing environment. would strongly recommend.

Great location, clean, friendly staff. Would definitely be back. Pool was warm, hottub was great upon the rainy/misting day we had.

A very nice hotel ocean front. Nice view of the beach and palm trees.

Had a great time in Huntington while staying overnight at the Hilton waterfront resort. Anthony got us checked in quickly and really made us feel welcomed and taken care of. He went above and beyond to give us the best while visiting. Thank you Anthony!!

Good service and great people, thanks for the experience

This hotel is located in the best spot of Huntington Beach. Lots of restaurants and shopping places with a fantastic view of the ocean

Can't beat the view and surrounding entertainment. Shopping all around.

Nice hotel with just about everything you need. Wish it was a little closer to Main Street. Wish it had more restaurant and bar options. Otherwise a great place for a family or adults to stay in Huntington Beach.

The hotel was very nice and clean. Staff was awesome and helpful. Let us use their personal Iphone charger since our car charger broke.. Only down side is there for the price of the room, they should have free wi-fi!!!! So disappointing that a chain like Hilton would not have this amenity.

Very Positive. The staff was overall excellent. The only bummer was that the only parking available is valet, which is expensive...but overall it was a great stay.

The Hilton was a great hotel to stay at. Beautiful pool, nice rooms with a view, and very friendly staff. The only issue I have is that for a 4 star hotel there is not a fan in the bathroom. Otherwise, nice and relaxing.

My husband and I had a great time even though we live in CDM. Just to get away from the kids, we ate at Dukes, dessert at Zimzala near the pier. The views are great and I enjoyed this as much as the Ritz Carlton in Dana Point.

X-mas buffet was $75 per person. Huntington Beach itself stunk of burning garbage or some kind of burning. Both my husband and I had a low-grade headache the whole time there. VERY EXPENSIVE food and drinks with high added gratuity. I don't mind paying if it is worth it but this place is not. In addition, it is intensely crowded with nowhere to park. Skip it, it's a nuisance and a headache to get around.

the rooms were crowded & old. the bed was not comfortable.

Very good trip overall. Easy check-in and check-out. The rooms are very comfortable and have a great view of the beach. But most importantly the bed was awesome. I would definitely stay again.

The food was amazing, you can't beat the location and the staff was helpful and friendly. You can't ask for much more.

This hotel is beautiful and the rooms are nicely appointed, but nothing spectacular. Definitely feel like you are paying for the location and proximity to the beach. The bathtub drain worked so poorly it was like taking a bath and shower at the same time and the drain in the bathroom sink was not much better. They did attempt to fix it but was only marginally better - perhaps they have problems with clogging from the inevitable sand in the drains. Breakfast at the cafe restaurant was good, the usual buffet assortment, without an omelet station. Pool has no slide or feature for kids, unlike their next door neighbor (which was unfortunately booked solid).
