Have almost always stayed at red roof inn be it in San Antonio & Laredo tx as well as in Santa Ana california would highly recommend to friends and family

I stayed here with my boyfriend for a Disney trip. Very nice hotel. It was very clean and had a microwave and mini fridge which was convenient. The hotel was walking distance to a mall that had lots of restaurants that were open late and across the street was a market, a coffee bean, three different banks and more restaurants. It was somewhat close to Disney, about 15 minutes on the freeway away but it wasn't bad at all for us. I would stay again and I recommend red roof Santa Ana. I was really impressed with the area and the hotel. It exceeded my expectations.

Erika (Assistant Manager), is very friendly and helpful. She made my stay very comfortable and easy. The staff is very accommodating and I would like to come back again. I would highly recommend this hotel and Erica has shown such great positive energy towards her customer service.

Nice Hotel very clean ,I was very satisfied with the service of the hotel staff.

Hotel is Pet Friendly. I like the location next to the Mall. The only problem was not being able to extend my stay. I got a call from my job last minute, and was getting ready to call the office when the house phone rang. The office calling, so I immediately asked to extend my stay, she told me NO, THE ROOM WAS ALREADY RENTED OUT AND I COULDNT CONTINUE MY STAY BECAUSE I DIDNT TALK TO THEM EARLIER, MIND YOU IT WAS 1:05 PM WHEN SHE CALLED ME.

It's ok but could be better. Carpet need , Air Conditioning , Doors, Window, TV , Bathroom need new replacement of remodel.

We decided to stay at Red Roof Inn because the ratings were good for such a low priced hotel but as we entered our room it was very cold, the hallway and room smelled of smoke. Not happy about residents that live there up at all hours of the night. Very unhappy since I had my younger brothers with me. Major infestation of cockroaches, had to keep all of our things in the car and very very uncomfortable!!

I stayed at this hotel while in OC on business. The location was very convenient being right next to the I5 Fwy. & close to the 22 Fwy. I was surprised that I heard little to no traffic noise from the adjacent 5 Fwy. I did, however, experience late night noise problems with some of the guests there. The management did their best to take care of the problem, but it occurred both nights of my stay and continued intermittently for several hours.

The best part of property is Polly's Pies and the closeness to the mall. Stayed here two years ago but you can see how things are old and worn down.

I stayed at the Red Roof Santa Ana for a week long training program. The motel was idealy located for what I needed, and everything about it was very satisfactory.

Staffs [...] were very helpful and went out of their way to make my stay comfortable.

I had to wait at the desk for 6 minutes for the clerk to finish her personal call. Hotel rooms had a musty/urine type smell to the room. I'm so glad I wasn't traveling with my kids, as the people in the room next door to me were partying until 4:30 am, and after several calls to the management, nothing was done about it. I also asked for a roll away bed that never arrived. The bright spot was the restaurant on property, marvelous food!

We booked this hotel for Blizzcon convetion. Service of Check in and out was fast. Housekeeping services were excelent. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Quality of the hotel room was accurate to the price we paid - Clean and comfortable. Location - public transportation very close and cheap - about 20 minuts ride to all the fun centers.

We stayed at this hotel for a Disney trip. Disney was about a 10 minute drive away. I choose this hotel because they would accommodate our car with a small trailer. Room was nice, and even included a kitchenette. The only problem we had was the fridge did not seem to cool very well. Also, I wish that they sold Disney tickets.

I had no problems and the price was right. Location is great and there is plenty close by. My room was clean and spacious.

HONESTLY SAYING, THIS HOTEL TO ME I WOULD NOT HAVE STAYED AT EVEN IF IT WERE OFFERED TO ME FOR FREE. FIRST OFF, I WAS TOLD I HAD A HANDICAP ROOM. SECOND, IT APPEARS A LOT OF PEOPLE ACTUALLY LIVE AT THIS HOTEL GIVING ME THE IMPRESSION THAT IT HOUSES HOMELESS PEOPLE. IT FELT AND LOOKED UNSAFE, BUT I GUESS YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. NEVER AGAIN!!

Very comfortable, neat, well maintained, room not that spaceous but was worth the money for last mintue trip. Loved the coffee machine in lobby, plus! Location was great near beach and attractions and mall, banks, etc. Beds were exquisit...loved the pillowtop mattress'!

We rolled into town at 1 a.m., and the young man who checked us in was very nice (from behind the bullet-proof glass). The shower seemed to chronically leak onto the carpet, so there were these damp, moldly spots. Mind you, it was the middle of the night, so instead of asking for a different room, we decided to suck it up and try to get some shut-eye. The non-smoking room had a dank, musty odor, so we had to keep the window open for fresh air. This turned out to be a bummer, because the parking lot of this hotel was just hopping with activity all throughout the night; hardly got a wink of sleep. Had the room not stunk so badly, we could've shut the window and run the AC, and it probably would've been fine. When I pull into a place, I need to be assured that a shower and a clean, quiet room is waiting for me, no weird stuff.

We checked in late, around 11:30pm, after a long day at Disneyland. Husband and children were sleeping in the car when I check us in through what appeared to be a bullet proof glass window, similar to a drive up bank teller window. Directions were not made clear about how to get to the room we were assigned to. The parking lot was dark and the buildings were not well marked. The windows of the rooms that faced the parking stalls looked like they had either been broken into or attempted break ins had occurred. I am not a paranoid traveler, but did not feel safe for myself or my children at this location. I was tempted to waste the money I had spent and seek another location. However, the rate with tax was still pretty high (~$70), so we stayed. The rooms were neat, but the carpet was filthy and the bathtub slimy. I would not encourage anyone to stay here.

This hotel is located in town. The freeways are close by. You can get to any attractions in less than 30 minutes. There is a great eating place named "Polly's Bakery" right next door. Good food, good prices.
