Ramada Costa Mesa/Newport Beach

Stayed 1 night and got bitten everywhere, even on the face! Contacted Ross the manager the following day and he acted like he was completely unaware of this problem existing. After researching this particular hotel, I found that there are actually 7 reported cases. Completely disgusting and unacceptable that they are not taking this matter seriously.

The Ramada offers the best value for Costa Mesa area. Close to Newport Beach for surfing and beach walks,

Checked into the hotel, went into our room and it was right next door to the laundry room. Asked to switch, and they did.. however we didn't know you could bring your pets into this hotel. The dog next door wouldn't stop barking. If there gonna allow people with animals, make them all be in rooms near each other, and not near people who just want to get some sleep after a long day.

Just what we needed at a good price and excellent location

Love the location and close to everything you need, and reasonable rates for the area

Very good room. Close to beach, which is why we were in town, will stay again.

Room was great but my daughter got food poisoning. Spent half the day in the emergency room. Really ruined whole trip. The staff did not care when I reported it and would not even take the meal off the bill.

There is a restaurant and bar but no menus in room. I walked down to restaurant to get menu and they wouldn't let me take back to room. They only had 10 for restaurant.

The location was great which is why we picked the hotel. But when we got to the room, the window was open which made us nervous. Once we entered the room we realized the window was open to air out the weird smell in the room. Trying to get some sleep was impossible. You can hear EVERYTHING around your room. If people were walking outside, it sounded like they were stomping around (we checked everyone was walking normally). People were knocking on a door around us and it sounded like they were banging on our door (we checked nobody was outside the door). And I thought we were the only ones not getting any sleep until a heard a man yelling "I just want to get some sleep!" I fell asleep feeling nervous and woke up constantly during the night.

I stayed in the same hotel last year it was ok but this time have a bad experience. My wife and I have some kind of insects bites all over our hands and legs. They gave us a different room but the manager never ever went to see us. All he did was call and tell us that they inspected the room and it was free of insects. Thanks.

VERY NICE and CLEAN HOTEL front desk personal very friendly and nice despite we had a issue with our bath tub and sink being clogged but they sent the maintance guy right away. Overall great hotel

The hotel is well maintained for its age but inside of rooms need some updating. Beds are great though and clean.

Wasn't happy when cleaning person came into my room without knocking or warning us. Will not be coming back to a Ramada anytime soon.

Hotel was clean and outside was very neat. Cleaning staff was very nice, but needed to call front desk for towels twice and one day the was not cleaned. We did leave the room late that day. Parking was a problem, could use a few more spaces. The restaurant had a great breakfast and a very nice staff. The one thing the hotel should do is change the in room coffee maker, not very clean and we never use it. All in all not a bad spot for the money.

Not the best sound insulation. Had an adjoining door which made for poor sound insulation between rooms. If you are unfortunate to be stuck on the ground floor you will hear footsteps all night long. Very minimal comforter made for a cold night's rest. Should have figured out the termistat before climbing in bed.

Overall it was a good experience except for the first day.Our room wasn't ready for check in until 4pm.They gave us a 1 hr.extension on our check out time which was thoughtfull.I believe there were some guests renting there on a monthly basis which seemed a little odd to me.Close to shops, restaurants and roads leading to nearby beach areas.I would recommend it to my single friends.

It is definitely not a three-star hotel. But because it was cheap, so it was worth the money. Everything is old. The AC was noisy (but at least worked) the door and window leaked light. The bedsheets looked unclean (probably due to aging not because of improper cleaning). But the beds were reasonably comfortable. The parking was convenient. Overall, it provided a good rest for me during a business trip.

The hotel was just what I needed. Was very clean and well maintain.

Hotel was exactly what I needed. Great place to crash for a night while in the area for work.
