Room is not clean. Light was broken . The room was dark.

i was a little nervous about some of the reviews that i read about this place...from the moment i checked in, i felt very comfortable staying here. i didn't notice any shady people, "drug addicts, or prostitutes" as i had seen in other reviews, all the staff was very friendly to me or anyone they interacted with. overall i'm very satisfied with my stay and the Ramada in Costa Mesa in general!

Comfortable hotel located within a few yards from shops, airport and beach

Nice hotel and good pricing but there is no water for guests in the room.

Good stay a lot of restaurants in walking distance and it’s close to the beach

Room very comfy. Loved the black out blinds. Over all was clean as well.

Older property but room was nice and bed was comfortable. One complaint, the ONLY ice machine is next to the pool in the parking lot.

Disappointed, they gave me a Handicap room. The manager said that is what ORBITZ ordered. My O paperwork says King bed, no smoking, 2 adults. That's all. Manager is wrong. The TV cable kept going to no service. Frustrating when your watching a show. The handicap clothes hanger is at 4 feet and they installed the safe at 2 feet directly below. Pants and shirts do not fit in the remaining space. Obviously no one cares if your clothes are wrinkled. The manager did not understand this.

Nice and relaxing. although it was close to the freeway it was quiet at night.

Nice clean, place. We stayed there while attending a wedding in Newport Beach. We did not use the amenities offered so I can't comment on that. My only negative comment is that when the hotel was not full, we were put in a room directly across from the stairs & elevator ( in an outdoor access hotel) I am sure that had we asked we could have moved, but why put someone in that room to begin with ???

It needs to updated. The carpet and the walls were dirty. When I leaned up against the counter to do my make up my pants turned brown. A man fell and was seriously injured outside my room on stairs that needed to be repaired. The whole incident could have been avoided if the hotel was maintained better.

It's not the Ritz Carlton but comfortable and not badly priced. Will be going back.

Stayed 1 night and got bitten everywhere, even on the face! Contacted Ross the manager the following day and he acted like he was completely unaware of this problem existing. After researching this particular hotel, I found that there are actually 7 reported cases. Completely disgusting and unacceptable that they are not taking this matter seriously.

The Ramada offers the best value for Costa Mesa area. Close to Newport Beach for surfing and beach walks,

Checked into the hotel, went into our room and it was right next door to the laundry room. Asked to switch, and they did.. however we didn't know you could bring your pets into this hotel. The dog next door wouldn't stop barking. If there gonna allow people with animals, make them all be in rooms near each other, and not near people who just want to get some sleep after a long day.

Just what we needed at a good price and excellent location

Very good room. Close to beach, which is why we were in town, will stay again.

Room was great but my daughter got food poisoning. Spent half the day in the emergency room. Really ruined whole trip. The staff did not care when I reported it and would not even take the meal off the bill.

There is a restaurant and bar but no menus in room. I walked down to restaurant to get menu and they wouldn't let me take back to room. They only had 10 for restaurant.

Hi Jim, I'm so sorry that there was confusion or miscommunication when you made your reservation with Orbitz. Hotel room assignments are determined at check-in and are (subject to availability) as it states in the terms and agreements section that you acknowledged when you booked your reservation. The room type you book is subject to availability and can change at any time if we become sold out of standard single king rooms. We tried to keep you in a room that had a single king but just so happened to be an ADA room. The clothes hanger and safe are installed at that height to be compliant with CA state ADA requirements. As for the T.V. loosing its signal, I am so sorry about that. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we will address the matter with our maintenance and cable company. I hope that in the future you will allow us to give you another chance to accommodate you.
