Very nice pool area. Very pleasant people working at front desk! Great location with freeway, restaurants and bar nearby. Nice landscaping. Would stay there again.

Great clean hotel. Within a 15 minute drive to the beach!

Nice location. Friendly staff. Rooms a little dated but clean.

The hotel is old. It's actually more like a two-story motel not a hotel. It looks old and smells old. There is no elevator to the second floor. They put me on the second floor without asking me if it was okay. They didn't offer to have someone carry my luggage upstarts. I hurt my shoulder lifting my luggage up the pebble covered steps. The breakfast was nothing great and nothing for someone gluten free except oatmeal.

We decided to stay here because of th location right across from the mall. No, not for shopping, but we ran the LH Memorial Day Half Marathon and wanted a place close by. Well, little did we know, it's right across the street. We were able to walk to and from the race! Don't let the outside fool you. It looks old and weathered. The rooms are awesome! Very spacious and clean, and we had a Cal King bed! Very happy with our stay! Can't comment on the free breakfast because our race started very early and we had to miss the breakfast

Check in was straight forward. The grounds were clean.

As soon as I got out of the car to go check in I was greeted with the scent of the lovely flowers surrounding the buildings of Laguna Hills Lodge. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. It was nice having a microwave and a mini fridge with freezer in the room. Hotel is conveniently located close to major highways, restaurants and shopping. Breakfast is included and offers limited options, unfortunately coffee is terrible, however, Starbucks is within walking distance. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. This is our second stay at this hotel.

All over a good experience. Beautiful gardens. Free Continental breakfast is helpful. Staff nice & accommodating.only complaint is they need to add an elevator to all buildings.

We stayed two nights with 2 service dogs. Our room had 2 queen beds, one for the dogs and one for us. The downside was that the hotel property didn't have any areas conducive for the dogs to "do their business" but there was some grassy areas across the parking lot in the County offices parking lot, so it was ok. The breakfast offerings are quite varied, nothing hot though except instant oatmeal, but several cereals, pastries, breads, yogurts, juices, hardboiled eggs, coffee, etc. There were a few restaurants within walking distance, BJs Brewpub is one I remember. All in all a decent stay for a decent price.

They had a plumbing problem and few hours I did not have running water, then next day they were working with the same issues on the second floor in very early morning with lots of noise

Excellent stay everything great, I wish there was a piece or two of bacon or sausage with breakfast Maybe a waffle or pancakes as well. the Bed mattresses aperently are new which were a bit too stiff but all in all I Will definitely stay here again.

We found Laguna Hills Lodge to be the perfect place since it was convenient to all the places we were going. The room was clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet. The location was easy to get in and out of. The staff was helpful and friendly. A great place to stay.

This is my second visit to this hotel. It is near my friend's home. It is well priced and a friendly, hospitable place. The staff is friendly and helpful. This time there was construction underway with updating of some rooms and driveways. Signage was excellent about how to get around. I plan to use this hotel again when I visit the area.

We have used this hotel several times as it is convenient to family and attractions. On our recent stay we experienced construction noise and minor inconvenience.

Good hotel for the money. Will recommend to others.

Great location, but building C too close to fire station. Great breakfast!

Great breakfast .... and candy at check-in and check-out. Nice touch!

No weird smells. No pets (probably related). Nice hotel. Decent continental breakfast.

Good hotel with spacious rooms. Don't think they've changed the decor since the 70's but they make it work with quality amenities in the room. Great staff, free breakfast too...good spot.

The hotel staff presented us with a bottle of French brandy, a very kind gift. Beautiful grounds!!!!

Thanks for your feedback and for taking the time to write a four star review on our hotel. You are right, BJs is across El Toro Road from the Lodge. I would like to add there is also a Kings Fish House and a Ruby'sthat many of our guests enjoy too. Thank you for your business!

We apologize for the plumbing problem you experienced. We worked hard to fix this problem with the minimum of noise and inconvenience. The good news here is that we are blessed with a maintenane team that has been with us for over thirty years so they do fix things very quickly. May we suggest that if a problem is disruptive that you talk with our Front Desk and they will be happy to locate you to a different room. Again we are very sorry that you were inconvenienced!
