The hotel is at a great location. The beach is right off the hotel, there's great places to go eat and shop. The hotel has entertainment so is a plus. However, it was a little noisy because of the live entertainment. That was a good/bad if look if looking for a place to relax. I would consider staying again because of the location.

we have tried other places but we always come back to La Casa. We love to read the newspaper on the rooftop and really enjoyed the food we had for lunch.

How can they charge $250.00 for these kind of accomodations outrageously expensive. The room was very small the carpet was stained the air-conditioned was very noisy the phone did not work. Very disapointed. Thay need to remodel the rooms to be able to charge this kind of money.

We love this place. Great history. Go online to learn about it. (1929 room rates were $3.00 a night) The staff is terrific, as is the location. Great rooftop bar/restaurant with a beautiful view of the ocean. That being said, there is deferred maintenance that is needed. The carpeting in our room was in terrible shape and the hallways weren't much better. Our TV didn't work properly. We will stay again, and hopefully the issues will be remedied.

Location good Needs a major remodel Room too cramped Air conditioner too loud Sink stuck in corner of room Bathroom too small

My favorite Hotel lobby ever, wonderful staff, fabulous location.

Lovely staff! Prime location! Tight parking lot across the street but super helpful employee working the lot that helped me both getting in and out!

Staff was amazing as well as the food and cocktails. Great location for the beach or shopping.

Room was extremely small...but it was for 1 night so we managed. Breakfast was decent...the parking was great.

I wanted to stay close to the beach for our honeymoon night. The room we stayed in was very small, as soon as we walked in there was a bunch of mosquitos so we started killing them one by one. We thought we caught them all but my husband woke up with 2 bites. For the price this place is so not worth it. Although they did bring us complimentary champagne I would never go back to this place.

Rooms are super small but very clean. Location is on walking distance to restaurants, bars and beach. Hotel provides lounge chairs and towels fro the beach.

Locations is good. Walk to the beach, few restaurants and bars. Rooms are tiny, but very clean.

The hotel is in a great location. This was our second time staying at this hotel. We were on the first floor because of our dog. The hotel was very pet friendly. They have a rooftop happy hour, which our dog was allowed to be. The staff was very friendly. The parking lot is up the street, but close. We were able to check in early, which was nice. There is a free trolley available, but we couldn't use it because they do not allow pets. Overall, I like this hotel and will definitely be staying here again.

My husband and I loved this place!!! It was so cute, perfect for a couple's getaway!!! We can not wait to go back

Had the best time! Can't wait to return. Did not experience any of the issues that I read in the other reviews.

Upon arrival we were upgraded to the riviera suite for our 3 yr anniversary with a bottle of champagne, wow! Staff was wonderful along with complimentary breakfast and what more could you want with a roof top bar. Excited to have the ocean and down town Laguna walking distance- can't wait to be back xoxo

My husband and I stayed at this hotel on 10/17/15. It was too much for us. The Roof Top restaurant is a mess! you cannot make reservations prior. It's a first come, first serve kind of thing, very un-organized. They should have a hostess. No pool/jacuzzi. Beach view? the hotel is behind a bunch of vacation rentals units. No balconies. There is night life at the lobby, but too crowded for us. You can request song and this guy is pretty good. I would not stay at this hotel again, I just believe that with the money we paid, there are better. This is great for night life people to have fun. Lots of drink, expensive, but good. The guy at the reception area was very nice Mooba?, very polite and informative.

Had a awesome time in Laguna Beach. Staff was great from the moment we arrived at front desk. Loved the lobby bar happy hour and rooftop bar. Nice breakfast which was included with stay and the beach chairs with umbrellas that the staff would set up for guest at beach next to property. Will definitely stay again!

the hotel was great. the main thing was the staff. they were fantastic. rooftop bar is amazing. easy walk to the beach.

We stayed in a room near the emergency exit which was strangely open all night. The dark yellow walls gave the room a rustic/antique appearance, but really just made us uncomfortable and reminded us of a haunted house.
