The hotel is in a great spot if you are visiting Disneyland resorts. Plenty of parking and a great rate if you are not looking to spend $300 plus at Disney’s hotels. It’s a little dated and carpets need changing but rooms are large and clean enough since we didn’t spend much time there but for sleeping.

Face painting was a really nice touch! My kids loved it and everyone was very friendly. Also nice to be able to do laundry whenever we need to. The water park was also a really nice benefit. The hotel is pretty run down but I can see one building is getting renovated so I hope that will spread to all of the buildings. I was not happy to pay a extra cot fee. The room was sold to me saying that it was suitable for 3 kids and they asked their ages. I don’t think a cot should be extra. I had a friend staying at the Hyatt and she had more beds than we did and paid less not to mention she got a free very good breakfast daily. little things like that would do wonders for the travelers experience.

The hotel was great! The room was really spacious, my 5 year old daughter loved the water play area. The staff and other guests were really nice! The room is a little out of date as far as decor but it's kept really clean with new coffee machine and tv. The best part is it's a close 8 minute walk (timed with stroller) to Disneyland! We also stayed at the Marriot with waterpark next door. It's a newer more upgraded version of this hotel but probably not worth double the price when you're not in the room much. Our view of fireworks and park was better at HJ

We stayed here with 1 6 year old child the night before going to Disney. Pros Great location, easy walk to the park kid loved the water slide room was large, bed pretty comfy price was good Cons As are some of the hotels right near the park, this was an older property. Our room looked older, and my husband and daughter thought it smelled terrible. I think it just smelled old, like I remember my great grandparents house smelling. Bathroom was old and small. It was clean, but only as clean as something that old can look, if that makes sense. Overall, the price was good but I would probably book a different property if I had to do it again.

I had a reservation through orbitz, guy name KELVIN at costumer service told me that I didn't have a reservation and I told him that I had my confirmation number and he said, Well, you have to contact orbitz and figure what is the issue, so I told him to let me talk to his manager, his manager never came. It seems that he was making a mistake on the computer so he figured out, but after all, it was a bad experience.

Very convenient hotel for a visit to the happiest place on earth! Rooms were clean, beds comfy and the staff friendly. We used the big pool and not the water park as our kids are older. It was great to hit the pool at the end of a long hot day. We would stay here again for sure.

Nice hotel and friendly staffs! My kids love the water pool/slights! Quiet and clean

Very pleased with our stay at the HoJo, but disappointed that the WiFi was weak and unusable most of the time and that the room didn't have a microwave as promised.

The hotel is close to Disneyland, but I wouldn't want to walk back-and-forth multiple times during the day. The bathroom needed a little tile repair. Beds were comfortable and air conditioning was good. The staff was helpful and friendly. We didn't use the pool or waterpark, but our friends did in their kids loved it

The staff was a great help for every question we had. The room was clean. The pool and splash area was great for the kids. Only problem was the wifi. You can connect and get a great signal but it won't let you do anything surf the net. No games would play and nothing would update. But it is the only thing I could knock on the this hotel.

I honestly loved my stay here, the only thing i have to say is I wish I could've stayed longer! It's honestly not true about not being able to check in early, my check in time was at 4 pm but I was able to check in at 1. As long as the room is available your good & we checked out later w/ no extra fees. The pool/slides were great! I will definitely be coming back.

Nice place close to Disney. Definitely not a luxury hotel but very spacious and clean rooms walking distance to Disney. I would stay here again! Nice and quiet at night. My son loved the little water park.

The room is pretty basic, and the pool is incredibly crowded. However, for the proximity to the parks, the price is great and fits the need of a place to sleep in between touring the parks.

We booked and paid for 4 nights but only stayed 2 because it was so loud..we thought the family above us was going to come through the ceiling

Easy check in. very large room, and very quiet inside. Not too far from the convention center, so an easy walk in the morning,

The hotel was nice, it was within walking distance of the park. Two-room suite, one w/ King bed, the other with a bunk bed and pull-out couch, each with its own bathroom. Staff was friendly. However, discovered that 2nd car requires $20/night (plus taxes) parking fee, and that the free parking only lasts until 3pm. Thus, we had to pay for parking for the 2nd day we were there as well as we weren't leaving the park until that evening. So we ended up paying over $60 in parking for a one-night stay (2 cars, $40 for one, $20 for the other, plus taxes). And, they wouldn't let us keep our cars because next night was booked, so actually had to move cars to hotel next door and paid the 2nd night's parking there. Didn't tell us that in the morning so when we called to extend the parking, we had to go back to the hotel to move the cars.

This is the second time we have stayed here, the hotel is great and it is right next to Mimi's restaurant which has incredible family food at great prices! We rexommend this hotel to anyone we know that mentions they are going to Disneyland

We stayed two nights during our trip to Disney, and all the kids talked about was going back to the hotel- even while at Disney! They loved the pirate themed water play area. It was perfect for them (ages 3.5 and 5).

Stayed for 3 Nights and took our kids to Disneyland. Mainly ended up sleeping there or taking mid day disney break in the pool/water park before hitting the park back up. What a great location call it 5 minute walk to Main Entrance. It was great to hit the park early (30 min before opening) and come back to enjoy pool/rest 1-3ish then back for evening events. The proximity to the park made this very easy. Von's grocery was 5 min drive to get groceries and keep in small fridge. Even pass a Panera, McDonalds, on the way their if you need breakfast. Then on the way back, there is PizzaPress a great pizza place to grab $10-$12 gourmet pizzas for dinner. Rooms are average, water park is smaller then you think, but sufficient for my kids under 10, great kiddy pool for toddlers. Bonus is the hot tub is in waterpark, so assuming your kid is old enough to survive in 1ft deep water you can sit in the hot tub and watch them play.

Our room was pretty small for the price (we had the room with the bunk bed). We were right by the elevator & our room faced the freeway. The hotel is located right next to the freeway. It is sound proof but the pollution from the freeway plus signs posted about carcinogenic chemicals in the area doesn't make me feel like I made a good choice for my kids. The gift shop is WAY overpriced so bring your own booze & snacks. Panera is close by, which is good. The main redeeming factor with kids= the water park.
