Overall great hotel for the price. the room was very stuffy and had no good air flow at all! The room had no options to open up the window and A/C was little to non existent even when full blasted. Room 419 has a loud water pressure sound that may come from the utility room or something because it sounded like someone was taking a shower in our room the entire time, it was loud.

Hotel advertised free parking. But, when I arrived, they said the rooms with free parking were sold out and charged me $20 to park in their garage. It's a scam!

The staff was very nice and accommodating. I found the bed too soft for my back, and the air conditioner was a bit weak.

I've stayed here a few times and I'm always happy with the accommodations. Rooms are always clean. I love the shower! My only gripe is the parking fee, it's so high!! I wish they could figure out a way to lower it.

Was enjoying the stay at the hotel until I checked out. Upon checking out I was told the use of the parking garage cost 18 dollars a day. I was never told this upon checking in. There was no other opion to park in the area. So i was stuck

Quick one night stay, great hotel nothing bad at all would stay here anytime!

Stayed here for just one night after a class reunion. We didn't use the amenities as we came in late and checked out the next morning. Room was nice, clean, comfortable bed, nice linens and quiet. Good Doubletree experience. I'd stay here again.

Well, it wasn't an overall bad experience nor a great experience either. The elevators were exceptionally busy n looked worn out (there were tiles missing) and there is only one elevator to the parking garage which made it an inconvenience when multiple people are leaving/arriving at once. We did not receive our cookies when we checked-in as was described on the website and were not provided any after we asked. The front desk did not explain anything about any holds which was charged to my credit card plus the parking fee which was not stated on the website at the time of booking. Vegas doesn't even charge a parking fee! The bathroom was a little dirty for I found hair that did not belong to me or my spouse in the shower. There wasn't a vent or fan in the restroom either. The king bed was very comfortable and so were the blakets and sheets, but I probably would not stay at this hotel again.

The hotel charges for parking and there are no other real options.

This hotel was perfect for our needs at a good price. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Front desk people were very helpful also.

The bed was cozy, though the shower needed updating. It was quiet and the staff friendly. I was at a conference and the room was too cold.

A last minute trip to Newport Beach found me staying here for the night. Easy to find, ample room, comfy ammenities. Although pre paid through O., I was moved to a king bed, but in a bad location ( across the hall from the ice machine!). So, as the hotel was full, I did not sleep well. When I mentioned this to the staff, I was told that bc I had not reserved this directly through them, they ' could not do anything about it", so they didn't even offer me a free cup of coffee! This leads me to wonder about booking through sites....

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was included which was a big plus. Fitness room was small but clean and had what I needed. Good for a business traveler.

great location. Near restaurants and easy access to airport. Clean room. no complain.

This was a very nice vacation. The staff was amazing and all of the amenities were very nice. I most definitely would come back and stay here again.

Staff doesn't share information about anything. Each time I stay here I get a room key and a cookie. That's all they do at the front desk. Room was not that clean. Overstuffed with furniture and lamps that serve no purpose. Pool is dirty. The manager decided not to give complimentary coffee on the third day I stayed there. The soup I ordered to go was served in a Styrofoam coffee cup and it was cold. Paying for Wi-Fi is a joke. The restaurant staff is nice.

The bed was comfortable, the room was cramped. There was a huge floor lamp in between the bed and the window that did nothing but block the way to the thermostat. The staff did not inform me about anything at the hotel. I had to find out everything on my own, e.g., location of the pool/gym, wifi availability (should be included in the room cost, 10.95/day is ridiculous), amenities such as comp coffee in the restaurant. I left a $3 tip and a note for the staff to leave me extra coffee in the room. They left me no coffee and left a dirty glass instead (but took the $3, lol). The pool area was tiny and the hot tub looked cloudy and dirty. There were small group of people that took over the area with a case of beer so it wasn't accessible, anyway. And the gift shop was always closed, so it did not provide me any extra convenience I needed. I will stay here again due to the proximity of my workplace, but I wish they would treat the guests a little more lavishly. It is a Doubletree, after all. The valet guys were nice and the people were nice, but they need to share info and luxe up that pool area.

Hotel staff was nice. Shuttle to airport was on time and helpful. Cookies were great and hotel was very clean. I would think they would have a better rating than three star.

very good location and always stay here when in Santa Ana!

The staff was not frienly at check in nor check out. They charged for parking when there was no security nor parking attendant. When asked for a refund because of the problem a.m. manager said they would ticket your car if you didn't tell them. Security can't ticket and I never had my tag in the car. When confronted to the hotel staff they said all the hotels charge so will we.
