Chose this as a business stay for two nights. The clientele was varied, from travelers to what seemed like residents. The hallways were busy throughout the night, but to be fair this could have just been the group whilebI was there. The room needs a major upgrade, the carpets are close to 20 years old and there was a heavy cleaning solution odor in the air. After my bed was turned down there was a plastic tooth flossers under the sheet that I poked myself with. Random, I'm guessing it was in the wash with all the sheets. My advice would be to use this as a back up option and not your first choice.

This was a beautiful hotel. The room was very nice and spacious. The food was superb. We will be coming again this time with our children. I highly recommend.

I was very happy here - the lobby is gorgeous, the staff was very nice and professional. There were having a tech issue and couldn't immediately process our room keys - there were 3 or 4 parties checking in at the same time - so they escorted a few of us to our rooms, and then within minutes, brought the card keys up. The room was spotless, spacious and very nicely decorated. The desk clerk put us all towards the back of the hotel, away from the freeway noise, which I very much appreciated. The internet was terrible, and I would suggest they change carriers. Also, when I brewed coffee in my room, the coffee pot sputtered hot coffee on me - it should be replaced. There were snacks and fruit in my room, but there was no indication if it was a "mini bar" or complimentary, so I didn't touch it. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was great, and the staff that oversaw breakfast was very nice and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Staff is always friendly, convenient location and a very nice breakfast!

Great property and staff was excellent. Location to the 55 freeway was great and the parking under the hotel was very convenient. The breakfast was also a great plus. Would recommend this property again. Hope to be back soon.

Close to campus. clean rooms. Staff very friendly.

It was awesome stay. I recommend everyone to stay here who are on a budget.

No complaints, nice rooms and parking, 10 mins from newport beach!! it was little expensive due to long weekend. Staff s is very good specially in cafeteria.

Room was nice with a mini fridge. Modern setting and clean. Breakfast was OK. Location was good. Newport Beach is just down the street.

2nd time staying here, rooms are a nice size, clean and a comfortable bed. Coming from AZ to go to the Speedway races at the fairgrounds just across the road.

The room had a bad odor when we walked in. The bathroom was terrible! Mildew on the ceiling of the shower and around soap holder. The shower head had one setting: needled. Bottom of the bathroom door looked like mice had been chewing on it. Carpets looked dirty in the room and in the hallway. The pool was cloudy and there was trash about. The 'full breakfast' was not an order from a menu meal. It was a limited menu breakfast bar. Furniture in dining area as well as in the room was very worn. Overall, very disappointed. We do not know why this Best Western is called a 'plus'.

This was our third time staying at the hotel while visiting family in Costa Mesa. The hotel was undergoing some renovations in the lobby and breakfast rooms on our last visit, but elsewhere the furnishings were very good and the rooms very clean. The hotel is also close to John Wayne Airport, and the staff provide excellent service in transporting you in a timely manner. The cooked breakfast was very well prepared and served by a friendly staff.

I have stayed here twice. I love how close it is to the roads and highways for easy access. What really did it for me, was the attached catering that did the breakfasts. It wasn't the most spectacular breakfast ever, but I wasn't expecting that. It was nice to have actual food instead of the standard continental waste. The internet was pretty decent, enough to watch some movies, etc. All told, I would definitely go back.

We only stayed for one night in Costa Mesa and we have no complaints about this place. Nice staff, cleanliness, and value.

Hotel is great, clean and affordable for what you get. Breakfest is included too. Only concern: the hotel is located close by à freeway.

Great place, affordable, mid-grade hotel. Easy access to LA

The room was clean and it had a lot of room for our baby to crawl around. Over all we were satisfied with our stay. There is some room to improve the quality of BF though.

Great value i would use again. Good breakfast choice

We come to visit family, who live nearby, and this was the best hotel of three we have stayed at over the past several years. Hotel, including room, is very clean and a good cooked breakfast.
