I was going to stay there 2 nights but I couldn’t find one for mon night only sun so they told me to ask at check in when I came to check in they said ask tomorrow morning so I said let me ask them before I sleep if they have a room for tomorrow I called front desk they said no all rooms were taken .. I asked for towels that first night and I waited more than an hour they said one minute never arrived I called back to ask again she said one minute they are on the way and she kept saying sorry towels never arrived then I called and I told them been waiting for an hour and half then I left to get food I asked her to when they come to leave outside the room I came to the room and I saw the towels in the room witch is weird because not only I said to leave them outside I even had a sign hanging at the door don’t disturb .. I find that their Serivice is deteriorating I always enjoyed their hotel I might start looking for another hotel or just give them couple more try I don’t like that they play games by saying they have no rooms to jack up prices and then at the end they say yes we have rooms but the price more Than doubles and their parking lot Is pretty empty most of the times I find that to be deceiving
This property is very nice, it has the feel of a boutique hotel; the interior patios are a cute touch; the location is excellent, very close to SNA.
One of my top 10 picks ever. Very warm and friendly. Not like the big chains but as professional. Very convenient to everywhere in SoCal. I would not hesitate to stay there in the future.
The location is terrific for those flying into SNA airport and wish to be close to OC type activities (restaurants, beach, peninsula). The courtyard is a fabulous place for a quiet meal and the food was very good.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel it is on the marina so it has nice views ans also the star are wonderful
It is really not much to say besides this hotel now is my favorite it is close to everything! Have great rates and also it ibas great happy helpiful staff waiting for you to make your stay easy
Fantastic, clean, nice room. Staff was friendly. Thank you!
Clean, prompt room service, good location. Pool couldve been warmer and obtaining a wine opener was like pulling teeth
Free parking, nice ambiance and outdoor meeting areas. Overall good stay for the price. Sheets are a bit itchy and TV are p[probably the 25 inch variety. Outside of that, it's super close to the airport and a 10-15 minute drive / ride to Newport beach. Most likely beats the other alternatives in the area in the same price range, and definitely more affordable options than the premium hotels that are 100 to 150 bucks.
The hotel was nice and the staff was attentive and kind. The room was bright with wonderful windows and yet became quite dark with great blackout curtains. The breakfast was good and the waiters and host made the meal great. Overall a pleasant experience.
Pretty "old style" décor for the area. But very convenient to all major attractions in area including airport.
We only stayed 1 night and we had a great experience
Just needed a place to stay for a few nights close to where our daughter is living, convenient to the airport and inexpensive. We bought it as a package deal with air and rental car. It provided all our needs and was clean and spacious as we upgraded to the suite for just a few dollars more.
The hotel was a pleasant surprise. It rate was excellent. The hotel was quiet and very recently refurbished.
Hotel is behind John Wayne airport and only a few bucks for a cab ride. Hotel has a nice wooden front desk with easy check in. Room had a nice soft king bed with a comfy couch to watch tv and lounge on. Has station is right next door to get all the snacks you need or McDonald's across the street for a quick meal. South Coast Plaza is only a few miles away. The Camp is up the street for plenty of restaurant options. 55,73,and 405 freeways are super easy to access from this hotel. Clean room, nice staff, and easy access to destinations from this hotel. I would stay again and recommend.
they upgraded our room for no extra cost. the staff was friendly.
The hotel and staff were outstanding! Very luxurious environment and welcoming staff. The room service food was terrific.
Wonderful experience and minutes from Orange County Airport. Perfect for early flights. The restaurant and lounge we incredible and the outdoor courtyard setting really drained the stress of business travel.
This is a fine go-to hotel at the price point - it'll be reasonably clean and safe and unlike other similarly priced hotels in the area, you don't have to pay for parking. In the rooms the decor is a bit dated and worn but it is clean, which is most important. The hotel staff is very good. My biggest complaint, and it's a big one, is that a very loud dripping sound from the AC unit in the middle of the night gave an unexpected wake-up call.
Ayres is a nice boutique style hotel. Very pleasant to stay in.
