Avenue of the Arts Costa Mesa, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

4.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

We enjoyed walking to the Performing Arts Center for a concert and to South Coast Plaza for meals. Staff was nice. Room fit our needs.

We had a nice, quick stay. Everything was clean, everyone was nice. No complaints. Would stay again. Parking price is a bit steep.

My experience over all was good with the hotel. It was clean and well kept. The internet is free which is a plus for me. However: I felt that when I arrived the valet parkers were a bit pushy. They asked me for my car keys saying they were going to move my car for me. That made me very uncomfortable. After I checked in I couldn't find the valet person that took my keys. I would like to have the choice of whether to use them or not from the time I pull up. On my last night there, someone in a room near mine was smoking. It gave me an incredible headache and woke me up at 12:00AM; 1:30AM; 3:00AM and again at 6:00AM. I thought about asking for a different room the first time it happened. Now I wish I had. This is what the front desk staff told me as I was checking out, "It was coming from room 106"(and they did nothing); "it was probably coming through my vent"; "other guests were complaining" (still no action); "they would have to try and get the smell out"(I was to feel bad for them?) The way they handled it was unacceptable to me. They said, "They would have to put a stop to it." When? We were all suffering all night long. I would have understood if they didn't know, but they did. They then tried to deflect the fact I was unsatisfied by asking me if I used valet parking. I said, "No". So she said she wasn't going to charge me for it. I wasn't using it! I probably won't stay there agin.

Friendly staff all around, nice rooms with a modern style

The staff here are so nice, friendly & helpful. I arrived early, they were able to check me in and I was upgraded to a lakeview room. This hotel offers free shuttle service to the South Coast Plaza Mall near by & to the Santa Ana (John Wayne Airport) what a big plus.

Clean room and good service. Parking is $24, on par with the two hotels within the same walking distance of Segerstrom.

We enjoyed our stay; great customer service. Excellent room- comfortable and quiet. Do not be deterred by the construction next door. We were given a parking discount: $12.00- which was unexpected and appreciated! Arts of Costa Mesa is on our list for the future.

Best place to stay in the area. The rooms are great, and the staff relaxed at attentive

Bad internet on iPad, thin walls, construction noise, weird blub blub sound in the mornings from pond pumps. Not a very good parking system and expensive. Otherwise it was fine.

It is clean and comfortable overall. But cost extra for parking. And there is no continental breakfast

Close to where I work. Very clean and welcoming place to crash after working a 17 hour day.

Richie and the front desk staff friendly and superb. This team really takes care of guest from beginning to end. Jason at the Valet another prime example. Thanks for the magnificent stay. It was my first but will definitely not be my last.

I've stayed at this Wyndham hotel a cpl times and every time it's been a nice experience. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are very clean and I love the location

This was our hotel for the conference we were attending. It was very close to the conference and it was a beautiful view. We will be returning to this hotel for our next conference.

The hotel absolutely met my expectations and I am hard to please. Great location for dining and nightlife. Close enough to LA for sightseeing but just far enough to be out of the busy city.

Quiet and well maintained. Friendly staff. Beautiful lake view- that's a must request.

We stayed at this hotel for our "domestic destination" wedding on Laguna. Beach. The hotel was very beautiful, clean, and the staff was friendly. Room service was good and very reasonably priced. Even though we had to pay for parking, it was very easy to get in and out and the garage was not far from the hotel like other places we have stayed at In Orange County. We didn't use the pool or any other amenities, but it all looked nice. My only teeny tiny complaint was that they didn't do anything to acknowledge or celebrate our wedding, I was really hoping for a glass of wine, surprise breakfast in bed, room upgrade, something like that. Overall, it was a good value, we would stay again.

Very good. Liked the wood floors. Close to freeway 405

I wasn't crazy about the all wood/tile flooring, but the hotel itself is very nice and great views. You're in two blocks from a huge mall with upscale stores. My biggest complaint is that wifi wasn't free. Aren't we out of the charge for internet decade now?

It is a 5 star hotel in every way. I am going to stay every time am in orange copunty!
