Atrium Hotel at Orange County Airport

3.0 out of 5.0

This is a very well located airport if you've got an early flight in Orange County

Great location and clean and aging facility. I'd come back

Hotel staff were hit and miss for friendliness, room smelled so bad that we had to call for spray, hair on bathroom floor, no screen on patio door, no chairs to sit on patio(We asked but they said they were only for the first floor despite other floors had them!) no fridge or microwave unless you pay $20 a day. Our bag was stolen from the beach and when asking for new keys they interrogated us! Could not borrow a pool table for a beach towel. Very disappointing.

Stayed thí Hotel 4 Times! Like ít and Happy for the Price!

Excellent customer service and a great place. The manager Stephanie was very helpful and great to work with.

Hotel is aged, sort of the lipstick on a pig scenario. Built in big rectangle, difficult terrain dragging luggage. 2 small ice makers in entire hotel at back of hotel so you have to walk pretty far. A/C-Heating hard to regulate. Not good for seniors with walking issues as I had elderly uncle with me. Beds uncomfortable. Restaurant is decent and service during day good, night not so much. Front desk staff very helpful as is valet. Across from Airport and various restaurants in area. Hotel shuttle to/from airport is nice. Decent value on discount sites, but for $20 more a night you can get a much better site.

Stayed one night. Served its purpose. Bar closes at 9:00 and I was too late for a nightcap.

Nice stay. As always love Newport Beach and Balboa island. Rogers Garden

Not too keen on the fact I was given a handicap room for no reason. Nor did I get an option to opt out of the room.

The hotel was beautiful. Great location and friendly staff.

Asked how many cars I had. Gave me parking permits for both cars and then afterwards tried to charge me $48 for them to be parked. Was not willing to work with me on securing a confirmation and paid room made online with the difference from the $50 a day deposit made from the previous booking. Not willing to work with a customer at all on ensuring their happiness with their hotel. Extremely poor customer service as well as management relations.

Very small bathroom, very old building, noisy, and moldy ... The brown sheet at the bottom of the bed was dirty

The pool area was really nice and that's where we spent most of our time because the room was not so great. Leaky faucet in bathroom old and not updated at all.

The exteriors of hotel were cool, bar area near pool was a nice bonus. The lobby smelled great but when we got to our room, it was awful. The smell was soo musty and disgusting.

The Hotel needed a lot of updates. Room was clean, but the Hotel it was dirty. Security doors were left ajar on the thrid floor.

The hotel should be named a Motel 8. The pool area is great. The rooms smell like old Vegas smoking rooms and the carpets stick to your feet. Very disappointing.

Seems more like a motel. Bathroom was tiny. Charge for parking.

Friendly staff. Our room needed new carpet. Quiet.

Convenience of this hotel to the airport makes up for the other minor shortcomings of the property which is more or less average in all other respects.
