Room was pretty outdated and stale/musty smelling. However, staff was pleasant, location was amazing—loved the location right in Lake Superior.
The property has a restaurant and bar which was very convenient, especially since there is not much around the area. Staff was great! In fact while at dinner at the restaurant, I forgot my purse which was hanging on the back of my chair and a short while later, our room phone rang and the front desk had my purse! I was so relieved, I hadn't notice because I had my phone and leftover's from dinner in a box. Very honest staff. Food was good and very reasonably priced.

The Lake Superior views from our suite were incredible! The hotel’s location is great. The suite was extremely clean and welcoming. The Wi-Fi dropped off constantly.
I don’t normally write a lot of reviews but this place deserves one. Right next to the entrance to the Porcupine mountains. There isn’t anything for miles besides this place. Right on Lake Superior. My son and I loved playing on the beach together. Then we took in a tremendous sunset. Great pools and hot tub. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurants were good and affordable, and again you need to drive back 15 miles to Ontonogon to find other options. This place had it all after a long day in the Porcupines.
Like: easy access to snowmobile trail, good food and drinks on-site, good breakfast with lots of seating, on the shores of Lake Superior, plenty of parking, friendly staff...... and..... ON SITE PREMIUM NON-ETHANOL GASOLINE!!!!!!!!! Dislike: mattresses, pillows, and sheets..... while absolutely clean, need to be absolutely updated
The room was nice and clean. We had a great view of the lake.Some of the staff were very friendly but others not at all. The food was ok.
