Super 8 Omaha/West Dodge

This is one Super 8 hotel I can recommend. The owner/staff was friendly and accommodating. The room spotless, as was the bathroom. Breakfast offer was fine, even included biscuits & gravy. Even though hotel,is,located next to a very busy highway, it was quiet; we didn't hear traffic. Not even the fire trucks and emergency personnel when something must have happened right by the hotel. Location was convenient to our needs and plans.

No towels no coffee no sugar fir the coffee had to ask for towels and toilet paper ....

We weren't happy with not having trash can liners and the coffee pot still had leftover coffee from someone else's stay. The only coffee in the room was decaf. I asked the front desk for an ice bag and I was told, Don't you have one in your room. I explained I didn't want to have to walk upstairs to get it and then come back down. Eventually, I was given an ice bag. When I returned to my room, there wasn't a replacement ice bag so it was good I got one when I did. Not very pleased with the room nor the service. I will be contacting the Super 8 Corporation with my complaints as well as pictures.

Made last minute reservation after delayed flight. They were ready for me when I arrived at 11:30pm. Unfortunately, need to carry suitcaseup1/2 flight of stairs to 2nd floor.

The staff was friendly and helpful when I needed it. I had no towels or toilet paper in my room, but they were short staffed and quick to get them. my room smelled strongly of cleaners..There is not much to walk to in the way of businesses, restaurants, etc, but a wonderful neighborhood to walk through behind the motel. Breakfast was plentiful and I watched the squirrels eat while we ate. The manager sets a tray of seed out every morning. And a chocolate doughnut!

Was working all day, just a place to sleep. Comfortable bed, One of the last hotel chain to allow smoking in rooms. A good place to catch some ZZZ's not much else

The hotel is a nice average stay. There was nothing wrong, but there wasn't anything exciting about it either. They were mid renovation, so perhaps it will improve quite a bit in the future. It's still worth staying at, as it's very central to anything you might want to do in Omaha.

under remodeling, change of ownership, needs better breakfast, cold biscuits 'n gravy

Everything fairly average here. Nothing unexpected given the price paid

The room was ready an hour before check in time, bathroom was clean, room seemed clean. The hotel as a whole had a musty/smokey smell. Worked for what I needed.

No elevator. Hotter than hades out and after trudging to third floor on stairs, windows were open. Carpets on that floor were filthy and place smelled like cigarette smoke. Clerk said there were no rooms available on first floor, but when we left, a different clerk tried to persuade me to stay by finding a room on first. He was rude, to say the least. We did not stay, nor will we ever stay there.

Had everything i needed. Great price, and comfortable, great staff.

Enjoyed my stay here. Good value, appreciated the friendly staff.

I did have an issue with the toilet leaking and refilling about every 15 minutes, other than that it was a pleasant stay. If you are not familiar with Omaha's freeways and access roads be sure to get a map.

Room was clean, staff was friendly, Location was great!

The the mattresses are old I think, the towels and cups were not refilled each day, one day they were the rest just some. The last day we ran out of washcloths no refills. The staff is very friendly and helpful but the cleaning lady was not friendly. Thank you for a good price for the room.

Very noisy all night, drunks in all rooms around mine..room advertised as non smoking, smelled like the bottom of a ashtray...aldo advertised a recliner has none...do not stay at this hotel.

The room was quite adequate, clean. Front desk NO!

Suited us well as we did not need alot of added services.

You can't beat the price! Very nice hotel in a great location.Close to everything. One of the nicest super 8 we have ever been to. The only bad thing was the floors do squeak quite a bit. You can really hear the floor above.

Sorry that you ran out of these items. We will remind housekeeping to restock rooms fully when they clean rooms.
