The hotel Zone is located in a mostly high density residential area which safe and fairly quiet. Hotel shuttle will take you to city center and back. Parking garage is on site. Friendly staff and modern facility provided a accommodating stay.
My daughter & I enjoyed our visit to Rome to see the sights. Zone hotel was a bit outside the heart of the city but transport via bus & taxi was easy. Very nice staff. Restaurant very good. Clean, modern. Would gladly stay again & recommend to others.
The hotel needs another shuttle bus and possibly a more cheerful driver. The hotel is difficult to find and difficult to get back to after dark, even if you try to get a taxi (which can be very expensive), because most taxis will NOT take you to the hotel. This hotel is great if you have a car. Edy was the best!!! He was kind, considerate and helpful. Good breakfast and restful stay!
My wife and I just got back from a cruise in the Med and stayed at two hotels before and after. This was the first. For the dollar value, I don't think it can be surpassed. It offers a very modern hotel in an ancient city. The staff were outstanding and spoke perfect english offering a brief overview of the city and provided a map of the hotspots. The girl checking us in even took a highlighter and marked the best spots to see first. Probably the hightlight of the hotel was the fact that they provided a free shuttle into the city. Rome itself is extremely small and pretty much everything is in walking distance of where they drop you off. The wifi was actually free and worked unlike the Golden Tulip (the second hotel we stayed at). The only down side is that the room itself was small. However it is very well organzied with closets and what not.Of course you can stay at more expensive hotel in the heart of the city and it will most likely be nicer, but you're going to pay big $ for it. I think this has got to be the best bang for your buck.
for the price the hotel was very good compared to other hotels and how expensive is Europe. I would recommend it.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Zone. It was a bit off the beaten path but they offer a free shuttle that takes you to a centrally located site near one of their sister hotels downtown. The restaurant at the hotel was excellent and the staff was very helpful to us. Would recommend.
The hotel was pretty decent. This is Rome, so don't expect it to be as modern as Helsinki hotel would be, but it's clean and staff is good. There is a free shuttle that can take you to center of Rome.
