Was upgraded to room that had 4 matching dishes instead of 2 goodwill bowls...cig burns in bedspread, carpets coming up in corners. Pools need painting but semi clean. Thick ice build up in both fridges that I saw. Nice staff. But thats like polish on a turd. It's still a turd.

we have stayed here in the past and will stay here in the future. Staff always helpful and friendly

Had a funeral and booked 6 nights room was ok old and well used but ok first night strange smell something like skunk went down and asked said probably pot smokers on non smoking floor gave me spray never cleaned our room for three days no towels had to get own room supplies on fourth day they moved us last two days they clean but the sink didn't drain toilet plugged and had to get own towels they have shortage of towels breakfast area always filthy food all over asked them to clean told maid went home already foyer never washed and windows always opened freezing said they couldn't close them till7:00 covering up the pot smell I guess toldpot smoking is legal in Washington but in non smoking doesn't matter what you smoke right never again stay away from tumwater guesthouse suites made a bad experience a whole lot worse only two people. Apologized

Hotel staff need to be trained better. Overall hotel needs extensive revamping, and the beds are very uncomfortable.

Great stay! Close to the highway! Minutes from everything. Grow up of trees keeps freeway sound down. No weirdos hanging around. Lovely, quiet property with great management. Continental breakfast was an amazing value especially with the room being $50 Less than competitors for more room and better accommodations!

The hotel is dated but clean. Many things need work but it's functional. The staff is hard to rate because it's all over the place - check in , great lady, friendly happy even at 9 pm. Next day - told front desk one of our keys didn't work. Different lady - looked at me like I was bothering her, asked what I wanted her to do about it- I said "nothing" left the key and walked away. Second night- nice you guy got us more pool towels, very friendly. Last day check out- the lady ( third woman I had seen) was professional and polite but not friendly. The room was always clean but worn out feeling. The pool area is always clean. Wifi is super slow. Best part is it is quiet. Best to park close to the building - it seems dark away from the building and people walking in and out of the trees at all hours. The breakfast is good tasting - more food than a lot of places but the eating area and serving area are cramped- hard to deal with if more than two people are getting food at once. The price is good and close to where we need to be so we would return.

Room really old and dirty, no towels in pool. Pool smell and looks dirty

We stayed here for 3 nights. The bed is hard, the room looked nice at first but was dusty. The biggest complaint is customer service. There is none here. Our room had no bath towels. I called to the front desk and was told I needed to go find someone to get them. No one came to clean our room during our stay. The last day I asked for our room to be cleaned and they did do it. This is standard in any other hotel. The pool had no towels which was annoying so again I had to go find someone to help me. The staff seemed to be annoyed at my requests. I won't be going back.

Decent hotel right off the I5, close to Olympia, yet quiet. Sofa and table was separated from the rest of the room by a half wall.

Enjoyed this hotel. The pool and hot tub were fantastic. Very clean, quiet, and friendly employees.

Got this room for my soon-to-be daughter-in-law, during the week before the wedding - some time for her to relax and de-stress. She said she enjoyed the in-room spa tub very much.

This hotel could use some updating but it did the job.

The staff was very helpful. They went out of there way to help. I will stay at Guest House again.

Quiet, convenient, and comfortable, what more could you ask for? We have stayed here 3 times while taking/picking up our daughter from college. The beds are very comfortable, hotel is nice and quiet, and easy access to the highway. Breakfast is pretty standard fare and seating is limited, but can't beat the value of this hotel.

helpful staff and the room was kept clean, the TV need was an older model and we always needed to reset it; pets are welcome, and it seemed like a lot of dogs were in the hotel

It was convenient for our stay and it was ok. Our only complaint was the key cards never worked in the side door. It took pets and we appreciated that.

Room very outdated! Old TV and it actually a VCR in the room ( not DVD VCR combo ) carpet looked like it was from the 70's along with the border wallpaper. Bed was rock hard! The hotel was full while we were there so you would think they should be able to afford some upgrades!!! On the plus side we did enjoy the breakfast and it is right off the highway so very easy to find. If your looking for a place to just crash for the night at a reasonable rate this may work for you. If your looking for comfort spend a few bucks more a & go elsewhere!

A bit dated, but fine for an overnight stop. TV was quite old with a VCR and even though there was a living room area with couch, the TV was across from the bed--not in the living area.

We were visiting family in Olympia and needed a place to stay. We usually stay at the Best Western but they no longer take pets. The Guesthouse Inn was our choice. It was a very nice room, clean, very spacious, even though we spent very little time there. It was a little more expensive that we usually like to pay for our stay in Olympia but nice for the money.. We also had to pay the extra for "Daisy" dog.
