Holiday Inn Express And Suites - Vernon

We stayed here as a little getaway after going to The Enchanted Forest and Three Valley Gap. It was perfect for a nights stay. The pool was great. The breakfast was also great. We didn't find parking an issue at all. We had a room on the 3rd floor (318). They did have two tour busses come in but they had it so organized that everyone was heading up to their rooms in under 10 minutes. The girl at the front desk was really nice. We would stay here again.

I am an IHG regular and this hotel lived up to all the usual HI Express standards. Nice clean room, decent breakfast, good staff (mostly). Hotel lacks parking in lot shared with neighbouring hotel and the pool was a little cloudy. Other than that only problem was a questionable decision made by the front desk staff at check in. Day manager handled the issue well.

This is a really great hotel that charges a fair rate. The service was great, clean and cool rooms, good breakfast provided and close to restaurants in Vernon. The only minor issue is that the parking lot is too small as they share with another hotel. Not a big deal but could have been designed better. Definitely worth booking if you are going through Vernon.

Great stay! No complaints really. Although, the pool towels that are provided - would have been nice if they were bigger. Other than that, our stay was good. If we ever went to Vernon again, I would probably book here again.

Loved this place. My son and I went for a father son night. Had great time!! Staff was outstanding!! Room very clean and pool was awesome for what we needed. Went to Canadian tire bought snorkel kit and taught my son to snorkel in a couple hours. Had a blast, would stay here again over any other in a heart beat!! Can't beat the staff and value!! Hot breakfast as well.

My wife, daughter and myself stayed at this property July 24-27, 2017. We had a second floor room facing the back of the hotel with two queen beds. For all intents and purposes, it was at the level of other Holiday Inn Express hotels I have stayed at recently. The difference for me on this property has to do with the lack of parking available and the highway noise at night. The three nights we were there we did not get back to the hotel until late in the evening. Every night the parking lot was full. When I inquired about where I should park, I was told that I could park against any curb as long as I didn't block any one in. Problem was, all those spots were taken as well. My other option I was told was to park on the street beside the hotel and next to an industrial property on an unlit road. Not the greatest option. I managed to find a spot across the parking lot next to the other hotel that shares the lot. But after that there were no more spots available. I got the last one all three nights. The traffic noise is pretty non stop. We had a room on the back side of the hotel. I would recommend a room as far away from the Highway as possible. The breakfast was great everyday. The staff were very accommodating and nice.

The reception staff got our tour group checked-in as quickly and efficiently as possible for 52 people! Only one quite small lift, so took a long time queuing to get our bags up to our room (but this would obviously not be an issue if travelling individually). Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was OK, with quite a good variety of choice - difficult to get a seat with the crowd, as we weren't the only group. Only stayed one night, so not fair to comment further about the facilities - all seemed to be on a par with most HI Express hotels and it was situated close to plenty of eateries (and gave discount vouchers to the Casino a couple of doors down). Friendly, clean and comfortable - can't ask for much more from a budget hotel.

Hotel was clean, staff was friendly. Wife loved the pillows, 11 year old twins found the pullout couch very comfortable. Pool and hot tub were good. Breakfast fine too. Price a bit higher than we would have liked, but given season and us not booking in advance, not outrageous. Overall, very much what expected from a Holiday Inn - not overly fancy, or the cheapest, but clean, comfortable, and good service!

The place was packed. A tour bus was booked here. The parking lot is shared with another hotel and a restaurant. Price was average. They allowed pets. Staff were accommodating and found us parking. Our daughter forgot her toothbrush and they supply some toiletries like a toothbrush for free. The room was clean and very comfortable for 3 of us and a dog. The included breakfast the next morning was very good. With the hotel being so full they opened a second dining room and there was plenty of seating. We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel and recommend it to everyone.

There was only one front desk staff on when I checked in around 10 pm. She was quite busy trying her best to answer the phones and check me in at the same time. Room decor was very nice, beds were wonderful and I didn't hear any noise at all. Breakfast had something for everyone (don't listen to the complainers, as they probably are complainers about everything). I will definitely stay here again.
