The hallways and rooms stank! We litterally had to hold our breath in the hall. Stains and filth on the carpets. Ill bet they have never been replaced! We wore shoes the whole rime. The towels were dirty and stained. The faucet in the shower is about to fall off the wall.
Price is much too high for this motel old and worn out, has a funny smell poor parking over all not that great. location is central and close to everything, staff is nice friendly and willing to help. Should be totally refurbished.
The hotel was ok. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was so small and the size of the sink was like on an airplane. If you looked at the photos online of rooms they are misleading for the room we got.
very nice staff, rooms were dated , air conditioner was very loud , elevator was out of service the first day of our visit, unfortunately choices are limited in Penticton. The Bears Den restaurant services a good breakfast its right next door
Bed was broken, and hair waa in the tub. I tried to rectify the problem, however front desk was not accommodating. All she said was " oh that's too bad". If she was more empathetic and offered a discount for the room I might have given a better review. Wouldn't stay here ever again .
Assume had a great experience staff and facilities were great. It was a perfect family get away. Perfect location for the whole family. When it's so perfect no much else to say. Will be going back for sure.
This is a very dated "hotel" which I would say is more like the quality of a cheap roadside motel. The bathrooms, hallways, and front desk are in desperate need of a renovation. A fan and ice bucket were used for A/C in the front desk area. The A/C in the bedroom is extremely loud and does not automatically turn off when the room temperature reaches the recorded temperature. The rooms are not quiet - you can hear everything around you from the inside and from the outside of the hotel. The front desk staff were very helpful and courteous. We entered our bathroom for the first time and there were insect guts and parts scattered all over the bathroom and the front desk staff had someone clean the bathroom right away. Otherwise, the rooms were adequate.
Wonderful hotel in terms of value, location, and amenities. Great for a date, but also for families. We would recommend a superior king room (jetted tub) for couples and for a self wellness retreat, it is well worth the extra cost (and I am frugal/practical when it comes to travel accommodations).
This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel in the past 8 years. It has not aged well and could use a substantive makeover. I was in a suite on the third floor with a view of the outdoor pool. It was clean but basic. The air conditioning was loud and the washroom was small.
This old 1960s Hotel is in desperate need of new carpeting in the stairwell and in the halls. Ensure sensible footwear is worn while traversing these areas. The air conditioner in our room tended to cause the room to have a stale odour.
