Very comfortable and clean room. Couldn’t beat the price. The pool area is dated but kids still had fun. Located near everything you need. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again
Excellent staff, room, services and location. I started out from the bus station and it's a bit of a hike but I enjoyed the walk. There's a restaurant across the road open 24 hours and there's a walking trail not too far away.
Great, comfortable beds and linens. Always a perfect sleep! Jackie at the front desk is a true pleasure to deal with and goes above and beyond! This is our go to hotel when in town for hockey. Quick walk to the rinks and coffee nearby!
We stayed with a large group for a kids hockey tournament. Staff was very friendly and understanding, with lots of families sometimes kids can be a little noisy. We had lunch at the attached restaurant, and was a great place for soup and a sandwich. The complimentary breakfast was good too.
The bathroom of the superior room is AMAZING! We spent a lot of our time in there, soaking in the jetted tub in 5 feet of bubbles!! Comfy beds, nice shower products. The attached Bears Den restaurant was tasty and priced right with friendly service.
For business travel, I stayed in a King bed room which was very spacious compared to most hotel standard rooms. The bed was very comfortable and I liked the extra little kitchenette area, desk area and sitting area for relaxation. The room and bathroom was very clean! Thank you, that's one of the first things I look for in a hotel. Room was beautifully decorated and quiet. I was impressed by the tile shower and little extras in the bathroom. The amenities of an indoor pool & hot tub was nice too for winter travel. I also tried the restaurant onsite which had plenty of choices for breakfast at fair prices; quick service. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Thanks for the very pleasant stay! I would stay here again!
Love going there so convenient and pet friendly with a great place to run (not fully enclosed so much mind them) but very convenient. Staff are always welcoming and if a problem they are on it within minutes and never make you feel you are a bother !!!
Was there for both pleasure and business for last draw of Scotties Tournament. Superior room had a super whirlpool bath and separate tile shower enclosure. Staff was friendly. Restaurant for breakfast was reasonable in price and prompt.
Nicely organized room - lots of space. Older but still very well done. Comfortable & fairly quiet. Would definitely stay again. Good location close to Events Centre & Conventtion Centre. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Stayed here for 4 nights for business. I got a Superior King room with the spa tub and rain shower. My tub didn't seem to have all the features working, but it was enjoyable none-the-less. I also found the bed quite comfortable and appreciated being able to adjust the fan/heat myself (which was right beside the bed). The staff was very friendly and accommodating and as a result of all the aforementioned items, I will absolutely be staying there on my next business trip. Only downside is there is not really a good room service option. Room service does not begin until 8am when I am already gone for the day, and ends quite early. Not an option for people who aren't in the hotel during the day or are late risers/there for leisure.
