Coast Osoyoos Beach Hotel

too much money for a room with a super uncomfortable pull out bed. the room is out dated. there are barely any tv channels available that you have to go through manually to figure out which channel you do get. the front staff have no answers for you. the beach at the hotel does not allow dogs.

This hotel is great as far as location and beach access. Customer service and cleanliness has gone down hill in the past three years since I started staying here. Rooms need an overhaul and a deep clean! In particular the bathrooms (showers). Found many a cigarette butt (I guess no one heard about the wild fires) on the beach and people were constantly smoking all over the property. I realize it's not non smoking but the garbage was apparent and never cleaned up.This hotel needs more staff and some general up keep to make it worth the daily rate. Aside from the couple people at the front desk there is no other staff to be seen. There are other options in the area that are nicer for the same price.

The Coast Osoyoos Beach Hotel is located on the main road going through the downtown area of Osoyoos. The street is a row of hotels that get progressively worse the further away from downtown and this hotel. Toward the downtown is Gyro Park, shops, restaurants, a grocery store and liquor store. The hotel faces the lake on both sides but one side is separated by a road and the other is beach. Ask for the beach side when booking your room. The road side has a walking/bike path with benches facing the lake. The beach side has a swimming area that is roped off and a nice sandy beach great for families or those that just want to lie on a beach for a while. Rooms come with free wifi, breakfast (just ok) and a pool with a waterslide that the kids will enjoy. I stayed in single queen bed room facing the lake (beach). Rooms are small, basic and clean. This is the first room where there were no glasses. Usually there are either plastic or glass but nothing here. As others have noted, the AC worked but was very loud. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant but you are within walking distance of restaurants. Overall, it was just ok. For the amount per night, granted it was summer, the value just wasn't there.

Seems to me that Coast Hotels have gone downhill...consistently. We have been staying at them over the years, in all different locations, and they all seem to be consistent with being average or below. No money going into updating rooms or facilities. And the rates they are charging are not inexpensive either.! The Osoyoos hotel is in a good location, but that is about where the positives end. The room was bland, although clean. A/c was loud and kept me up most of the night. The beach/pool towels were ones that had previously been left behind by other guests, so hodge podge of quality, sizes and cartoon characters. The included breakfast was like a dorm mess hall. It was dirty, some equipment not working and foods kept running out...i.e. toast. Usually I understand 'you get what you pay for' but when i compared what we paid here and then up the road at Spirit Ridge, the discrepancy is far too much....much better value at Spirit Ridge, although it too is expensive.

Was not impressed at all at level of service. Was not given the room I had requested. Is conpletely over priced for what you get. Staff does not know what they are doing, rooms were not cleaned and over all experience poor.

We were always very happy at his hotel. Personnel go behind expectation, very friendly, trying to satisfy all needs. But this time Air Conditioners blew big black particles on the bed. We will try a different hotel the next time.

Terrible breakfest, parking lot is very small I had trouble finding parking on the street aswell as there are tons of hotels in this area. I had to park on the street about a block away and I got lucky finding that spot

The hotel is nicely located but lacks amenities that others offer such as dining and lounge facilities. The continental breakfast can be a bit of a free for all with guests removing food from the dining area. We tended to eat breakfast at the Holiday Inn next door. Probably ideal for young families rather than older couples.

Excellent, reasonably priced, family friendly, perfectly located hotel with staff friendliness and service that easily outclasses more 'high end' hotels. We would stay there again without hesitation and feel comfortable recommending the Coast Osoyoos.

I booked this hotel through When I arrived to this facility they were not able to find my reservation in their system. At this moment hotel was pretty full to accommodate us right away. We ended up with staying one night in one room and had to move to another room for the next 2 nights. It was a huge hassle and frustration. I'm sure that this is not a hotel's fault and completely fault. Will avoid making reservations through in future. However, hotel's staff was very helpful and friendly. Therefore, will do reservations through the hotel directly in the future.
