Colonial Village Resort

the mattresses were absolutely horrible-I think the box spring was broken on one of them. The rug in living room was stained and smelled of urine. We had an apartment with a full kitchen and there was no hot water in the kitchen. Air conditioner in one of the bedrooms was not installed properly so left a gaping hole for bugs to come in. No fan in living room-very hot-had to ask for one. No hair dryer- no clocks anywhere- absolutely nothing on the walls- like it had been stripped. No mirrors. 2 of the dining room chairs had broken legs and were unusable. This for quite a high rate.

La puerta del baño en mal estado El desayuno no es completo para catalogarlo de bueno Todo lo demás es muy bueno

Would definitely stay again! Very clean suite! Quiet!!!

My family of 5 plus my inlaws booked a 2 night stay and were very pleased. I was nervous initially based on some of the ratings but we have almost no complaints. The location was perfect. A fairly close walk to footbridge beach, or the village of Ogunquit. A little closer would've made popping in and out of town easier but the 10minute walk wasn't bad and it kept us out of the backed up traffic in the heart of the village. Plus the Lobster Pound restaurant is a delicious stop right next store! My only reason for a less than perfect rating would be that a lot of the doors didn't close properly so it sounded like we were slamming them constantly.

We will be going back to this place year after year because we just feel comfortable and relaxed being there. Beach is great. Could use some updates but overall enjoyed the stay

No air conditioning in bedroom. It was located in the sitting area. Very dated furnishings and kitchen. Flimsy on shampoo, no plastic bag for laundry. Carpeting was very old.

fun to take out the kayaks and row boats during high tide!

Comfortable, clean, spacious room. Short drive to town, the beach, shopping, and restaurants. Very quiet.

We booked our room as a last minute trip. The size was perfect and the room was clean. Needs updating, but good enough for our brief stay (which was spent mostly at the beach). The staff was friendly and attentive.

The hotel was very satisfying, comfortable. Good facilities.

The hotel room was very accommodating and location was great.

Absolutely spotless!! Wall a little thin, could definitely hear the person snoring in the next room. Breakfast could be a little more. Would definitely stay again.

A o k nice clean room no iron or ironing board in room most wasp.k. staff was great

The room was large and comfortable. The town of Ogunquit has a lot of unique shops to explore and the beaches are gorgeous!

My wife and I last minute decided to go to Ogunquit. Could not find a room at the usual places. Have walked by the Colonial Village Resort many times. Contacted them, they had an opening for the time we wanted. It is very family friendly. The largest outdoor pool I have seen. The rooms were clean and fresh. While it may have been built in the '70's you would not know it on the condition. We are adding the Colonial Village as a place to stay when we are in Ogunquit for sure.

Our family of six (Mom, Dad, grandma, three kids 13, 10, and 9) were on a budget this year and wanted proximity to the beach. The Colonial Village Resort is rated two star, but it's probably closer to three. Very clean; great outdoor and indoor pools that the kids loved. Beach view. Loved being able to take a rowboat out for free. This was a real score. Only caveat is that it's a half mile from town-- a decent walk-- but the trolley can sometimes be crowded. Dad drove the family into town or to the beach then went back to the motel, parked, and rode a bike to join them, thereby avoiding the crowds and parking fees in high season.

We had a really wonderful stay! I would recommend it to family and friends. The only issue for my family was the room smelled a little musty. But other than that it was really a great time. :) Thank you!
