Super 8 Ogden

We travel a lot and stay at a wide variety of motels. After booking the room in a hurry and paying for the room in full through Orbitz, we were charged an additional $100 deposit on the card used at check in and it took 4 days for the funds to be released. Although this information was buried way down on the Orbitz web site, they did not re-iterate this at time of check in. Needless to say, we will not stay at another Super 8.

There were many problems with this room. The heater was difficult to use in the sense that it was nearly impossible to find a comfortable balance between hot and cold. The room had an underlying smell of rot that could not be covered up even by using an air freshener. The hotel has a bizarre cleaning policy that the staff did not explain which resulted in my room not being cleaned for the first three days of my stay. All in all, it was a very disappointing stay.

Room was a smoking room. No change allowed. Horrible.

Carpet was not only stained but dirty. Looked like it was not vacuumed. Water pressure in the shower was extremely low. Our room was toward the back of the hotel, the outside area was over grown with weeds and trash all over the ground. An area that I was uncomfortable to be by myself.

This is a good basic hotel for people on the move.

Friendly, helpful. Was a good experience. We simply needed a space to stay that had room for our trailer. Hot breakfast was nice.

Never again will we stay at this hotel. We were on a trip, looking at colleges, and wanted to try and save a few dollars, so we tried this hotel. The location and the price were attractive. There was a pair of dirty woman's underwear hanging in the bathroom and the floor was dirty. When staff were told of the issues, they made no effort to correct the issue or offer any kind of compensation. There are a number of other hotels in the area and I would encourage anyone looking at this hotel to look somewhere else!!

they put us in a room towards the back of hotel facing a pile of discarded tvs. beds are hard as a rock.breakfast was terrible left early without asking for refund. they would have to pay me to stay there again.

This motel is well away from town, in the back lot of a Texaco station. Interior is dirty, dark, damp, and depressing. Exterior seems sketchy, and bleak. If all you're doing is passing through town and you want the cheapest place available, this will work. Maybe one of the motels on the other side of the freeway would be a better choice though.

staff was rode room window don't have lock . i don't fell safe

No hassles. Extra pillows provided. Quiet. Clean and warm. A great value for the money.

i loved my stay. I was a bit hard to find the entrance..kinda hidden behind a gas station, but worth it.

Quiet & clean room. Was easy to locate from I-15. I didn't hear or see anything about a "Super start breakfast".

Room was depressing.

Pleasant staff. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Just needed a clean, quiet night's sleep and a clean, hot shower in the morning. Perfect for a quick overnight.

This hotel was generally quite clean, nice, and what you would expect of this franchise.
