Days Inn Ogden

I stayed here a few months back and the room reeked of cigarette smoke in my nonsmoking room. I checked out at 245AM and slept in my car for the next two nights. I had reserved the hotel for 2 nights. I asked for a refund when I checked out and still have not received one. I called the hotel and Orbitz and neither will refund my money. I will never stay at a Days Inn again and I will not use Orbitz or Expedia since I now know that they are the same company.

The hotel itself was good, comfortable beds, nice room, great breakfast. However, this location is downtown Ogden. There were lots of shady people hanging around the hotel.

We walked to the first rooms they assign up to second floor with all our stuff for a 4 night stay only to half one of one the adjoining rooms a mess so I went back to the desk and they gave us another room this time one of rooms was had someone in it and I open the door with them in it Finally they gave us rooms that were not adjoining. As started to go into the room a lady above on second floor star was cursing and yell this scaring for my children The police were final came and calmed her down. The next day we put do not disturb sign on our door and the maid came to our room while we were away and threw my baseball jersey which was worth over $200 (Official NY Mets) that was on a Hanger onto the other bed which was not made she also put the Do not disturb sign back into rooms so no one took them the sign were the same ones (all 8 of us saw the sign on the door no questions about it) so went told the front desk ask that no one go into my room again I also told them the cover blanket was dirty the maid came to my room started yelling at me in Spanish I yell back that i did not understand all she said basically was she said she did not changed the cover blanket I yell back you should not been in my room at all. I again total the front desk

The AC did not work and the hotel still Sold the rooms

First room Ac did not work. Second room Ac worked kind of. It cooled 2 feet in front of it. The rooms were very hot would have left but it was late and I needed to leave early in am. The whole place was hot muggy and smelled of smoke. Will not be going back

there was a couple fighting late one night. Someone pounding at the rear entrance late another night. Shells in the eggs of complimentary breakfast, and while I was eating at one of the tables in there dining room water started dripping from a three by two foot of damaged cieling right above the tables I first Sat down at. They should not had a table set underneath that spot.

The pool and breakfast good, but ants in bathroom not good and under construction so was bad timing to stay there it seems.

Was looking for a cheap hotel in the Ogden area, and was disappointed with what I got. The hotel staff wasn't willing to help with something as simple as getting a clean towel. Apparently, they have enough towels for each room, but that's about it - don't expect them to have an extra towel somewhere. The room smelled... funny. Still don't know what the smell was, and not sure that I want to know to be honest. The worst part is going to be the other guests that stay at the hotel - they're all incredibly creepy and will walk by the pool multiple times to stare at you if you're in there. Will definitely be avoiding this hotel next time.

We came to Ogden to investigate moving there. The only major problem was we came after hours and the front door buzzer did not work. It took us about an hour to get the might person to open the door. The breakfast was more than expected. However, for folks that stay a little longer maybe a varied breakfast menu would be a good idea.

The indoor pool was nice. A little over-run with unsupervised kids though. Our room was just OK, about what you would expect for the price. The breakfast was a total disappointment.

This hotel was once an amazing place. Now it's rundown and needs a lot of attention.

Large indoor pool, big eating area. The room was comfortable but very dated. The tv was one of the old 200 lb models. Both shower and sink facets hot & cold were reversed. Water temp. Change when other toilets were flushed. Air conditioner did not work and room stayed at 75 despite air being on. This was once a very nice hotel and could be again with some work.

I dire need of a complete make over. The room was in very bad shape, the beds are old, it is noisy. I would not recommend this hotel. It is dirty, dingy and clearly not cared for.

Where do I start...average older facility. Cable TV service didn't work - all snow, no show. Sleeping area light didn't work. We stayed in a ground level room. Some knucklehead traveler needed to learn the purpose and function of his rental car key fob. He set off the car alarm horn and headlights directly into our window late at night and then were talking loud outside our window at 0430 the next morning. Also, road construction crew worked through the night directly across the parking lot complete with a jackhammer, scraping with a bucket loader outfitted with an obnoxious backup beeper, and loud voices and banging stuff around. Sucked - no rest to be had here. Keep driving - I will next time.

Just another cheap hotel

I will not stay at another Days Inn after this vacation experience. The desk staff was extraordinarily rude on multiple occasions, and was more interested in texting than assisting waiting guests. Towels were a major issue. There were never any towels available (sorry, we are out of towels). On two occasions I know of, both of the rooms were left with no towels and this includes hand towels. Fortunately, the family I was visiting was able to provide towels during my stay. The room was very cramped, with too much furniture for the available space, but at least the beds were reasonably comfortable. I have stayed at a number of Days Inns in the past, but no more. Pay more money for a real hotel, since it is clear that you get what you pay for here!

it seemed to be a decent building, they seemed to put people that were staying a little while on the top floor, coffee pot was broken, no towels in the room when we first checked in, kind of off in la la land staff. Decent indoor pool

This older hotel has been recently renovated. It was a fabulous place when new and is still a bit run down in places, but the price was right and the location great. We were visiting with family and it is closes to their home. Our only issue was trouble getting someone to answer the front office phone right after we checked in. And the phone did not seem to work properly in making an outside call.

pool was great, front desk not very friendly, noisy, but overall for price it wasn't to bad, I do think they need to extend there pool hours

Dear Guest, Thanks for your comments. I’m pleased that you had a generally good experience with us, but I’m very concerned that we didn’t live up to your standards or expectations because of people who were hanging around the hotel distracted your stay. We take great pride in our hotel, and I hope that shows. We’re also always working to get better. I hope you will give us another chance and see that we’re doing what we can every day to improve and enhance the guest experience. Sincerely, Hotel Manager
