The Black Sea hotel is a nicely maintained sleeping machine very close to the central train station. Nice and polite staff, check in was very unproblematic. Rooms are clean, shower had plenty of hot water. A bit of wear, but nothing unexpected. Stocked minibar in room, also had great internet. Good breakfast in the adjoining hotel, though they were not offering the buffet on account of being off season. Had the "sirniki", a kind of cheese pancake.
Arrived after catching the night train from Kiev and checked in at 6.30am , they say when booking check in is at 2 pm. Booked a twin room room has a view and a little balcony is clean room . Price very reasonable, staff speak English and very helpful. Centrally located walking distance to most attractions close to railway station
Our hotel room was clean and seemed to have been updated recently. Bed was comfortable, but had to hunt for the extra pillows. Bathroom was clean and included a bidet. Location was very good within walking distance of downtown.
Nice and clean hotel, close to the city. About 15-20 minutes from city center. The problem was that the pool wasn't working at the period I was there cause of renovation. Helpful staff, especially the security guys.
Overall one very good chain hotel, ideally situated, right at the entrance to historic Odessa. Easy check in, easy check out. Security available at any time. Just the restaurant needs some adjustment, more a longe than a breakfast place.
The hotel is has a great location. Close to everything. Clean rooms and very plasent time as I stayed there. The crew is helpful and very nice. Has a free parking and fair wifi signal. Very recommended for all types of trip that do NOT include children.
Amenities are OK given the low price but expect a smelly room! Breakfast is what u would expect from a 2-3 start hotel. Location is OK and staff are quite friendly. I would opt for a hostel or some furnished apartment at this price.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly Viktor and Sergei. Quite good English is spoken by the staff here also, and the bar and restaurant were open 24 hours per day. Good value hotel...
Although the location is very good and near city center but the quality is poor and nothing was updated or even spacious rooms or views . I didn't like the beverages or meals quality in the cafe or in the terrace . The receptionists were night mare.
I will never stay here again. I was supposed to stay here 2 weeks but checked out after 1 night. Bed was creaking and hard all night, blankets were thin and scratchy, the room was cramped small like a prison cell and obviously was in poor state of repair. Even had key locks instead of card keys. Couldn't sleep with other tenants keeping me up all night either, and the wifi kept going on and off. NEVER go here!
