We are on our way to Anna Maria Island, just left Boluxi where we stopped for 3 days to go see ZZ top. We checked in on Saturday the 19th of May checked out the 26th. It was a wonderful stay. Very friendly, very clean, nice comfortable beds, great shower. We spent relaxing by the pool, eating at lots of different restaurants that are with in walking distance. Our maid Veronica checked on us every day , making sure we had plenty of towels and removed our trash. Veronica made our stay very good. Thank you for a great 6 days at your hotel.
My parents and I got a room on the top floor facing the pool. This helped minimize the noise from the road. The pool was nice but needed a little attention to cleaning. Our lock on our room stopped working. We were offered to switch rooms or they could try to fix it. We went with trying to fix it first, but that didn't work. They moved us next door, so it was a pretty easy switch. However, we were no compensated or offered any "extras" for this hassle. The rooms were decent. Our first room on the end of the building had a bigger bathroom countertop so that was a plus. I liked the new mini-fridges that were available. As for breakfast, it was lacking. The waffles had no taste; they needed vanilla or nuts or something to jazz it up. The sausage was uneatable; these patties were like something squeezed out of a tube. Gross. They did offer fresh fruit. I also did not like how some of the employees were chatting with each other. One day at breakfast, we were the only ones in the room at the time, and two employees got into a 'tiff' (disagreement or argument would be too strong of words) over plastic forks. It was strange and not something I liked witnessing.
Checking in was a bit of a pain, as I had asked for a room away from vending, elevator and ice maker. The check in person seemed to be confused and suggested that they didn't have anything like that available. So I ended up with a room 3 rooms away from the elevator (which is closer to the parking lot side of the building), but I was facing the pool area, so I was a good distance from the elevator. The room was clean, breakfast was standard, the room rate was fair, I would stay here again.
I got to tell you: the hotel is clean and in a good location. However, Jeanette was working tonight and while we were talking to her at the counter, this 90 year old guy came in saying that he couldn't find his wife and that they had just had dinner. Jeanette sprang into Action and called the police. Turns out that the guy's wife died 3 years ago and he had been missing for 3 days. Jeanette did not have the responsibility to deal with this problem, however, she did not hesitate, and now the guy's daughter has been reunited with him and there Is a happy ending. People like Jeanette make the world Aa better place because they r not afraid to get involved when there is a problem even though she could have ignored everything
Was traveling thru area for a one nite stay, and room was 130 per nite. Room was large, with king bed and the linens were comfortable for a good nite sleep. Very quite as I never heard any other guest in there rooms. Overall, no complaints other than the price which will scare me away from returning.
We were disappointed in this Quality Inn after reading great reviews on Trip Advisor. First of all, the breakfast was not up to par. The coffee machine spit out a tasteless brew intermixed with water. Some of the dishes were not even served warm. There was only sugar free syrup for the waffles. The pool always seemed to be full of leaves/dirt, even though we saw the pool man there one day. The parking lot is full of truckers, so I suppose it's a great spot for truckers, but we expected better.
In busy area but quiet because it is set back from the road. Nice large king room. Fairly clean and very comfortable. Check in was quick and easy. Exterior corridors, but felt safe and fortunately there is an elevator. No major complaints. The room we had could have used a little cosmetic painting and chairs could have used some cleaning, but overall, it was fine. Breakfast selection was good. Would probably stay again.
This is a very busy area with a ton of hotels. Everything near the interstate was booked, but a nice gentleman working in one of the booked hotels sent us here. It's probably three blocks from I75 but was much cheaper and just fine. We weren't here long, room was comfortable. Breakfast was very basic. No problems here at all.
OK, where do I start to tell you about my 21 day stay...it's the people at the Quality Inn Ocala that make all the difference....there are the nice ladies at the front desk and the nice ladies at the breakfast service, and the kind gentelman who checked us us in the wee hours of March 1st; there are the head of housekeeping (Lola) and her highly qualified and hardworking staff (Veronica, Catrina and others) and then there's Eduardo the head of maintenance. I don't know how they have managed to hire and retain such excellent people. They greet you with a smile and try to help in any way they can. The room size is good for 2-4 people. The beds were comfortable and the linens were of good quality. This place is not fancy, but it is well maintained. My daughter and I were very comfortable and felt very safe, staying here for an extended stay. The location is very convenient to I-75 and there are lots of places to eat, within walking or driving distance.
Everything about this inn was good, the rooms were clean, the breakfast was very good. The motel is situated in a very centric street with lots of restaurants. Yet the place was really relaxing and quiet. I would recommend.
