All night some dog barking and smelling was terrible

Nice clean room . close to great restaurant. very friendly staff

Opened the door to the room and the smell of cigarettes was so strong we could not stand it. When we went to the front desk the attendant informed us that was the only room available. It literally smelled like an ashtray. Spent the night sleeping at a rest stop. No Bueno!

The room felt clean enough and the staff was friendly. However, the toilet barely flushed and the bathroom light usually took 5-10 flicks of the switch to come on. My daughter and I did enjoy the pool which was clean and a decent size. The continental breakfast was about what you would expect for the cost of the rooms, not much there. All in all, not a bad experience but certainly not anything to race about. You get what you pay for, nothing more and nothing less.

Sad to say I wasted my money on this one. I thought for the cost I was getting a deal, but when I went inside with my wife we couldn't stay. The room was dirty, old, and there were stains on the beds, chairs and carpet. The shower couldn't be turned off all the way, and there was a feeling that something was going to crawl on us that evening. I had already been charged for the room, so couldn't get my money back. We went across the parking lot to the Comfort Inn and very thankful I took the hit on the room.

nice clean room. Friendly staff good price. quiet place

We got in late and the kids wanted to go swimming. The staff was very friendly.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was expecting it to be a below average experience from the reviews I read and since it was inexpensive. It was just the opposite. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room had was well equiped with a fridge, microwave, iron and board, coffee maker, shampoos and hair dryer. I got a king room which had a balcony overlooking the pool which was great. The bed was comfortable. What more could you ask for especially for the price.

I stayed 2 nights and had to have my key recoded 3 times. The phone in the room didn't work, but I didn't have any emergencies. The ice machine wasn't working one day. I normally find no fault with hotels or anything as far as that goes, but I thought the key thing was a tad bit aggrevating. Every time I came out and tried to get back in, I had to go to the office again. Probably a computer thing.

Smelly room Unpleasant odor.Moldy bathroom. Did not try to step into the moldy tub mat that appeared to be glued to the floor of the tub. Dirty floor, walls needs a good cleaning. Selection for breakfast not good. Hard fo find my room all the way around on the side at the very end facing the pool. Poor directions were given.Overall dirty hotel halls, stairs, rooms, outside area of hotel...just plain dirty. Over priced metered taxi service. Staff does not have any knowledge of local tours what so ever. Very uninformed staff. Bed sheets and covers and pillows towels and wash cloths were clean.Stayed for a weekend gala birthday celebration at another nearby hotel. The one tour I was able to book, got canned at the last minute due to lack of people. The pool looked bright and clean and inviting. Now you know what a 2 star is like...a dirty mess..with a staff with a big welcome smile...beware or come informed....

The room was clean enough but very small. OK for a quick place to stay without charging an arm and a leg. Breakfast beyond disappointing.

I was very nervous after reading others reviews but was very pleased.Location very great, room was very clean and quiet. No bugs not even on the balcony.Beinging so far from home is hard but at the end of our trip we didn't want to leave. The best part was sitting outside watching the tiny lizards play on the palm trees, you don't see that in PA.Can't wait to come back and live in Florida! :)

I had a very good stay, the price was the best of all

The only thing nice about the place was the lady at the front desk. the room was dark and dingy. there was mold on the ceiling. The pool was empty and had signs from the health dept. Spend an extra $10 and go to any of the other hotels in the area. There are tons of them.

Hotel is cheap & because of tht I didn't expect much. Great continental breakfast, comfortable, clean beds, coffee maker, fridge & microwave in room! Small bubble tvs but cable still worked. Bathrooms are very clean & the maid service was fantastic! Customer service at front desk was unbeatable. They were very helpful & accomodating throughout the whole 6 days I was there. They even let me have extra breakfast goodies after they ended the continental breakfast time. Will recommend to Anyone on a budget in Ocala!

The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was conveniently located for the places I went to in Ocala. However, the hotel is showing its age and the rooms could be a lot cleaner. The bed was comfortable, which was a relief since all I really needed the room for was sleeping and the bathroom. The bathroom had mold in the shower and the toilet didn't have a lot of pressure for flushing. The continental breakfast was very limited - just a few packaged pastry/bread items, some coffee and not any real seating area to speak of.

it was comfy and over all ok place a bit confusing sins there is 2 right in the same area though

Room was nothing special, but what do you expect for $50 a night. No WIFI....

The stay well you get what you pay for. The room had big spiders, on top of the fact that the staff was rude. Overall I'm unlikely to stay here again.

I do not see why this hotel had bad reviews, we had a nice stay and I would recommend. It was a normal 2 star hotel, sure the rooms could use some renovation but for the price it was ok. The pool was clean too.
