Excellent service and breakfast was like an authentic home cooked meal. They went above and beyond to help us with local activities and events. We felt like family while we were there. We will definitely stay here again when we are in Oaxaca.
This is a lovely family run hotel with a great helpful staff. Our daughters room was noisy, next to the office but we were told by regulars that they have never seen it used so it was because of Days of the Dead being fully booked. Breakfast was good.
I stayed here five days over Todos Santos. You won’t find a cleaner or more accommodating place. Not right in the centro, but walkable.
The hotel’s caring hospitality began as soon as I booked via welcoming and informative emails and continued throughout. The hotel is a beautiful place, with a lush and colorful garden full of places to sit. Breakfast was amazing, with the sweetest servers! Rooms are simple but attractive and clean. (Two tiny suggestions: place a plastic drinking glass and shampoo in the room.) Strong WiFi. Loved having a locked closet for safeguarding valuables. The area felt safe but a bit of walk from the main tourist area. The walk wasn’t a problem for me but, as an older woman alone, I wouldn’t do it after dark. On the other hand, the location gave it a peacefulness hard to find during the busy (and exciting!) festival time that was the reason for my visit. The owners clearly work very hard to offer a special setting in a special city. Thank you!
I was literally the only one staying in this little hotel when I was here, but I was not entirely alone. THe family was downstairs in thier home. This was my first time in Oaxaca, I had such a good stay there. Breakfast was always hot and waiting for me, along with the hot water! i had hot chocolate every morning. The bed was soft, There was a dog across the street that would bark, but surprizingly he would be quiet during my slumber! THe owners Tono and Flor gave me lots of advice about the area such as sites to see, how to get there, and even which bus station in Mexico City to get off at! I am so grateful for that as this was my first time in Oaxaca. There were several shops in the area as well as places to eat!
