It is a design by Francisco López Chavez that will make your stay an extraordinary experience, it is a suite with a unique, comfortable and functional style. It has a premium location in the historic center, a few steps from the representative sites, party rooms, bars and restaurants. Ideal for 1 person. It has access to the shared terrace to enjoy the view of the city. Equipped to work efficiently or to enjoy a vacation; to be your home in Oaxaca!

The Space:
“Amarillo” is inspired by the golden tones of sunrises in the city of Oaxaca.
The equipped suite is located inside a building with a colonial façade, formerly an artisan chocolate factory and home to a Oaxacan family. After much effort, I remodeled it into an apartment building with a unique style, functional and comfortable. Using basic colors and materials such as colored polished cement and high-quality wood, preserving the original floors of the building in the kitchen of the suite. We design every detail with the aim of providing you with unique experiences and sensations from the moment you enter the building, due to various elements:

1. Due to its premium location, in one of the main streets of the historic center where you will find restaurants, bars and places of interest, in front of the "Gastronomic Center". "Amarillo" is located one block from the main pedestrian street of the historic center "Andador Turístico" where the best restaurants, museums and churches are located. Two blocks from the "Ex Convento de Santo Domingo" and the "Ethnobotanical Garden". You will find a few steps away, party halls, convenience stores, markets with organic products, laundries, craft stores and the cycle path.

2. "Amarillo" has a unique style, with multifunctional furniture designed exclusively for "Amarillo" made of high-quality wood and special decorative details.

3. The equipped suite is located on the first floor of the building, it has 1 double bed, complete private bathroom.

4. It also has a private terrace equipped with lounge chairs and access to the shared terrace on the second floor to enjoy the beautiful skies of Oaxaca, its sunsets and a panoramic view of the city.

5. Due to its dimensions, it is ideal for one person, it can receive two people.

6. It is equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay, whether it is for a couple of days or a couple of months, you will find a desk with a chair to work, closet and multifunctional furniture to maximize space, kitchen equipped with a bar, grill electric, minibar, high-end kitchen utensils and equipment.

7. With high-speed WiFi you can work efficiently remotely, take video calls or quickly surf the Internet.

8. It has a hydropneumatic to ensure adequate pressure in the shower and water filters to remove minerals from the water.

9. The building has, on the second floor, a laundry area, equipped with a washing machine to which you will have access.

10. You will have my support and that of my team to help you plan your trip, as well as to support you throughout your stay.

11. Breakfast is included in our cafe 1 block away (8 am- 11:00 am).

It is important to note that since "Amarillo" is located in a building with 3 other apartments, there might be noise during the day. House rules are set up to stop any noise after 11:00 p.m.

Guest Access:
You will have access to "Amarillo" without time restrictions as it has an independent entrance.

The Neighborhood:
The premium location of "Amarillo" allows it to be so close to the tourist attractions, you can enjoy them on foot. The apartment is located in the heart of the historic center; right in front of the "Gastronomic Center".

A few steps from the building is a small square called "Cruz de Piedra" and part of the old aqueduct of the city.

On the same street as the building, you will find restaurants, bars, churches, craft shops, museums.

One block away is the “Jardín Carbajal” and the “Café Punto Paz”, a place to rent bicycles, a place to do mezcal tastings, and a tour agency for hiking in the nearby forests.

The apartment is located one block from the "Andador Turístico", the main pedestrian street in the center of Oaxaca.

Two blocks away is the “Ex Convento de Santo Domingo” and the “Ethnobotanical Garden”.

In the same area you will find markets with organic products, laundries, convenience stores, galleries, party rooms.

You do not need a car to get around the center but if you come by car, you can park it in the nearby private parking lots or on the same street as the building.

Getting Around:
You can get around walking within the historic center, if you need to go outside the center, the bus stops to different areas of the city or nearby towns are located a few blocks away. The bike lane is a few steps away, so you can rent a bike.

Other Things to Note:
My goal is to provide you with special experiences and sensations when staying at "Amarillo" which is why upon arrival you will find a Welcome Kit with freshly ground specialty Oaxacan coffee and dehydrated fruits from the "Punto Paz" Café, "Santa María" brand bottled water. It also provides a jug of purified water to drink, you can refill your bottles!
