Kid friendly; the walk-ways, pool areas are uncomfortablely dark at night- install multiple dimmed, 8ft. size, street-lamp looking along the walkways to the sleeping quarters front door and along the pool walkways.

Exceptional location!

We loved our short stay here! We had dinner reservations for our anniversary at the restaurant and they made us feel very welcome and special. The pools are wonderful and we loved the convenience of a pool-side bar! My boyfriend and I also enjoyed massages in outdoor cabanas and would absolutely recommend! Wonderful place.

The Marriott is an absolutely gorgeous hotel with spectacular water features. Stunning Hawaiian setting as opposed to all the congestion on Waikiki beach. The only negative is most of the activities are 30 minutes back to Waikiki, but otherwise a dream come true.

You must pay for parking daily, there’s no way around this, no late check out, you will be charged full beach view prices even for partial views. Overall this was a very pricey hotel for very little amenities. Would not recommend.

This property is very well kept. They even upgraded our rooms for us when asked. I will definitely be coming back!

Absolutely beautiful and staff were very nice. Great place to stay.

My husband and I stayed at this resort for 6 nights to celebrate our 10th anniversary. The resort is beautiful! The grounds are well maintained and absolutely gorgeous. There are several different swimming pools, and a beautiful ocean lagoon right outside the resort. After checking in, we were directed to a "welcome" person named Tabby. We didn't have plans before coming, and she helped us plan and structure our whole week. She made sure to understand if we were budget traveling (which we are) or luxury traveling, and she helped us plan and book the activities that we wanted to do. She gave us a discount card to use around the resort area, and also vouchers that saved us a considerable amount of money on the activities that we wanted to do. She was so welcoming, friendly, and helpful - a really sweet and genuine lady! We ate the breakfast buffet at Longboards. The food was good, and eating breakfast overlooking the ocean was amazing! They do have a rather large store, too, where you can stock up on everything from sunscreen to souvenirs. There is also a cafe in the store with Starbucks coffee and a few cafe-type items to eat (salads, sandwiches, and even a pretty good pizza). They offer fun activities for kids, free hula dancing classes, a few activities for adults (such as learning to make leis), and fitness classes. We stayed in the smallest room, and we still found it to be spacious and comfortable. We had a comfortable king size bed, a little dining table, a couch, a mini

Marriott GM stopped Crossroads Ohana from having Sunday church service on beach adjacent to resort.

Great location and a very relaxing location. The staff are very friendly.

This Marriot has a nice beach that you can swim and snorkel, We got to see a lot of fishes. Like everything about the hotel except the receptionist

The grounds and pools were nice. Our room wasn't ready for an hour after their check in, and we were repeatedly told ten more minutes. The elevators were a hassle because they were often full and always very slow with no stair access to pool area, so we had to wait a lot. I expected the bed mattresses and linens to be nicer and the furniture was uncomfortable, not relaxing. The lagoon seemed dirty green at the shore, not clear, but the lagoons next door at other resorts were crystal clear.

1. Very inconvenient checkout time: 10:00 a.m. 2. Just 2 places On the hotel territory for lunch/dinner with very limited choice of food 3 Hotel charge $30.00 for beach umbrella

Originally i wanted to stay at the four seasons based on, I've stayed there prior to the name change! I had a group of 6 adults and a toddler so Marriott beach club looked better. To my surprised it surpassed the "four seasons" on every aspect. Upon arrival the service was outstanding, our flight got in early and check in wasn't till 4pm I called and not a problem. They let me check in soon as the room was ready with no hassle. I love that the room has everything I needed so comfortable and well maintained. Surprised that j had a view of the water so it was super exciting for my one year old to enjoy while on the balcony. The daily activities are a great touch, messages in a bottle, bubble time, snorkeling, s'mores, bingo, movie on the lawn. I can't wait to stay again. The staff was so helpful and not once made me feel like h was bothering them. The atmosphere of this place just makes all the guest happy. Every encounter I had was like we were all familiar neighbors not once did I feel out of place. Omg and the pools! 3 pools a slide a grotto on what of the pools were even able to accommodate my one year old 8in is all he needed to enjoy! So excited to plan my next trip

Loved everything but bathrooms were a little smelly

The hotel is beautiful and the staff helpful. Room is too small.

We love that this hotel has its own lagoon. As a parent, I'm able to relax while my children play on the beach with soft sand, knowing they won't be hit by huge waves and can go out a bit and still be in shallow waters. We got a penthouse villa primarily for the in-room washer and dryer. The room is very spacious, clean and comfortable with high ceilings. So why would I not recommend this hotel after all its great features I mentioned? It's the sales push to go to their timeshare meetings. Immediately after we check in at the reception desk, we're asked to go to this other desk to get our "orientation to the hotel". It started off nicely with a lei greeting and welcome to the resort. We got information on where everything is located on the property, shuttle services, tours, etc. And offers of all these freebies IF you go to this 90 min "resort tour". I knew where this was leading because my husband and I were sucked into one these things 15 years ago when we came to Hawaii (at different hotel) for the first time. I was VERY turned off by this. I didn't go on vacation to be bothered with sales pitches and have to think about finances. I had just got off a 5 hr flight, had to walk through half the airport to retrieve my luggage, sit in a stuffy 45 min cab ride. I was in no mood to schedule a resort tour. Even after I politely declined, we still got the sales pitch on a voice message left in our room phone. Staff are really nice but I do NOT like timeshare pitches!
