This hotel is on one of the main streets close to shopping and public transportation such as trolleys and buses.

First off. No elevator from the main floor? So we had to carry our massive bags up ourselves. No help there. Then, the man at the front desk didn't have a clue where we were supposed to park our car. Oh, and might I add, they have NO self-parking. So you're obligated to pay the $25 fee for valet parking. In the room we found tic tacs all in the bed. So that means one thing, they didn't thoroughly clean where we rest our heads.

Wonderful people, family owned property could not have been a more pleasant stay.

We loved our room, the pool was too cold but that didn't matter so much because we had the beach

Friendly staff. Reasonable price. Close to the beach. No frills room

The wait for the valet to get the car was a bit longer than we would have liked

The staff was fantastic and they did everything they could to make us as comfortable as possible. Hotel is not brand new - but it's maintained very well. If you're OK with not being on the beach and looking for location and comfort at a great price - this is a great place to stay.

Shower was a little grimes. It could use a good deep cleaning.

Extremely moving experience. This December will be 75th year anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.

It's a nice location that is close to other good hotels. Zero amenities they don't even have a computer to print your boarding pass. The pool looks like something out of a horror movie. The furniture is old and worn. Don't Stay here pay the extra few bucks for a real hotel.

We were only in town one night. Convenient and easy access to venues.

Perfect walking distance to convention center & Ala Moana Mall. If you don't mind walking long distance, it is good walk to Waikiki beach too.

Impressed by the efficiency and friendliness of the staff. Although the hotel is situated on the very busy Ala Moana Boulevard there was very little street noise in our room. Appreciated the lemon iced water always available in the foyer area. Free WiFi in our room very useful. Internet computer and printer available for use for a fee in this same area. Short walk to the huge Ala Moana shopping centre. Other food stores including the ABC store and MacDonald's (if that is your choice) nearby. There is no lift from street level so I would suggest that this would not be a suitable hotel for anyone who has difficulty with stairs.

If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, well located room with the best Aloha, this is it. It is a third of the cost to stay in hotel right on the beach. Don't let the maps fool you. We were only a block from the Hilton Hawaiian Village and many great dining areas. We also walked to the big mall in about 10 minutes. Having the Lanai was a bonus. The hotel has some of the friendliest staff you will find in Waikiki.

Excellent location, friendly staff, clean & comfortable room all at a good price. Will stay there again. This hotel is walking distance to Ala Moana Mall, Waikiki Yacht Club, and Waikiki beach.

nice room, coffee maker and great fridge ,bed is very comfortable
