Downstairs coffee was nice touch. For Waikiki, and what I paid, I am very happy. Very convenient location for me with a bicycle. Single elevator was just enough, and didn’t cause a lot of wait.

Very friendly but poor parking. Has to walk quiet a ways to find affordable parking

Easy access to the beach. Love the option of doing laundry. Parking was really expensive and tight but it is what it is.

Nice hotel. A block away from the beach. Great price and great location.

Its a great hotel overall, however there is one thing that plays a big role for me; Wi-Fi. Internet only exists on 1st floor in the lobby. My room was on 7th floor and no connection there. I did not want to consistently chill in the lobby. Also, the hotel has a karaoke bar, therefore I bet 2nd floor rooms are very noisy all night. Hotel staff was great though, always helpful. Cleaning, lets be real, the bed they just flip the blanket around and call it good. I think it depends on the cleaner. Its a cheap hotel at the Heart of Waikiki, if you being cheap like me you just kinda deal with it.

We only stayed there one night as we were just arriving and then en route to the islands. It served the purpose. We arrived very sleep deprived. Check in was supposed to be 4pm. Luckily we got a room around 10.30am. Boy did we need a sleep. The room was clean and comfortable. The only real issue was the noisy ac right next to the bed. We were so tired it didn’t really matter. The hotel is in a good location, very central. It is a little on the tired side but did the job for one night. On the whole the staff were very helpful.

Window units. Awful with high humidity. The staff did bring us a fan to help circulate. Very old hotel that looks like it was only “fixed up” with paint. We thought the hotel looked great from the pics on the website, but they were obviously done up for promotion. We won’t be staying here again. Many other Waikiki hotels for the same price, with much better quality.

SUPER NOISY Was not able to sleep at all due to all the noise Pillows were super thin and extremely uncomfortable Would not want to stay here again nor would I recommend.

First location sucks since we can't even park somewhere while we check in, our card to go into the parking garage always doesn't work and needed to go ask the front desk for help every single time and that parking is worth freaking $45/night. Parking sucks if u go there at night there's no more parking or you will scratch ur car if you are not careful or have a big vehicle. Now the hotel looks like a prison to me, it looks soooooo different from the picture it shows you through their website, oh other websites as well. Describing how it looks like when I opened the front door the bed is there you'll see the top portion where the pillow is and then the bottom portion of the bed is in front on the freaking bathroom door. It's so small and it's so loud outside and this is something worth $140 a night, I got a $90-$120 for something that even has kitchen on it but they don't have any available on the other days I want so I went and booked another hotel which is this one, worst decision ever. So much for 3 stars it is worst than 2 star. Prolly the worst hotel I had here in Hawaii on my 3rd vacation here just this year.

Hotel close to beach. Hotel outdated. Room noisy, no window, unable to park in hotel entire stay, and after 4 days of room service, it ended. I would not recommend.

The room was tiny, the shower was to small, the floor, walls, sink and toilet was dirty and had hair everywhere, the carpet was sticky and stained, the drapes had multiple tears, the refrigerator was dirty, the walls had damage, the air conditioner was damaged, dirty handprints everywhere and it was in a very noisy area.

Excellent location, very friendly and pleasant staff. Limited parking. Bathroom did not have fan but minor incoveniences could not spoil the stay. Overall, very pleased.

Had a great stay and the hotel staff were outstanding. Fun and enjoyable. Thanks for everything from the two Frank's from California.

Simple, small, clean room in the heart of Waikiki.

My deluxe queen was exactly that, a queen bed. No dresser to unpack. Closet to small to accommodate my suitcase. I lived out of that suitcase all weak. Took staff 2 days to replace the non-working fridge, never used mini microwave. There was a reason the resort fee was so low, wi-fi never worked in the room, only in lobby. They had free earplugs on the counter at Check-in. Very noisy Kareoke bar directly below my room.

First room was a pit. Too small, head of one bed crammed against the bottom half of the other, tiny sink hanging off wall, etc. Was told that other rooms would be the same. Wrote comment to Orbitz, next day received email offering to change rooms. The improved room was comfortable, spacious, quite adequate, without views; what one would expect at a low end hotel in paradise. Desk staff were excellent, genuinely helpful, except for the initial turn-down when I requested room change. Usual Honolulu rip-off on "resort fee."

Close to the beach and that's the only good part about this hotel. Noisy, parking it limited, room is totally different than the picture. Very disappointed.

By looking at the picture ii though this hotel is nice but it was totally different. Room size is big but nothing special. Just bed, desk mini fridge and microwave, small tv. Worst hotel I ever stayed. And the bathroom .. omg!!! Extremely small shower and sink. Barely fits one person. I paid extra to get a upgrade but just wasted my money.... I would not recommend this hotel. Even this hotel is close to the beach.....

Aloha! Mahalo nui loa for taking the time to share your review. We are so happy to know that you enjoyed our stellar guest service, and we'll be sure to share your kind words of celebration with our team. We have limited first come, first serve parking, which is just $45 + tax a day for the convenience of parking at our centrally-located parking. There are many other parking options in and around Waikiki, however, we advise guests to be mindful of the many restrictions that parking garages and street parking have in this area. Wishing you happy and safe travels moving forward. We hope to see you again very soon! A hui hou, Carolyn Ncube General Manager Stay Hotel Waikiki

Aloha e Melody, Mahalo for taking the time to share your feedback. Our WiFi is strongest in our comfortable, open-air lobby where are guests may enjoy unlimited fresh Hawaiian coffee, tea, and unfiltered water. Many of our guests really enjoy meeting other visitors in our lobby, and it's great to know that the lure of our consistent WiFi connection in this common space is helping to bring people together who would not have otherwise met each other. As with most hotels in any market, to respect our valuable water resources, we will launder our linens for IN-HOUSE guests every third day. If guests prefer new linens on a daily basis, they just need to stop by the Front Desk to relay their request. Obviously, for all CHECK-IN rooms, our linens and towels are freshly-laundered. I hope this operational information is helpful for your understanding of standard hotel practices. Happy and safe travels to you and yours! Aloha Anonymous, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. This summer has indeed been very humid especially with the build-up of a pressure system this week that fueled Hurricane Lane, which as of today has thankfully been downgraded to a tropical storm. Hurricane season is from June - November, and we are in the height of storm activity. If you travel to Hawai'i, a tropical locale, during this time, please expect high humidity. Our cooler months are typically December - February. Thank you for the compliment of our room pictures that are advertised on our travel partner sites. They were not professionally shot; in fact, these photos are the work of one of our talented team members. Our on-line travel pictures are meant to illustrate the different room types we have and not necessarily the different layouts. We showcase our rooms in this way because we sell our rooms by "type" and not by "layout." In general, our property is structured like a pyramid with the larger room layouts on the lower floors and the cozier rooms on the high floors that have the added benefit of balconies. Thank you again for your insight. We do hope that you managed to enjoy the beauty of Hawai'i especially with our amazing central location that's just steps away from the best part of Waikiki Beach.
