Great location for the young folk crashing after a night of parties. Loud intothe morning hours , out dated, bathrooms are tiny . Lighting is horrible. More like a motel and to many extra fees including a $45. Plus tax parking fee.

nice people good room good location Alohaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Close to the beach, stores and bus stops. The area can be a bit noisy at night so bring ear plugs. There are sheer curtains so bring an eye mask if you need darkness to sleep. Free coffee in room and lobby was convenient. Kareoke bar is fun. Staff were helpful with suggestions on food and answering any questions.

Could only get cable on 1 channel, reported it. Did not get fixed. Shower dripped water reported that as well, did not get fixed. The bar wang chuns, in the hotel, was great.

The room was over a bar that played music until 2 am, and next to the elevator, so very loud every time a group of people exited. The curtains did not adequately cover the window and bright street lights kept the room lit all night long. The queen bed was about four inches under the one shelf next to the bed. At least it was clean.

This was just fine. Best price around. Small room but was clean and totally adequate for an overnight stay. Noise of dumpsters across the street at 0500 was the only annoyance.

There was no Breakfast. Apparently the hotel does t Not offer breakfast at all. The beds were old and uncomfortable as I could feel the springs from the mattress.

Downstairs coffee was nice touch. For Waikiki, and what I paid, I am very happy. Very convenient location for me with a bicycle. Single elevator was just enough, and didn’t cause a lot of wait.

Very friendly but poor parking. Has to walk quiet a ways to find affordable parking

Easy access to the beach. Love the option of doing laundry. Parking was really expensive and tight but it is what it is.

Nice hotel. A block away from the beach. Great price and great location.

Its a great hotel overall, however there is one thing that plays a big role for me; Wi-Fi. Internet only exists on 1st floor in the lobby. My room was on 7th floor and no connection there. I did not want to consistently chill in the lobby. Also, the hotel has a karaoke bar, therefore I bet 2nd floor rooms are very noisy all night. Hotel staff was great though, always helpful. Cleaning, lets be real, the bed they just flip the blanket around and call it good. I think it depends on the cleaner. Its a cheap hotel at the Heart of Waikiki, if you being cheap like me you just kinda deal with it.

We only stayed there one night as we were just arriving and then en route to the islands. It served the purpose. We arrived very sleep deprived. Check in was supposed to be 4pm. Luckily we got a room around 10.30am. Boy did we need a sleep. The room was clean and comfortable. The only real issue was the noisy ac right next to the bed. We were so tired it didn’t really matter. The hotel is in a good location, very central. It is a little on the tired side but did the job for one night. On the whole the staff were very helpful.

Window units. Awful with high humidity. The staff did bring us a fan to help circulate. Very old hotel that looks like it was only “fixed up” with paint. We thought the hotel looked great from the pics on the website, but they were obviously done up for promotion. We won’t be staying here again. Many other Waikiki hotels for the same price, with much better quality.

SUPER NOISY Was not able to sleep at all due to all the noise Pillows were super thin and extremely uncomfortable Would not want to stay here again nor would I recommend.

First location sucks since we can't even park somewhere while we check in, our card to go into the parking garage always doesn't work and needed to go ask the front desk for help every single time and that parking is worth freaking $45/night. Parking sucks if u go there at night there's no more parking or you will scratch ur car if you are not careful or have a big vehicle. Now the hotel looks like a prison to me, it looks soooooo different from the picture it shows you through their website, oh other websites as well. Describing how it looks like when I opened the front door the bed is there you'll see the top portion where the pillow is and then the bottom portion of the bed is in front on the freaking bathroom door. It's so small and it's so loud outside and this is something worth $140 a night, I got a $90-$120 for something that even has kitchen on it but they don't have any available on the other days I want so I went and booked another hotel which is this one, worst decision ever. So much for 3 stars it is worst than 2 star. Prolly the worst hotel I had here in Hawaii on my 3rd vacation here just this year.

Hotel close to beach. Hotel outdated. Room noisy, no window, unable to park in hotel entire stay, and after 4 days of room service, it ended. I would not recommend.

Aloha, Mahalo nui loa for taking the time to share your feedback. We had some inclement weather that affected the satellite signal of many hotels in the area, which resulted in limited channel availability during your stay. We thank you for understanding that this matter was beyond our control. We also thank you for bringing the dripping shower to our attention, which we will use as an opportunity to be even more vigilant about our quality control. We wish you a speedy and safe return to the islands. Mahalo nui loa, Carolyn Ncube General Manager Stay Hotel Waikiki

Aloha, Mahalo nui loa for taking the time to share your feedback. We continue to partner with Wang Chung's to ensure that the comfort of our guests and the enjoyment of their patrons find a mutually acceptable balance. For our guests who are lighter sleepers, we encourage them to stop by our 24 hour Front Desk for complimentary ear plugs. We are happy to share that we are in plans to modernize our windows, A/C units, and drapes that will all help to curtail the sounds of the city, which is a feature of being in the heart of a dynamic and cosmopolitan city. Thank you for celebrating the service of our diligent housekeepers. We'll be sure to share your kind words with our team. Mahalo nui loa, Carolyn Ncube General Manager Stay Hotel Waikiki

Aloha! Mahalo nui loa for taking the time to share your review. We have limited first come, first serve parking, which is just $45 + tax a day for the convenience of parking at our centrally-located parking. There are many other parking options in and around Waikiki, however, we advise guests to be mindful of the many restrictions that parking garages and street parking have in this area.
