This is a small hotel across Ross on Seaside Avenue. Not near the shore but we live here so that didn't matter just wanted nice clean Hotel inconvenient location which is what this was. Bathroom is a little small but the amenities make up for it.
Upon arrival I wasn't feeling all that great about the hotel (lugging our heavy suitcases up the stairs to reach the lobby), but by the end of our 2nd day there I realized the location was making our visit absolutely better than I hoped it would be. Since we didn't want to rent a vehicle during our stay, we were extremely pleased from our selections of souvenir shopping, personal shopping, tour pick up/drop off, variety of good food & restaurant locations, ice cream shops, convenience stores, bars..etc...all within a decent walking distance. We also did not feel unsafe at any time (sometimes really early/sometimes really late) while we were out on the streets surrounding our hotel.Oh and Lee at the Affordable Tours office (next to the mall) was absolutely awesome. Her tour selection, pricing and customer service was the BEST bonus of staying at the Shoreline Waikiki. Her pricing was the best in the area as well as her convenient and prompt tour pick ups across the street or in from of the Shoreline Waikiki made the location even better for us! We even used her to schedule our shuttle to the airport when we left! My daughter and I both agree that we would have no issue with staying at the Shoreline Hotel Waikiki on our next visit...
staff were great but the valet of $30/night(it cost more to park than it did to rent a car) and the amenity's charge of $15/day. Most all tours pick up in Waikiki and you can rent all types of vehicles just outside the hotel. No room service but you can order just about anything for an extra $7.99.
Hotel is great, offers complimentary Tea, coffee & water in Hotel Lobby plus Beach towels free of charge to Hotel Guests. Great central location, clean and good sized rooms.
location was great transit and tour buses are right outside the hotel nice and clean rooms slept well didn't care about the extra cost for coffee in the room but they did have free coffee in the lobby and cool ice tea through out the day and Starbucks around the corner over all i would till recommend this hotel .
We had a 24 hour layover in hawaii on our way to Tahiti for our honeymoon. Shoreline was a perfect place for our purposes. The service is wonderful. The cafe next door is also wonderful. They gave us free wine bc it was our honeyoom!
it was a super great vacation. ready to go back again.
Shoreline Hotel is nice and simple, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the location is very convenient! There is also some delicious iced tea available 24/7 at reception. Overall no complaints and staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable! would definitely stay here again.
The hotel is clean and conveniently located, a perfect place to come back to after a day's activities or sunbathing at the beach. It's a cozy place for a nice vacay! Would stay there again.
Everything is clean, location is perfect, very good restaurant near lobby. Only problem: no parking for guests. Fee parking available across the street though.
Perfect location to enjoy Honolulu. The free ice tea is great, and it's in great location to see shopping, dinner and beach.
Came in for three nights after a stay in Maui. Great location that worked just right for what we were looking for, close to restaurants, shopping and the beach.
The staff was friendly, and the hotel was clean. I would stay there again.
The staff was very friendly and the hotel was only a few blocks from the beach, dinning and world class shopping. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable. Always fresh coffee in the lobby as well as fruit and refreshing drinks. I was disappointed in the view from the room. I knew I wasn't going to have an ocean view due to the location but the building next door was an eyesore! Also, since I was there on business and needed to use the internet, I found the service very poor. My connection kept getting dropped while working on line. The business center in the lobby has two computers but you have to pay a fee for printing or if your on line for over 20 minutes. Bottom line... Very nice hotel and well located. Just don't open the blinds.
Good location, the rooms was very clean. Good service room
Good location, terrible pool, no restaurant for breakfast (under construction)
It was an awesome stay. I'm looking forward to returning as soon as possible.
While not very big, the Shorline Hotel Waikiki is nonetheless a little gem. It's located right in the middle of downtown and just a small walk to anything you need. The room is on the smaller size, but very warm and inviting. The lighting designs and bathroom architecture are very nice and clean looking. They showcase 3D wall tiles in their lobby and you get a real designer feel for the place. I stayed in a one night emergency with my wife and we were both very happy. Highly recommended.
We stayed here for 5 nights in April. Our room was on the 9th floor towards the back and very quiet. The rooms are small but we don't spend a lot of time there anyway! We enjoyed having a refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. The gourmet coffee, iced tea and water in lobby a plus. It's a block from the beach and across the street from great shopping (H&M, Ross, Macy's and more). The staff are very friendly and attentive. We will definitely stay here again.
Great Staff, close to beach and shopping, no view from my 9th floor balcony to the beach, in fact you look directly at a decrepit old apartment building on the North side But otherwise, the property is well maintained and the staff are top notch! I asked for extra towels and kleenex and got everything I wanted from the maid. Yes, I would stay again for business, but if your looking for a view...this is NOT the place. I'd say perfect for the business traveler looking to keep within an expense budget.
