Ramada Plaza Waikiki

It's Hawaii, and this property was affordable. It was not on the beach, but it was a short easy well lit walk to it. We were there one night after a cruise. It's not a 5 star hotel, but it is a 5 Star in it's class. If it were cars we were talking, this would be a new Camry parked across the street from a Mercedes S Class.

Hotel was nice and the location was convenient to shops, restaurants and about a 15 minute walk to beach. Staff was friendly, efficient and helpful. Rooms were clean but dated. I didn't use the pool but it looked nice from my room window. I would stay there again.

Very friendly staff, couldn't do enough for you. Always asking if you needed anything. Hotel was very clean, pool was nice, view was nice. Room with lanai was very nice.

Close to Hilton and Army area of Waikiki. Easy walk to Ala Moana. Coffee in the room was bad, so the free coffee provided in urns in the lobby was great. Being able to control the A/C and just use a fan was great too since the outside temp was pleasant and A/C is drying. Staff all had spirit of Aloha. Wasn't tempted to use the pool but it looked clean. Restaurant also looked good, but didn't try it.

Old facilities. Air conditioning was unsatisfactory.

What you expect from a ramada. The staff were friendly and helpful. Pros no resort fee even though it's across from a resort cons parking is a bit much if you are not a rewards member but overall good stay

Room was okay, booked room which offered complimentary breakfast for 6 people, went to try use voucher but hotel refused it!!! Very disappointed!!! Don't know if we would stay there again.

hotel was helpful and accommodating when we experienced travel delays due to weather

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful when needed even though it was my 1st time there on a trip room was very well kept clean, and I had no other problems with my stay. I would stay there again if given the chance to within a 10 min or less walking distance to beach and local restaurants and shops near by within 5 min walking.

I'd really like to rate this hotel 3.5 stars but since that is not an option, 4 will do because 3 is not enough. The two things that hold it back are that the bathroom could use a little updating, but though simple it is super clean and does the job. If it had wi-fi in the rooms as opposed to cable hook up, that would be fantastic too. What I love about this hotel is that the beds are comfy, the rooms are always clean, and the staff is always super friendly and professional. They truly go out of their way to help you with anything and always with a great attitude. From the valets to the concierge, the front desk, to the cleaning crew - everyone has the Aloha spirit. You can't beat the price for the location and the comfort that this place has. My second stay here was just as good as my first, and it won't be my last. Mahalo!

I have been to Hawaii several times and as a budget traveler, I always try to get as much as I can for a good value. Here were the pro's and con's of my 5 night stay at Ramada Waikiki Plaza. Good 1. Excellent Location. The Waikiki Trolley is just a short walk outside of the complex. 2. Larger Resorts with beach access within a 10 minute walk away. 3. Very strong A/C in the rooms. 4. Decent pool area, clean, comfortable, and usually vacant. 5. Coin Laundry room onsite. 6. Concierge available to schedule tours and give area info. Bad 1. Stuffy hallways and elevators 2. Beds, not so comfortable 3. Front desk staff not very personable. 4. Lobby frequently busy with hoards of incoming and outgoing airline staff. 5. WIFI only available in the lobby or if your room is above the pool. 6. Food nearby, but nothing special. Overall, if you are on a budget and plan on spending most of the time outside of the hotel, this could work for you. If you plan on having a leisurely vacation that includes enjoying the hotel as well, this may not be the place for you.

My son and I stayed at the Ramada Plaza Waikiki for four nights, and we found it very comfortable. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and it was only a five minute walk to the beach. We would stay there again.

My experience at this hotel. The website does not tell you everything about their amenities, beware of unmentioned charges. Such as parking fee $15.99 per day. WiFi and room internet not so good, but it's free.

Spacious, very clean room with many extras including fast internet connection. Only minus point was that voices from the neighboring room were clearly audible, perhaps because there was a (locked) connecting door; also noise from the (back) street came through. Room staff was accommodating to my wishes. Bus stop (several lines to Waikiki beaches and Diamond Head) is virtually in front of the hotel. Ala Moana shopping center and Waikiki "Golden Shopping Mile" are within walking distance. Overall a good deal.

The location is perfect. The bus stop is right at the entrance. The hotel staff is very helpful. They even called our airport shuttle for us when it was a few minutes late! Our room was kept very clean every day.

We had a good stay at Ramada Plaza Waikiki. The staff was helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had a good stay. They had good insider tips as well about Hawaii.

Stayed here 3 nights and loved it. It was quiet and comfortable. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, so you can easily get around. Hilton Hawaiian Village with restaurants/stores and a beach is across the street. You can easily take the bus to Waikiki beach, Ala Moana shopping center (good food court & so many stores) and beach there. I took the bus to Kailua beach too, though it's kinda far. Another time I'd rent a car at one of the rental car places within two blocks. Family-friendly area. I arrived in the morning, but the front desk staff kept my luggage and later let me check in 4 hours early. They were helpful with everything. I liked the workout room and laundry rooms. Pool was small, but I mostly went to beaches. The concierge arranged a $9 return shuttle to the airport. The hotel let me stay an hour beyond check-out time and stored my luggage in the afternoon before my flight. Was glad I chose this hotel!

Friendly and helpful staff. Internet availability good. No negative issues. Parking extra at $15.00 per day.

Not Bad at all, but I wasn't looking for a five star.

Staff friendly and helpful. Location convenient to downtown and beach.
