They charge you some $100+ for resort fee or some lame thing like that. Your WIFI, Safe deposit box is in this fee, NOT FOR FREE. Also they give you beach towels and lawn chairs... We went down at 7 am and all the chairs were gone. Every hotel I have stayed in safe box, WIFI, and beach towels have been for free! Not going there any more.

Fine accommodation at the east end of Waikiki. Short walk to the beach, shopping, and dining.

They gave me wrong room. I moved. To other paying 400 extra. Wrong. From hotel clogged sink , key safe easy to loose and need fumigation

Hotel isn't fancy smancy, however the valer, front desk, restaurant staff and housekeeping were extremely pleasant I felt like the hotel was fancy smancy. Prices are reasonable and close to the beaches. Everything was in walking distance. I would recommend this hotel to my friends

It was a little smaller than all the pictures that are shown, but we really didn't mind. We had a nice place to sleep and the AC unit worked and always kept our room nice and cold! The staff was always super friendly and so attentive to our needs. The bell hops at the entrance always had a great attitude and would always greet everyone and go above and beyond. The breakfast buffet was good. The bartenders, Billy ans Chuck, were awesome!! We had a great stay and honestly, we have no complaints. Super close to the beach and shopping areas and restaurants. They're closing down for a while to remodel...so can't wait to see the turn out!

I reserved a room for 3 adults with Ocean View. Instead, I got view of Diamond Head with a sliver of ocean view. I had to step outside the balcony and lean over the railing and look to the side to get Ocean view. I paid for 3 adults and kept getting towels for 2 people. Complimentary room coffee was never refilled after first use. My daughters both got bumps on their legs they slept together. I slept on the other bed and I did not get any bumps. So, I'm not sure if bed bugs were in the room. Check out is scheme for 12 noon. I needed d them to hold my luggage and there was a fee of $2 per luggage. And no courtesy of using a washroom for shower after checking out as Ohana East provides.

The staff was very courteous upon arrival. Room could use some updating but it was comfortable for our stay. The view of Diamond Head was spectacular from the pool. Enjoyed that the food establishments were in walking distance, zoo was right across the street and the beach was steps away from the hotel.

The Queen Kapiolani was an overall good experience and good value. The rooms were clean and neat, the amenities were as published, and the hotel staff were helpful. I wouldn't rave about the rooms -- they're a bit old, but everything was in working order and the A/C was a must. The hotel is a stone's throw from the ocean, even if you can't see it from your room. The views of the volcanic crater at Diamond Head are pretty great, though. You can walk to Diamond Head and most of the attractions in Waikiki.

Place is clean, lobby is tropical and professional. Check-in could have more to help other than 2 personnel but they were very accommodating.

Everything was awesome but parking was quite a bit expensive.

We love staying here. It's right across the street from the zoo so it's away from the craziest/tourist-y parts of Kalakaua but still so close to the beach. We always get the ocean view room. Staff are so warm and friendly. Totally makes it feel like home.

Friendly staff. I have stayed at this hotel at least 20 times. I keep coming back.

I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past.I have seen it at its worst and at its best but this time it was worse than the worse. We stayed in a small room twin beds due to our short stay. The room was filthy there was no carpet strip going into the bathroom nails were exposed. The curtains had stains the carpet was filthy and the only thing good was the staff

Best location in town. East access to Diamond Head, Beach, Zoo, Parks, Restaurants, Bus all in a few minutes walk

The place was in an ideal location right across from the beach and Honolulu zoo. Staff was friendly and most helpful. The only bad part about it was the restaurant on the 3rd floor prices could have been a bit lower.

My stay was wonderful down the street from the beach and across the street from the Zoo. The staff was very friendly and helpful . Great hotel to stay and I would recommend to family and friends .

Booked hotel with flight, was charged an extra "hospitality" fee $18 a day for use of wifi, pool, and bar plus another $30 for parking.

Need Microwaves. Stay was great. Food prices was very expensive, but overall, it deserves a 4 start. Staff was Superior.

The tub always stop up not drain fast and water system not work right always hot, when I take a show, water change to hot and cold not steady and other is surprising on daily parking fee of $30 per day it seem to much money. You should let us know when we book the hotel about all this hidden fee. The hotel is clean the staff is friendly. I would recommend to a friend but I will worn them about your parking fee of $30

Close to the zoo..... Great for family's with young children. Walking distance to the beach and lots of different restaurants.
