Park Shore Waikiki an Aqua Hotel

Without question, this hotel has plenty of positives, but there were also just enough negatives to make me think twice about staying here again. To start, the staff was top notch and the location was really great--In a somewhat less hustly-bustly part of Waikiki, yet easily within walking distance of all of the attractions. In addition, our room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable, and of course the view was out of this world. Unfortunately, there were some negatives too. The elevators were extremely slow and one of them was out of service during our visit, which was extremely inconvenient. Some of the common areas (elevators, hallways, atrium) could use some cleaning/remodeling. The bathroom was not very user-friendly. There was no counter space whatsoever so the only place to try to put your toiletries was on the edge of the sink, where there wasn't much room. The bathroom also had a weird layout, and the shower looked like it was just thrown in at the last minute. It's a small walk-in stall, which is nice for those with mobility challenges, but also resulted in water getting on the floor (though the housekeepers always provided plenty of towels to help combat this). The pool area was OK. We didn't go to the beach so I can't comment on the towel service.

I loved my stay here. It was our honeymoon, and they gave us a free room upgrade, champagne, and chocolate covered macadamia nuts. Our view was amazing! You could see Waikiki Beach, diamond head, and the Honolulu Zoo. There’s an attached bar and restaurant (Lulus), a sushi restaurant, an ABC store, a Starbucks, and a sandwich shop. There’s no free parking, but the valet is convenient and was only $25 a day when I was there. This place is definitely worth the trip. I’m looking forward to staying here again as soon as possible.

The hotel is situated right next to the Zoo with views of the beach and Diamond head. Easy exit out of town if you are driving. The small beach directly in front of hotel was mainly families enjoying the warm calm water protected by a breakwater from the waves. This area is a quieter part of Waikiki but still walking distance from the throng of restaurants and shops. Staff were lovely and friendly and very helpful. Although hotel maybe a bit older than some it is clean and well kept and we would definitely use again.

We were very unhappy to have payed the amount we did for the room because we had a rooted apple under the couch also there were red ants in the room . My niece was going to stay with me over the week end N she only ended up staying one night because she had gotten bitten from the ants by the couch , also the valet women who was very unpleasant she was really rude

The room was wonderful for the price including a lovely ocean view. Comfortable bed and room. Only out of ordinary was when returning to our room in the afternoons, housekeeping still hadn't cleaned our room, so the room was never cleaned during our three night stay. Had to go get fresh towels on our own. Not a big deal, but odd.

This hotel is in a 5 STAR location; literally 1 minute walk to Waikiki Beach and Honolulu Beach. Park Shore is also close to highways and situated perfectly next to Honolulu's busiest boardwalk. The valet, housekeeping, towels and front desk service was also 5 STAR. The pool was small for adults but well maintained and accessible all day. I would recommend this hotel if you want to save money and still enjoy a nice stay.

Great place to stay. You shouldn't put a minimum of 50 words as it deters customers that want to leave a concise message about the experience and not make up stuff.

Hotel was clean and staff was extremely nice as well as helpful. It was a great location, across from the beach at the quieter end of Waikiki. I was very happy with the hotel and my stay. The only thing I'd change is to pay the extra money for a better view

I was lucky enough to be upgraded from a standard room to an ocean view. Waking up to Waikiki Beach each morning and being able to relax on the balcony and take it all in was absolutely fantastic. Very friendly / helpful staff. Only complaints would be the broken elevator / remodeling that was going on during our stay. Also, the pool is just average but I knew that when I booked the place. The beach is literally across the street though so might as well just swim there.

The hotel was older than I expected and the room was just OK, nothing to rave about, The view of the ocean from the room was spectacular. We only had the room for 1 night and at 4am we had to evacuate the hotel because of a busted water pipe on the 17th floor. This was not a great experience which caused us to be sleep deprived because our flight was to leave that evening.

across the street from the beach and park with an ocean view pool deck. the view rooms see diamond head as big as any hotel in all of waikiki. some rooms just have ocean view while others see diamond head too. cheaper rooms have no view. the hotel restaurant bar can be loud til 2:30 AM if your room is facing that way and or lower down. rooms seem smallish but bigger decks. lots of food venues within 5 min walk and kids beach or body surfing beach side by side. the zoo is 1 minute walk away and animal noises are cool to hear sometimes. less crowds this end of a very very busy waikiki. short walk to locals beaches and skin diving about as good as hanauma bay 100 yards out. we went to famous hanauma bay and the crowds were in the hundreds in the water and the h20 cloudy and reef destroyed within 50 yards. just by Mask snorkel and fins at ABC store in hotel lobby for about $25 a person. don't forget to check out and book Doris duke estate shangrala online before you fly over. we stayed 2 weeks April lots of sun with a little rain everyday

My husband and I were celebrating our 41 anniversary and stayed at the Park Shore. We had a view of Diamond Head and the beach that were amazing. The staff could not have been any more friendly and helpful. If I had to find one downside I would say we only had 6 drawers to put our clothes....not a big deal. We rented a car and the valet guys never took more than 3-5 minutes...they were great too. I liked the lower end of Waikiki because it wasn't as crowded and there is a park across he street with beautiful trees and benches to sit. I would stay there again!!!

Had a fantastic time. Great location and hotel staff was great

Clean rooms, super friendly staff! The location was perfect right on the end of the strip. Right on the beach.

I had selected this hotel and paid in advance for 6 nights based on a picture of a room with a king bed. When we got to the room it had 2 double beds in a room sized for only one and did not have a chair of any kind. No place to sit for any reason except a short bench which put your face within inches of the TV. I immediately called the desk that the room was not acceptable but was told there were no other rooms available. The next day I went to the front desk and made my displeasure known. At first the desk man said there was nothing he could do but a nice lady (boss) listened and looked at the computer and said put them in this room. It had a king bed and enough room to move around with having to walk sideways. She also said a chair would be brought there. A man brought 2 chairs. They were plastics outside ones but much better than nothing. After 61 years of marriage we like to have a place to sit and read an watch TV .

The Hotel is across the street from the beach. It is a short walk to Royal Hawaiian hotel. A $5 Uber ride if you don't want to walk. The bed was comfortable. We plan to return to this hotel in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at Park Shore. Our son got married in Waikiki. Very nice place. Staff was friendly and helpful.

It's a very clean hotel and it just across the street from the beach and to the main Waikiki walk strip. Has an abc store at the bottom and lulus restaurant ! Which was great! Can't complain one bit.

Great location, friendly staff. Close to everything. The staff did let me check in early which was a great start of the vacation.

Terrible view supposed GARDEN /City view was actually a view of the huge Aston Waikiki Hotel rooms wall of glass and concrete. Average rooms but claustrophobic location in the hotel...of course they can upgrade you for another $50 nite...
