The workers are excellent! Carlos on the front desk did everything in his power to compensate me for the facility problems that we encountered. One of the problems was the spotty operation of their elevators which are too small and also used by the housekeeping staff for moving large carts. Their parking lot attendants were good except for a couple of female attendants who, while not visibly handicapped, acted like they had difficulty in rising out of their chairs. Basically their facilities are too small or limited for the number of customers that they have.

I have heard that it's level of appeal had been declining but that it has recently undergone a renovation. I don't know if any of that is true but my experience was pleasant. It is clean, my linens were crisp, in perfect condition and visually appealing. It had all the conveniences, safe, iron, coffee pot, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, etc. They have a DVD machine from which you can get DVD's for free for viewing in your room. The way their room cards interact with the elevator provide a layer of protection. I was only there one night and I liked it.

Excellent hotel close to beach and shopping center at terrific price would stay at hotel again

The hotel is adequate if one is visiting relatives or friends in Honolulu and only needing a place to sleep, not to use as a resort. It's not for a typical tourist experience. The rooms need to be upgraded. The furnishings are old; carpeting stinks and needs to be cleaned or replaced. The rooms need to be re-painted and deep-cleaned. The staff is very nice though.

I had a Great time in Hawaii this trip, and the Pagoda always makes me feel like I'm at Home!!

Our room was freshly renovated and they were in the process of doing others . The common areas, hallways and lobby was a little tired and dated . Overall was a good value and I would stay their again.

I had a comfortable stay at this hotel. The restaurant attached is very interesting. It is floating over a Coy pond. The front desk staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful.

First and foremost the staff was pleasant and accommodating. Although it is an old property it was in a pretty good condition. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the Ala Moana shopping center. There are numerous restaurants located within walking distance and the Pagoda restaurant is a fine facility as well.

The hotel clerk was clear on where everything was located, very friendly & courteous. She also called to say room was available to go in. I enjoyed my stay.

Convenient, close to shopping and food. Food reasonable and excellent at Hotel dining room. Wait staff and all staff super nice. The rooms could use a little bit of a makeover butt are kept clean a good budget hotel stay. We usually stay here on our trips to Oahu.

it's an older motel but in good condition and in a good location.

What you see in the pictures is what you get. The beds are comfortable. The appliances are in good, not great, condition. The bathroom was good. Overall our stay was good. We didn't spend much time in our room, so that was good. If you're just looking for a place to stay this is it! I liked that you could rent movies, for when you have down time.

We love the great price!! It was close enough to the airport.

Good clean rooms. I like this place. ,.........................

The rooms were a bit out of date, and the hotel overall was out of date as well. The staff were very friendly, however I do not think that the hotel is worth the price I paid.

Great Location! Staff friendly and helpful especially with driving directions. Loved the Koi Pond and food at the Pagoda Restaurant. Near Ala Moana and Don Quijote. Will be back, God Willing! Mahalo and Aloha! Suzanne from Chicago.

Staying at the Pagoda was like going home. I'd been there with 442nd men who used it as a hospitality site in the past. I love the koi gardens. The proximity to other little local restaurants worked perfectly for me. I attended the Punchbowl ceremonies on Sunday's Spirit of '45 event and later took one of the main organizer to lunch at the Pagoda buffet on Friday. The staff at the hotel were great I asked not to have major work done until I leave. I had trouble with AC and the warm temp and was trying to figure out what helped and hindered. I'll be back regardless!

My daughter and I stayed here over night for a concert. The venue was a few blocks away. The staff were outstanding and were very accommodating.

Have stayed at the Pagoda several times. Staff very helpful. Good Value. Walking distance to several restaurants. Older rooms. Well kept. Parking just across the street.

Everything is great! The hotel provides shuttle to Waikiki, unlimited DVDs, etc. The girl at the front desk is very helpful and friendly.
