Great staff. Close to waikiki beach. They offer hospitality room after check out. They are able to hold your luggage after check if needed. Only down side was that I was given a very small room for my stay. Can't take a shower without touching the walls. Felt very crammed. Overall, everything else was great.

my time there was nice, needs ice machines on all floorsconven

It was the worst check in ever. After a flight being canceled a rental car break down, meeting your front desk people was the worst of a bad day. When you're not a tourist, you don't need the speech. Sometimes actual business stay at your hotel, and your front desk needs to act like it.

Lots to do in the area--shops and restaurants are great surrounding the hotel.

We stayed two nights as a stop over before heading to Maui.We walked the short block or so to Waikiki beach for a swim and views of the sunset. We had delicious paella from a street vendor just across the way from the hotel. The city buses run right by one side of the hotel and we used the #2 bus to get to the Holo, ulu Museum of Art which is quite impressive.

Excellent experience. We stayed 7 nights and loved.

Excellent location. We had a room with kitchenette which helped out lowering dining out cost for 8 days of travelling.

If you're just looking for a last minute place to sleep and shower it's there A/C stopped working my first night got moved and that one stopped too the hotel is ok not the best. I'd try somewhere closer to the beach

Close to beach, restaurants, shopping. Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds

Booked economy room, upon arrival was upgraded to literally the best room in the hotel: top floor ocean view suite! Our flight left at night so we asked to book the room for that day at the same price and were able to do so. I have stayed at this hotel on and off for the last 14 years and have always had a good experience.

We had a very small room, corner room and smaller than the standard. The facility was kind of old and the sheets doesn't look too clean. The location was excellent though.

very nice, but do not take a room ending in 00. They share a wall with the elevator and are noisy, we had to switch rooms the first night.

No FOX SPORTS TV in room, had to go to lobby to see Dodger games (didn't like that). When we arrived from airport, were taken to Hotel ( outrigger east) driver took us to wrong hotel ( outrigger west) said that's how Orbitz had booked it. We told him we were in outrigger east. he took us there afterwards. Told us we would have to call Orbitz to change location when pickup return to airport at end of vacation. We called , but there was to much trouble changing location pickup, We walked to original drop off location to return to airport. they said it was Orbitz fault. WE DIDN'T LIKE THAT, would appricate compensation, like free trip back to OAHU, OK?

We enjoyed our stay, friendly staff, close to beach shopping and dining and entertainment. Also afordable.

The A.C wasn't strong enough, we were pretty hot all night. The mini fridge wasn't cold. The bathroom didn't have enough towels. The carpet was dirty. I was very disappointed in the cable as well. The lady at the front desk was sweet when we checked in!

Spacious and comfortable with nice balcony. Many eateries nearby as well as convenient stores. The Pink Line bus stop is just a short 3 mins walking distance which is convenient enough.

About 3 mins walk to Waikiki Beach. Nice big and comfortable bed and cupboards. However, the shower head's water pressure is not very strong and the bath tub is a little too small.

The OHANA East was an affordable option for Waikiki. I enjoyed the pool and the closeness to points of interest and the beach.

Room was small one side of bed difficult to get in and out of. Hot water 5 minute wait every time. No continental breakfast. On the good side, quiet, clean, pool available, staff nice and the price is right for what you get. Kamaina parking rates Would stay again as we were out of more than in this room.

When we were checking in, we asked for 2 rooms away from the elevator since we read about the room tips from TripAdvisor. The lady who helped us pretty much said "you reserved an Economy room, so you get what you paid for". What kind of an attitude is that for a front desk person. Instead of saying something like the hotel is full, we'll do our best to find you a good room, she kind of told us that we reserved a cheap room so we had to be punished?? So true to her words, she gave us a room behind an elevator bank of 3 elevators. I think she (Mailele) was punishing us for sure. This room is back to back to the elevators (room 10000). All night long, we can hear the elevators running like 3 trains. On the other hand, my uncle who was waiting after me, was helped by another staff, got a room also next to the elevator but was buffered by the Elevator Service room (room 1130). They didn't hear the elevator at all. The next day we asked to switch to another room and was helped by a more understanding staff. She gave us a similar room like my uncle's room on a different floor (room 1230). After we came back from Maui, we reserved another room and was given a room on the 2nd floor that doesn't have a balcony but away from the elevator. So in conclusion, they do have economy rooms but not all are by the elevators. Also, in their website, they should explicitly said that economy rooms are next to elevators, not hiding that fact in another link.

Aloha Ashley, Sincerest apologies on your experience during check in. Our hosts are trained to give a speech of all we have to offer during the check in process, whether it be for tourist or business travelers alike. Apologies if you felt inconvenienced by it, our intention is not to upset our guest. I would welcome direct correspondence from you to appropriately address as doing so on a public forum is unlikely to remedy. We sincerely hope you will return and stay with us in the future. Island Regards,

Good morning Thank you so much for the kind review. So good to hear you out and about exploring Waikiki - so much to see and do. Brave in the cold waters of Waikiki Beach at this time of year (but then everything is relative ;) ) all the best, happy 2017. Mahalo
