Not feel so warm welcomed and had tv not working called front desk after waited more than 30 minutes still no one showed up.

First thing I look for in a hotel, Clean and Safe. This hotel was absolutely both. 2nd Convenience, is it conveniently located or easily accessible. Absolutely it was convenient. 3rd Customer Service, the staff was Excellent, Friendly and Welcoming. They made me feel like “ Aloha”, my first time in Hawaii, so that’s what I was really looking for. What I do think is needed; A real Restaurant, it would be awesome to have a full service sit down restaurant. One that has a variety of prepared dishes and that can offer room service. Lastly I just wish the pool area was 3 Times bigger and that the pool was 3 Times bigger. I enjoyed my stay

This hotel was a great find! Very walkable distance to the beach. The hotel provides free of charge, towels, beach chairs, boogie boards and snorkel equipment to take with you to the beach! Rooms were very spacious and clean. All the staff was super friendly and helpful. There is a Cheeseburgers in Paradise and an ABC store a block away. There are tons of great restaurants and shops withing several blocks and are easy to walk to as well. If we ever make it back I would definitely stay here again.

Since we checked in on a Friday we wished we'd been told at desk about fireworks. Lobby very nice, but breakfast discount only allowed one day at their buffet. It was a good buffet.

Best thing about this hotel is the amenities including: free bikes, wine and cheese reception 3 times a week, unlimited DVD and playstation games, $10/day food coupon for breakfast buffet or cafe, yoga classes, newspapers. We rented a studio with kitchenette and the kitchen supplies were sufficient, but there were a lot of empty cabinets. The pool was nice and they have a fitness room, but didn't use either since I was on a work trip and very busy. The hotel itself as well as the rooms had a very nice floral smell. We didn't have any problems with waiting for elevators as some previous reviewers have had. The front staff and bell men were very helpful. The a/c in the room was powerful enough to keep the room cool, but was a little loud. The loudness of the a/c helped to drown out the street noise which wasn't terrible, but was audible. We were on the 6th floor.

Had a wonderful time, the staff, workers, and in general were all very friendly, helpful. Would liked to have had a view of the ocean but the view we had was amazing. Just a lot of walking to restaurants for my sister and myself being a little up in age. Could not have asked for a better vacation. Our tour with cousin Kevin to the Dole plantation and the Island was fabulous and Kevin was so funny kept all of us laughing and very knowledgeable about the history of Island.Thank you all for a wonderful time

10 minutes walk to waikiki beach & 10 minutes walk to shopping area... And hotel price is resonable....

This hotel was a great pick, although the elevators were a pain, they are working on the problem and just installed a new one that will be up and ready soon making it faster to commute up and down! The hotel was close to it all, a 5 minute walk to the beach to your left and a 5 minute walk to the heart of Waikiki's shopping center to your right. The Fish hook cafe located right in the lobby was a delicious place to enjoy a breakfast buffet, since the resort fee includes $10 off coupons, very convenient and cost efficient. I definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Good access to business and personal enjoyment areas, yet nicely out of the mad rush area of Waikiki proper

I enjoyed were we stayed everything close by nothing was to far. Staff was exceptional good

Great hotel excellent view not far from the beach I love they have a little kitchenette and the staff was excellent and very friendly and helpful

We've stay here before, great location. Elevator under repair, stayed on the highest floor avg wait was 2.25 minutes. The shower head had a towel wrapped around it bc of leaks, couch cushion had a large stain and toilet was not completely clean. Out of the 3 times we stayed here, this is the only time we encountered this, so I don't know. Staff is great and we like the cocktail hour and coffee mornings. Pool and gym are decent. *as for recommendations to hotel, the NO is until elevator is fixed

The hotel provided excellent customer service on our arrival .We arrived after a very long flight early in the morning .We received an upgrade on our arrival which was a pleasant surprise and the ocean views were just perfect . The Luana Waikiki hotel is very quiet .The shops and beaches are very close .You can catch a double decker Waikiki bus just around the corner of the hotel for $2.00 which can take you where you want to go . The beach and shops are walking distance .The only issue was that 2 out of 3 elevators were not working when we arrrived and this was on a weekend . We did not have to wait long though . The bell staff were fantastic and the concierge staff were welcoming. I do recommend this hotel if you are looking for a quiet stay . Our Suite was huge and the kitchen had everything you need .

Stayed for a wedding at nearby Hale Koa club. Very easy walk back and forth, which was very nice. The elevator was out of service the entire time, which put a lot of pressure on the other two,

I would totally recommend this hotel! We received a free upgrade upon arrival. Free DVD rentals and attended free yoga classes 3x per week. The pool and exercise room were always clean. The hotel was immaculate. The staff was super nice! The downsides: 1) restaurant was closed for renovations. 2) shuttle service wasn't so great.

Excellent staff, but a very old hotel. Incredibly poor and slow elevator service - at times only 1 working elevator in which I got stuck on one occasion. Staff did kindly waive the amenities fee and parking fee for this reason though, which was very much appreciated.

Clean modern hotel close to park & Waikiki Beach. Easy walk to shopping. On site cafe closed for renovations- food options close by. Elevator upgrade in progress. Scored a great rate via Orbitz.

The hotel was close to everything the shops were within walking distance and the beach was super close and the staff was very friendly and helpful and the plus side you can get a DVD rental for your stay only one DVD time and plus you can borrow a towel for the beach and turn it in once your done and get a clean fresh one once you turn it in overall I would stay again at this hotel they had everything we could need the in the room for cooking and making food I would recommend for someone visiting hawaii

Very Comfortable hotel with friendly helpful staff, good views, good amenities, and best of all, just a short walk from the beach.

Its nice and easy access to the besch and mall the staff are all nice
