Hilton Waikiki Beach

4.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Hotel is nice and close to everything, walking distance to shops, reataurants and the beach. One thing I noticed is that there is no a/c in the hallway on your way to the rooms that makes it a little stuffy. Other than that, Hotel is recommended. Will definitely stay again.

Very noisy plumbing and the water pipes starts rattling very loudly from around 5:00am.

been to this hotel few times and always enjoy my stay.

Very good experience at a good hotel. You don’t have to far to eat or do things. Many buses stop right outside the hotel door so a car isn’t needed to get around Waikiki.

Hotel was old, fairly clean, but limited places to eat. The prices were 5 times higher than other Wakiki newer hotels. While the room was comfortable, amenities were few. The concierge was nice, but booked through Expedia. Lessons learned.

Front desk wasn't so helpful i requested a room with mountain view and he was so mean and not helpful at all!

Great service! Steven and Chad took care of us upgrade to parlor suite highly recommend

When booking this hotel I did not realize there is more than one Hilton in Honolulu and two with key words Hilton and Waikiki so we ended up at the wrong hotel from where our friends were staying (Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki) versus Hilton Waikiki Beach. This caused a number of issues since we could not get out of our reservations at the latter and had to work out transportation between the resorts. Also my number of days got off by one night and the Hilton Waikiki with 350+ rooms did not work it out to stay one extra night which put us having to move to another hotel for one night. The Assistant Manager tried to work with us but I found it odd that there was not one room to be had in that big a property.

Perfect distance from the beach and everything else

Had a great time here! Hotel is clean, close to beach and staff was great! 4 different happy hours in the hotel! The MAC restaurant is 24 hours and has really good food and excellent wait staff! Would stay again for sure!!

My family and I picked this hotel based on it's reviews and it's relative closeness to everything Waikiki has to offer. When we first checked in the staff was courteous and professional. On Wednesday (5/24, around 2pm), my family and I called concierge to find some things to do on our off day, the woman on the phone told me that she would call us back soon and took down our room number. 20 minutes went by, no returned call so I called them back and when she answered the phone, she was laughing and coughing and barely could speak. When I told her that I was waiting for a call back she basically said 'oh, my bad'. Frustrated, we decided to go down and talk to them in person. There were two woman there and both were almost no help. When I found a Magic show, I asked one of the women to show us some pictures and she snapped back "I don't have anything you can't find on that", pointing at my phone. This woman alone made my whole family uncomfortable and made us feel stupid for asking questions. This was our first time in Hawaii. When I spoke to a manager later that day, I got some blank stares and the normal "I'm sorry this happened to you, but there's not much we can do" speech. The cleaning staff was extremely friendly and left us extra towels and other toiletry products. My only complaint was how dusty the room was and how dirty the floors were. My feet were black and the room was FILLED with dust. If you're a family of 4 staying in the 2double bed room, it'll be tight.

We did not have too many problems. Shower door needed repair. It did not close completely.

Valet parking is a nightmare if you need to go in and out since you need to valet it all the time. The problem is valet but how long it takes from valeting to you leaving the hotel. The beds were uncomfortable. I stayed for 5 nights and didn't sleep well at all.

This is a beautiful hotel. The staff was cordial, attentive, professional and very Eager to please. They made our stay very enjoyable.

Enjoyed every thing, the people were all very good and helpful.

The hotel fit all our expectations. Clean, comfortable, friendly staff, good restaurant within, block from the beach. If I had to pick a con it would be the parking. The valet parking is easy and convenient but the hotel charges $30/day for using the ramp. Just adds to the trip cost, but in Honolulu, parking is scarce so you get what you can.

The great thing about this hotel it is close to everything you need in Waikiki Beach, the malls, beach, food and sight seeing. Everything is pretty much walking distance! The downside about the hotel is that it's VALET ONLY and costs $30 a day gratuity not included. The staff was amazing, they let us check in early since we arrived early! They upgraded our room the next day for a better ocean view. The valet is awesome they are fast with their car service.

Staff was helpful Good location Great fish tacos & breakfast selections

hotel was nice room was clean and nice staff were nice the only thing i didnt like was parking was $30 night valet only

Experience was welcoming and hotel staff was friendly and went out of their way to accommodate me.
