My essentials in a hotel room: fridge, microwave, parking, sometimes wifi. Located in an alley near some hostels, next to Mamis Empanada food truck (so give them a try and get a scrumptious snack)! Staff was super nice. For $25/day overnight parking, there better be avail space for you (which there is)! Wifi is avail (included in resort fee of $13/day) but annoying in that you have to keep reconnecting and putting in their pw several times a day. They offer free movie rentals and towels for beach. Clean bedding. Lotion and soap could be better but you prob have ur own. I would stay again.

The room was clean and in good condition. Nice staff. Within walking distance of almost all major attractions in the area. Everything worked in the room. No complaints at all!

This hotel is 3 blocks from the beach located right next to the zoo, starbucks, Jamba juice, subway, ABC store and shopping areas. Unfortunately they charge close to about $100 dollars in "fees" but it was clean and we had a small fridge/kitchenette in our room. Beds are clean and comfortable. Parking here per day is $25.00 unfortunately more then the rental car itself but it's tough getting parking in Wakiki anyway. Overall I would stay here again.

This is our second stay at this hotel. We found the staff to be nice and knowledgeable, willing to give you suggestions, directions, and bus routes. It is within two blocks of the beach, with not one, but two ABC stores on the way! Near the zoo and aquarium. Rooms are large, bed was comfortable. Heard the Ewa (pronounced "Eh-vah" BTW) was due to be remodeled soon.

The staff is wonderful, cannot do enough for you but hotel is in need of upgrading . Some of the rooms do not have closets but never mentioned in ads. Location is good, 1 block from beach. They were so nice to me I don't want to sound too negative. Their price is right for an old hotel.

Location of the hotel is great. Block away from the beach and on the Diamond side of the Waikiki so you get the hustle of Waikiki but a little less of it. Rooms a little dated and lighting was pretty rough with bright white lighting inside of soft lighting. Felt like a hospital room sometimes. Would still suggest this location if you want to stay in Waikiki not far from the beach, want something inexpensive, don't plan on being in the room too long and want to frequent Hula's.

Staff was incredible. From maids to the front desk.

after my terrible experience in Kona. was a relieve the personal from the hotel were very kind and helpful

it's old and run down, one elevator (slow) unknown charges I'm still investigating on this unknown charges. Parking is $25 a night. Neighborhood is not a safe place to be alone at any time of the day! The location is in an alley, Old neighborhood with illegal action going on, obvious! No security, they do have camera's posted in the garage & lobby area.

Clean and comfortable. No frills Friendly, helpful staff.

I had no problems at this hotel at all. I usually prefer to stay at a hotel that has a pool, but since I was literally one block away from the beach, I did't mind this time. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean. I had a great time visiting Hawaii. I would stay there again.

Close to beach and everything is within walking distance. Hotel was very clean and comfortable. The building is starting to show its age and it could use some tlc. I travel for work and this hotel was cleaner than others I have stayed at A higher price and this hotel had a much better location.

Our 3 night stay at the Ewa was very comfortable. The staff is exceptionally friendly and accomodating, a big mahalo nui loa to Gabe and Etsu. The king size bed was just the right blend of support and cushion, a high quality sleep for a great price. The value you receive from a stay at the Ewa is outstanding. The small kitchenette was functional and efficient, though surface area for meal prep is limited. We moved over one of the many small tables available in the room for this. Cookware, dishware and utensils were enough for 3-4 guests. Dish soap provided, but bring a sponge. Two dish towels were provided. Bath, kitchen, linens and bedding were all very clean. The decor was updated and stain-free. Closets, cabinetry, bath fixtures and some of the furniture were a bit dated, but as mentioned, if you are seeking value, this is the place for you. Some of the rooms on our floor were being remodeled at the time of our stay, so things are looking to become better and better. The Ewa seems to be very well-managed. Clean and comfortable, very functional for longer stays. The LOCATION was EXCELLENT. Cartwright Ln is on the quieter side of Waikiki, < 15 meters from Kapiolani Park. Just as close to everything, but just enough away to avoid the street crowds. There is covered parking available for an additional fee (daily). The Ewa is an ideal base for soaking up the aloha spirit of the islands. Aloha mai e.

ENJOYED MY STAY AT THE EWA LITE HOTEL. IT MET MY NEEDS OF A LOW COST HOTEL IN WAIKIKI. DIDNT HAVE A VIEW BUT IT WASNT MY PRIMARY REASON FOR STAYING THERE. LOCATION WAS THE MAIN REASON. MET MY NEEDS.

definitely recommended. need a place to stay overnight for reasonable price. this hotel is good. no issue.

Customer service okay. No closets and you pay for extra items and internet

My boyfriend and I stayed here for out first trip to Hawaii. The location was absolutely perfect, with just two blocks from Waikiki and the Honolulu Zoo right across the street. The individual who checked us in was very kind and helpful. The only complaint I had, was that within 2 days of being there, little ants were crawling around our kitchen. And our kitchen was not dirty. I complained to the staff and they told me they could have someone come by and kill the bugs, but that they didn't have any other rooms for me until the next day. I was slightly disappointed with that response, but after the worker came and sprayed, we didn't see the bugs again. Overall, the hotel is great for a cheaper hotel. However, I think next time we will pay for something a little nicer.

Just stayed for one night. Ok for a place to sleep if you're just passing through. We flew to Oahu for a vist to the PCC and flew back to Maui the next day so we just needed an overnight. Bed was ok, shower was ok. I wouldn't recommend for an extended stay. Hotel is very old .

It was good room, great location 100 m from Waikiki Beach. Big beds and kitchen, and a parking place in the building. Good place.

ewa Hotel is good enough to stay it is clean the staff nice. It has shuttle from the hite to AlaMoana mall every 30m and near to wakiki beach And Teddy's restaurent which is one of the best restaurant in Honolulu

thank you for your comments. Regarding for parking, it is based on "first comes, first serves" so, we cannot add to our rates. Swimming pool - we have a biggest nearby the hotel - the Pacific Ocean. Again, thank you for staying with Aston-Aqua Hospitality. See you soon. Mahalo
