This place is in perfect location but need some remodeling but for the $$ is okay .

the room smells like mildew!! no windows!!! the air conditioning was SUPER LOUD!! can't sleep... I have been in Hawaii, Gran Cayman islands, Jamaica, Cancun, Playa del Carmen, and Maui, and this hotel has been the WORSE!!!! DON'T STAY HERE!! Believe me it's not worth it & not cheap!!! you can stay at the SHORELINE for almost the same price & the hotel has been remodeled & nice!!!! the only good thing about this hotel is the location, THAT'S IT!!!!

Our room: Small box with an old mini fridge in the middle of the balcony rooms. No balcony, a window looking at the outside hallway. The curtain wouldn't keep the light out at night. Bed was hard. Lamp shades holes in them. Couldn't find the closet until we went to the bathroom.... found a closet in it! No fan in the bathroom musky clothes in our closet. Staff had to bring ice up to your room. Staff would microwave your food for you from their break-room. $22/night parking fee ridiculous, so we parked free overnight up the road on off street parking. Staff super friendly and probably felt bad for the room we got stuck in. Worst hotel out of 10 Waikiki "budget" hotels I've stayed in..... all other hotels I would rate GREAT for the price. Not here.

it was me and my friends first time at Hawaii, it was exciting! :) we got to our hotel and everything was good had no problem. The staff were nice and very helpfule i liked that. The hotelis right in front of the beach so that was awesome just had to cross the street and i was there, and plenty of abc stores. The hotel was nice , it didn't have a pool but that was ok because you could walk to any shop and restaurant.

I would say this hotel is best for those that want a place to crash only. It was clean enough and quiet despite being closes to the strip and its traffic. If you plan to be out most of the day and night and want a clean central place to sleep then this place is for you. If you want a fancy resort and the high price tag go elsewhere. Parking is $22 a night.

The hotel entrance was hard to find for taxi driver. The room rate is cheapest in Waikiki Beach, My flight leaving Island to mainland was in middle night, so checked in that hotel and spent half day in waikiki beach , took shower, had diner at one of best Japanese restaurant in KOA street nearby. So this hotel fully meets my expectation. There is only one staff in front desk. he was very nice and let us boogie board for free. Hotel lobby are decorated with Manchurian Qing furnitures and painting. It looks very oriental even in the room. It was a good rest area for us.

The room furniture was old and worn. The room was so small. They showed us the Aston resort down the street and put us up in a dump. Then charged an extra $25 per day to be on the beachside. Never again at any Aston Resorts or Hotels.

Staff was exemplary! Perfect location in the center of Waikiki. If you came to Hawaii to enjoy a fancy resort hotel room, this is probably not for you. It was a great place to stay within walking distance of most of the "action"/shopping & a solid home base. I would stay here again.

Well worth the money. Its close to the beach and its clean!

I will say one thing. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!! The hotel looks like the location of an old horror movie. We booked an "interior standard" which apparently means room with no window. It looked like a converted closet which smelled of mold and must as a bonus. After some ranting we got moved to a hotel with a view overlooking a wall. The staff did nothing to help us with our many bags, the bathroom had what looked like black mold growing all over the walls. I was pretty sure I was going to be abducted by bedbugs in the middle of the night. Scariest/skechiest.place.ever.

We stayed in Waikiki for my girlfriends birthday! She enjoyed every minute. The hotel location was perfect for all the activities we done in Waikiki!

Excellent location, but otherwise ordinary, but affordable

The staff at this hotel were great - past that it is a very old hotel with only one elevator to get people up and down ( actually the smallest elevator I have seen ). sometimes we would have to wait two times to get on it to go down. The location is great - but too many negatives to say we would go there again. There are no hidden amenities like most hotels - but all you get is ice and a towel for the beach. .Not to slam this hotel but it is what you pay for - whether it was through our travel agent or the hotel, they were gracious enough to let us out of our last 5 nights ( money back). It is always said if you are in Hawaii, you are not there for the room, but that doesn't mean you have to sacrifice your values!

This is a little dingy hotel right on Waikiki. The location is PERFECT but other than that it is an old outdated hotel in serious need of being remodeled. The room had a mildew smell to it and everything was so old and dingy I didn't sleep comfortable. Oh and not to mention we were on the 10th floor with a view of a WALL yes a wall! Not the street or another hotel or the beach but a wall! If you don't care about having a clean "fresh" room this is your place...it is right across the street from the beach and in the center of shopping. I give it 2 stars because of the location and the staff always greeted us with "Aloha" and they have courtesy beach towels (we never used them we brought our own).

When we arrived, the hotel was less than stellar. Great location, right on the beach ad close to the main shopping areas BUT the hotel itself is old and worn down. The queen room was tiny, there was no counter space in the bathroom and the floors were tile! The staff and room service was great, but honestly, we wouldn't stay here again.

We stayed at the Aston Waikiki Beachside from 3/14 -3/21. Our stay there was a Great Experience, while there we were able to talk with different staff members on different shifts. They were all Great with giving information on things to do in the area everyday and night. The hotel sits right in front of the beach which was nice when you walk out. Everything you need is in walking distance. Even though its not a Big Name Brand Hotel, For the price I will stay there again.

Fantastic time , great access to and view of the beach and the night life

The closet was in the bathroom which was inconvenient. Would have liked a small coffee pot and coffee in the room before setting out for the day. There were no windows in the room so had to go out the door to look out and determine the weather.

Average hotel with a great location. Nice staff, only one elevator.

This hotel was small, clean and in a fantastic location across the street from the beach. For a $100 a night this place was perfect.
