Staff was very helpful. Close to shops and good. Only 10 minute ride to port of Honolulu.

Staff helpful and near all... 5 minutes to beach and restaurants... rather spend money on souvenirs then a hotel room....

Staff was great made it worth it, hotels old but it's okay. very convenient for walking to shopping, food and the beach

The room rate should be a guide for your expectations. The hotel is much nicer when you walk inside off the street. The interior of Waikiki is very run down and this hotel is smack dab in the middle of it. Aside from a burrito left in the fridge from the last guest, the room was farley clean but outdated. The staff was very helpful when asked about where to go nearby for food and drinks. I would recommend spending $40 more and stay closer to the beach. Safer, cleaner, better views, less hassle with valet. The point is you get what you pay for.

We had a good time. I would go to this hotel again. It was at perfect location.

We spent a couple days in Waikiki before our island cruise--enjoyed being able to easily get around Waikiki

We booked this hotel as we were on the plane leaving LAX for Hawaii & was not disappointed! They even upgraded us to a penthouse suite when we arrived. Beautiful room and lovely HUGE bathtub. Will definitely stay again.

nice room, nice lobby, breakfast a bit pitiful, but fresh pineapple. good location

Well Located in downtown Honolulu and a block from Waikiki beach, this hotel has friendly helpful staff but the rooms are smallish and the balcony tiny. The wall mounted air conditioner above the bed is also noisy and can't be turned down. Breakfast is provided but consists of juice, spongy bread that can be toasted, appalling pastries and coffee. Despite the gripes, we enjoyed staying at this place and would do so again.

I originally got this hotel because of the fitness center that it supposedly offered but when I got there, I was told that there wasn't one available. Also, I saw on the email confirmation that I would need to schedule a pickup from the airport to be taken to the hotel by calling the "following number" but when I called, no one knew what to tell me except call the hotel. The hotel wasn't even helpful with transportation availability. I ended up paying for a cab from the airport since my flight landed at 1130pm! The manager, Dexter, thankfully understood and helped me out with the can fare but overall, the pillows were rough and them room was tiny. My view out of my window was construction and it's right next to a club so people are yelling until 3am. I DID NOT ENJOY THIS PLACE AT ALL.

It's close to Waikiki Beach without being on it - it's a great price - Valet parking is good, the breakfast is typical continental for a hotel. The rooms are great. A better deal in Honolulu you won't find.

The staff & hotel lobby made this unstellar hotel stay bearable. The daily complimentary breadfast featured fresh fruit & a variety of bakery. The lobby was open air and maintained. The koi pond was a bonus! My room, however, was in dire need of a complete makeover...peeling, dingy wallpaper, chipped cabinets, old dark & dingy carpeting and a jacuzzi that must have been the orginal product...I didn't even consider using it ! There was absolutely no view, from the balcony, as taller hotels surrounded it on all sides.

i enjoyed it. it was clean. the location was great. it is in prime downtown. no praking so we were hit with parking fees and it is valet so each time you need to come and go you pay a tip for someone to get your car or park it. i could do that myself for free but i have to pay because its forced valet service. the remotes for the Air conditioner and TV were temperamental but the staff responded quickly to fix the problem.

Carpet dirty upon arrival, requested cleaning as I would not feel comfortable walking on without shoes. Living room did not look clean and carpet not vacuumed daily. Cups & glasses not replaced with clean ones if any liquid remaining. Occasion coffee pot not cleaned. TV out of date; DVD player not work well & controlled by joy stick which did not work properly. Continental breakfast really lame. Would not stay there again. Was not worth the money

old dirty walls wall paper torn and stained floors to room and elevetor worn and old. If my wife were with me we would not have stayed here. The elevator broke 1 day. I would not recomend this to anyone.

On vacation in paradise so just wanted a clean comfortable place to sleep and this did not disappoint. Only 2 blocks from the beach which was great. Also close to great shopping and resturaunts. Only negatives were that it needs updating and the front desk staff were not overly helpful or friendly.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. The room was on the small side but adequate as we did not spend much time in it. Breakfast was small but adequate. The staff was outstanding, very helpful, always friendly. Valet service great.

The hotel is very comfortable. The staff is very helpful and frendly. Free continental breakfast is simple but adequate. Kona Coffee is great. The location is great, just 1/2 block from both main streets in Waikik in the middle of the block between then). An easy walk to beach, shopping, restaruants and take-out food. The NFL Pro Bowl block party started right at the end of this street. Great time.

I was there for vacation and the pro bowl and the location was perfect for the Pro bowl festivities! We were right in the heart of it and very close to bars, restaurants and a 5 min walk to the beach as well.

Great location, easy walk to activities and shops. Rooms dated with older stereo and tv. If traveling alone on budget would reccomend if for other reason would pass.
