Nice hotel and location. Loved the pool area. Free workout classes.

Fancy hotel, excellent proximity to beach. They have a free locker to store surf boards. Garage for parking rental vehicles. Wish they had room service for such a nice hotel. They do have a few restaurants. We were also upgraded to a better room for 10.00 extra per day.

Spent a week in Oahu celebrating my parents wedding anniversary. The Alohilani was wonderful!

Very clean hotel with great staff. The pool is the best that we have ever experienced and the location was great

Nice hotel, right on the beach.close to all restaurants, diamond head, shopping center. Bathroom was very small. Sink was outside the bathroom, with no door, which woke up everyone at night, when used. Bit noisy being located at a popular location. Pool was good, but always crowded.

Our experience at the Alohilani was very nice: it has been recently renovated, so there is still a fresh feeling about it (but I agree with previous reviews that the carpet is so odd that at first it looked like it was a construction zone!). The beds were particularly comfortable, and the linens nice, but I hate it when hotels put an uncovered down comforter between the sheets (ours had a bit of someone else's blood on the edge). In addition, when we arrived, the sliding door was so filthy on the inside (something was smeared all over it) that I called housekeeping, who came to clean it up quickly. However, my most significant complaint is that our room was advertised as an "Ocean View Room" rather than a "Partial Ocean View Room," and of course I paid more money for the ocean view. However, the room was actually only a partial ocean view, as the room directly looked at other resorts - you had to go to the right side of the room near the glass doors to see the ocean. When I called the front desk, I was told that a "full" ocean view was actually a "Premium Ocean View Room," which required a payment of an additional $90 per night. I felt that it was false advertising, and declined to pay the added cost. Nevertheless, the room was large and pleasant, and the hotel was in a perfect location for the beach and restaurants.

Wonderfully large room for Hawaii, with small sitting area and a balcony. The pool is lovely and the food they served poolside was actually really good!

Bathroom is the worse bathroom I ever paid for In a hotel. I am shocked how small and pathetic it is. I hated my stat because I had 2 kids and this was the worse hotel I ever visited and I only booked it because all the knew I wanted were booked out that week

Great hotel. Very clean. I usually never sit on the floor or walk around barefoot in hotel rooms but here I did. The only complaint was I was promised a pack-and-play or crib bumpers (if a crib were to be provided) and was told these would be available. But upon check-in this was not available so we had to co-sleep with our infant. Otherwise, great experience. Shout-out to Tomeika in concierge - super friendly and helpful! House keeping was great too!

Loved the pool, and the rooms are really clean. there are shops as well that sell everything you might need (shampoos, slippers, hats, etc.)

The hotel's website portrays a much nicer hotel and room arrangement than we experienced. The "Ocean View" room is actually a partial view which is significantly blocked by other buildings. The room was incredibly plain and much smaller than expected. The bathroom was clean but again, very small and not well done. The staff is very nice, but the hotel itself is disappointing.

Stayed 6 nights, hotel is recently new but already feeling a little tired. Do not think it will hold up very well. Bathroom was tiny and not really up to that of this star rating. Concierge staff were terrible, asked for simple information but left feeling like I’d had a 30 min phone call with a tv/internet sales person. While there, they closed many of the facilities including the pool area (for a private hotel party) gave guests 12 hours notice and still charged a resort fee!

We had a good experience to stay here pool is lovely very convenient to walk for all shopping mall and restaurants around the area Beach just across the road from Hotel also got a convenient store at the hotel , excellent

The hotel is newly renovated. The lobby is beautiful with a two story reef tank and lounge/dining area. Pool area is also modern and trendy with lots of comfortable seating options. The hotel is across the street from Waikiki Beach. The area is very clean and safe feeling and bustling with lots of shopping and dining options. One side of the hotel has beautiful views of Diamond Head and the ocean.

Alohilani hotel Is a home away from home. The room is clean and very cozy. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. The location is excellent; a few steps to Waikiki beach, shopping, restaurants.

Location still operating while under construction. I’m sure it’ll be nicer and more peaceful/quiet once complete. Theres a hotel resort fee $30/day that wasn’t mentioned when we were booking so we were a bit suprised once we got there. They give you a parking pass if you choose to park in their garage $30/day general and approx $45/day valet. The staff will tell you construction is from 8a-5p but workers will start at 6am and go as late as 7pm when we were there. Rooms were clean. Our WiFi didn’t work they had to give give us a “VIP Code” but only after we proved several failed attempts to their WiFi support team. Once on their WiFi it is decent the service will come on go while in the room. For those booking with an ocean view the hotel will only count that as a partial ocean view so if you can see a piece of the ocean the charge per day is more. We expected a full ocean view with the upgrade choice we made but it was more buildings and a piece of ocean. The walk to a small beach is very quick. Breakfast buffet is $35/person it’s cheaper to eat anywhere but in the hotel. My understanding is the price is discounted because of the construction so if you can deal with the noises it’s a decent place to stay that’s close to the beach and many shops.

This is a nice hotel that is very close to the beach (but not on the beach). Also, they were going thru a renovation which was a slight discomfort. Otherwise, this hotel is well worth the stay.

We had a great stay. Close to everything. Hotel will be beautiful when fully renovated. Staff very accommodating.
