Fabulous ownership. Beautifully designed room and bathroom. Lots of pride by owners in renovating this hotel. High quality windows, great shower and attention to details. Great bed and bedding. Furniture is very nice. Location fabulous. Fair pricing. Friendly front desk people. Pride of ownership shows. I agree with all the other very positive reviews and I would also say these owners really care about their guests and they take pride in their hotel. It is very very clean and well taken care of. I stay in hotels all over the world and this hotel for the price they charged is excellent. Hope you too will enjoy your stay there.

Charming hotel in the center of Nuremberg. The rooms are nicely appointed, staff are amazingly kind, and the breakfast is great. This hotel is wonderful.

The hotel us is located in Old Town, and with the Christmas Market in full swing, we were exacrly where we wanted to be to experience Nurnberg. We would higjly recommend this hotel to all.

The location is perfect to explore most of Nuernberg. Parking is a slight hassle, but one can drive into the pedestrian zone to unload and the parking structure isn't but 5 minutes of a walk away. Beware of wrong turns. You can only access the hotel lobby via a small elevator in the back of the entrance to get in, but there is a staircase to get out. The rooms are less than fancy and seem dated like the whole building. It has a cool and artsy flair to it though with interesting architectural angles and the way the lobby and breakfast room are set up. We didn't use the breakfast as it seemed pricey, but if you prefer convenience it looked delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location provides a lot of nice restaurants as well as easy snack access nearby.

I stayed at Hotel garni Probst for the Nurnberg Christmas market. The hotel is very close to the central station and easy to find. For the Christmas market, you just walk along the city area so I felt very safe even late at night. Staffs very are helpful and friendly! Breakfast was also plenty and tasty. Room was clean and cosy with very simple amenities, so don't forget to bring your shampoos and stuff. Free wi-fi was a bit slow at night (probably more people are using it at the same time). Overall this hotel is excellent for the price, and I will definitely stay here again if I visit Nurnberg.

Dear Guest, what else can you say besides: thank you very much :) It is actually the case that an owner-managed private hotel is managed differently than the managed brand hotels, where "only" one hotel director / CEO is used;) The room furnishings, the furniture, the color scheme and the general style are personally selected by the owner: Of course, we would like to achieve the same / similar level of equipment in every room - nevertheless we try to ensure that each room is characterized by its own little charm (on the contrary, too what is taught in classical marketing, we do not want to strive for a "uniform" character). As of Corona (so that the lockdown time was not entirely in vain), we began to renovate or modernize room by room in 2020. To be fair, it has to be said that not all rooms are up to date. But I think we will be completely through with the guest rooms in 2022 😊 Then the creation of a small group / conference room is on the agenda. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you again (also + especially on behalf of my wife) for your warm and detailed review and I would be very happy if you would visit our hotel on your next visit to Nuremberg. Best regards from Nueremberg, Your PrivatHotel Probst
