Wonderful! We booked based on reviews and our 3 days there were very relaxing. 2BR suite was spacious and comfortable, staff was very friendly, buffet was excellent. We’ll be back!

Looks good from afar…the staff was terribly rude and lots of maintenance issues…I’d recommend looking elsewhere to vacation…also, Orbitz screwed up our reservation which didn’t help…
The check in and check out process was the quickest I have ever experienced. Lovely grounds, our room had a great view of the beach, wish we had more time there.
No bar onsite after 5:30 pm, poor AC, we were not given most of the amenities that were supposed to have come with our room, even when I called and asked about them I was just told I would get them later- which I never did. The shared balconies with no kind of divider or blocker made our balcony unuseable and there was a huge mosquitoes problem while we were there (not that the resort could really help that part). I really do believe that all the rave reviews from this place were written by owners hoping to rent out their units.

Do not stay here! A few months ago, we went down to Mexico for our wedding. Our wedding venue recommended this hotel. We had about 50 guests coming down with us. The hotels food and amenities were great, but we would not stay here again. I was extremely disappointed with this hotel and for my guest since I recommended them to stay with us. We had a TON OF OUR THINGS STOLEN! Throughout our stay I had many guests complaining to me and security that their belongings were stolen in the pool area. The first day, one of my guests had his sandals, shirt and sunglasses stolen. 3 days later they “found them” but the sandals were still missing, mind you all belongings were together, very strange. I had 3 other guests including myself that had sandals stolen! My aunt had her sunglasses stolen but when my mother started yelling at hotel they apparently “found them”. Lastly, I had another guest that had her iPhone STOLEN! We had asked for security camera for the pool area and hotel did not want to show us we called police and nothing. Hotel was trying to protect their employees. We tried using “find my iPhone” but iPhone was miles down the road inside the ocean which was very strange. I have never experience this before. Our group were basically the only ones at this hotel, since tourism was down due to COVID. Also, service was extremely slow, I had guest complain to staff and managers. This went on for all 5 days we were down there. Breakfast was absolutely the slowest part of the day.
Loved being able to use the sister resort. The food at the sister restaurants was much better than at Estancia. Loved the pool and pool bar at Estancia. All staff was very friendly and amazing!!!!
Beautiful timeshare resort that we booked as non timeshare owners. The property is next door to it's sister time share property and guests can use both pools and restaurants if your staying at Villa La Estancia, it does not work that way if you stay next door at Villa Palmar Flamingos. When we made our reservation we bought into the all inclusive package and when you have four people eating breakfast at $110.00 US dollars everyday for seven days it's well worth it, not to mention poolside service and other meals. We have stayed at the Villa del Palmar many times in the past and we noticed to poolside service there was by far better than the poolside service at the Villa La Estancia. So we stayed at the Villa Estancia and played at the Villa del Palmar Beach Resort & Spa next door. We will book into the Villa La Estancia again as the property is newer, less noise from shows and restaurants, and the daily activities which the Villa del Palmar Flamingos hosts. The two properties are also at the end of hotel row so there is a nice green belt to make you feel like you are in a mini tropical jungle. We compared the two properties for their room feature and noticed that the Villa La Estancia does NOT have kitchenettes in there junior suites, whereas the Villa del Palmar junior suites DO have kitchenettes, the shared balconies of the junior suites and the one bedrooms suites are divided by a tall cement wall at the Villa del Palmar Flamingoes, whereas it's common space La Estancia
I really like the property! Ramon around the pool was very nice and always came to check if I had what I needed and our housekeeper Karen was also wonderful. There were a couple of room changes necessary before we could settle in but that was truly the only downside. Mikeala did her best to make it right thereafter. Thanks for a nice stay!
Property was clean and most staff was really nice and helpful. The food was not that good, and the sales pitch was extremely aggressive and irritating.
We had good service and the hotel is beautiful. Will return for longer time!
Most guests were renting from owners of time share including us. Offered perks if take sales tour. Fantastic location on beach & easy walk to Bucerias. Food on site very good. Access to sister resort next door. Great resort.
Stayed in the smallest lowest cost room. It had 2 queen beds and a standard hotel room layout. Balcony was unfortunatly a shared one, with your neighbors able to walk up to your bedroom. Beds were very comfy. Next room upgrade wasover $100. Additional per night but from what we saw might have been worth it if you want a living room and a kitchen All inclusive was really the way to go! Food was absolutely amazing. As good as Ive seen anywhere. Staff were extremely friendly and service was abundant everywhere!
Hotel and Orbitz represented the room as Luxury Guite suite with two bedrooms. It was actually two separate guest rooms with separate card key entrances that are both accessed by a common door to an exterior entrance. The common door had a card key that no longer functioned, the deadbolt when thrown just unlocked from the outside, so the second bedroom which was intended for the two children one o which was nine years old was not used from the first day we were there. a separate guestroom in Mexico, that opens to the outside? I don't think so. I don't think any reasonable parent would let their child stay in a separate room in another country either! The hotel and Orbitz had this explained to them at length and they have done nothing to alleviate the issue. This is a ridiculous situation the sliding glass door in the suite didn't lock either. I will never stay at this Hotel or use Orbitz again. The people were pleasant, but apparently only paid lip service to my issue i raised on the first and every day I was there. The Hotel was really with exception to having a beach nothing special and was not near any place i wanted to go. Stay in Puerto Vallarta if you go. Good job Orbitz
