Food so bad service so bad plastic drinking cups 😝

I liked the entertainment, the options of foods.

We don’t like the rooms

The food was delicious. The room was mediocre and the sheets were dirty. The pools were very dirty because there were so many people in them each day and not enough time to clean.

It was quite possibly the worst resort we’ve ever been to. We stayed for 14 hours and gave up the money we paid to stay there and paid to go to the hard rock. It was that bad.

Read the reviews and listen to what the reviews are stating because it’s true! The resort is very outdated, small (everything is crammed together, and not much to do) beds are hard and terrible, the service from reception, to restaurants, to the bar is horrible. Staff is rude, unfriendly, and not attentive at all. This is a family oriented resort. Kids running around, parents no where to be found/staff doesn’t care. (If that’s your vibe cool… if not stay away from this resort and spend the extra money to stay else where), they have one swim up bar which is small to begin with but the resort also allowed children to be in the swim up bar area which I’ve never ever seen at resort before. It also took longer to get drinks because you have underage children getting chunky monkeys and virgin mojitos! Also don’t leave your tables unattended in any of the restaurants. It’s a possibility you’ll have some disobeying children digging/playing through your food when you look away. Single, solo travelers and party people STAY away from this resort! You’ll be highly disappointed!

The staff was very friendly and helpful

While the over all stay was okay, there were a few frustrating parts to my stay. When I did my search for stays at PVR, I entered 2 adults and a child. When I arrive my booking only was for 1 adult so I was charged a lot more. No sure if this was an error on orbitz or hotel. When we arrived at the hotel checking was long and disorganized, the person at the front desk kept on having to ask questions to someone else during a busy time. Also, when we arrived at our room the all inclusive minibar in the room was empty and we had to ask for a restock multiple times. Based on their signs they are supposed to refill it every 2 days but they didn’t again we had to call multiple times and even walk to front desk to get it restock and even then only a few things were restocked. Food at the different restaurants was okay. All restaurants run in a buffet basis so some food just tasted old and not the best quality. It was also disappointing that most options were american food, I guess I was expecting a little more mexican traditional food. The overall options were very limited. The room were clean and it was noticeable the staff made an effort every day to keep rooms and all facilities clean. Lastly, hotel did have a lot of restrictions like you limited to 1 towel per person a day and you have to keep track of your towel. Which given it is the beach a little hard to do. Pool closed early and even though they do have 1 show every night for guests there wasn’t much else to do after 8.

From the moment we arrived, the staff had a bad attitude. Our room although it had a nice view, was Dirty (fan was caked in dirt) and our A/C unit did not work. We called to get the problem fixed and the staff came in to "fix" the issue all they did was turn on the Dusty fan, Causing dust to fly around everywhere, they didn't fix the A/C (98 degree weather) after 4 calls to the front desk and me calling Orbitz they finally gave us a new room at 11PM at night. our second room was next to the service room, so we had to hear the cleaning carts all day and night. The food at the restaurants was no good, it was as if it was all cooked the night before and served at the buffet. except for the custom omelets. We got sick to our stomachs. The Information packets in the rooms are not up to date at all. (the hours of restaurants, and towel service are incorrect). Over all it was not a good experience for us. We will not be returning!

I did not like the unorganized staff, the inconsistency on rules and the food not so good and drinks made from watered down bottle of booze. I even had a fall in the shower that had not been taken seriously. I will not recommend the RIU to anyone. Did not like that the adult only pool also allowed screaming children.

We like everything,,

There was a cockroach in our room, the elevators don't work properly, my cousin got hurt in the shower, no mats, very slippery. Outdated rooms, food was average, only 1 towel per guess a day. not worth all the money I paid. I will not be staying there again.

Friendly staff. We had a great time!

We had a very good time will came back in the future thanks guys
