The person at the reception area was great and friendly, despite the fact that I arrived way late in the evening to check-in. I had about a few hours of sleep and woke up to black ants feasting on the pastries I had left on the counter, which I was looking forward to having for breakfast, and black ants in the bathroom. It was pretty bad. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
Close to airport with available TAXI service for 70 kuna.

We arrived at the Hotel Stella late at night and were very pleased with the hotel itself and the staff. Everything appears to be new and the front desk arranged a very early cab for us to get to our flight.
Hotel is small but all staff are friendly and nice location very close airport and have conveniently bus go to city old town, only inconvenient is don’t have any restaurant and money exchange
We can't say enough about how friendly & helpful the gentleman who checked us in & out was. He definitely went above & beyond trying to help us with flight check-in. In addition, he was more than willing to help us use up the last of our kunas & euros. Unfortunately the hotel could not provide shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. The taxi was quite pricey. Shuttle from hotel to airport was excellent. The room & bed were very comfortable.
Zagreb has a new airport, some distance from the old one. That meant a $30 taxi ride to get there, but there was a convenient shuttle that the hotel provided the next morning for $8 ($5 per person fro two people).
We had an early morning flight and wanted to spend our last night close to the airport. There is no restaurant at this property, but they order from a local restaurant which is delivered to the hotel dining room. We had the pizza which was very good.

Great breakfast this morning! This is a new, clean hotel a bit far from town and restaurants, but close to the airport. The staff spoke good English and were very helpful.
Friendly staff, comfy rooms, our Stay was just grand and since we needed to get to the AirPort early, very convenient position. Highway recommended.
