Staff check in....average Room....sqeeky bed/mattress that needs update. Bathroom door sqeeks too. The heater smells so we had to open the window for at least 30-60 minutes. Overall, it needs an update. I did like that they have a microwave & refrigerator in the room. Pool area....needs a little update too, better lighting would be nice. It was very dim. I did love that they have 3 water area 1. Kiddie pool 2. Hot tub 3. Pool (a little too cold for me) Breakfast options were nice. Waffle didn't taste so great but you got other options. With some updates I think it would be great. Otherwise, it was just ok for our family of 4.

Overall enjoyed the stay. Nice amenities. My only complaint is that the pool was unheated, however they had a nice hot tub.

Stay in this hotel every time I go to Portage. Very clean and staff is very helpful. Great location, close to town and beach.

Friendly staff, conveniently located near the interstate, tons of gas stations, and necessities such as Starbucks and McDonald's nearby, this hotel was perfect for our Weekend Wedding Festivities. I would highly recommend it if I ever go back to Portage, Indiana.

This hotel is nice, the rooms are large and well appointed however given the location the daily rate is ridiculous... spending over $100 for a hotel in the middle of nowhere you would expect the staff to at least be pleasant but they were so rude!

Dirty hot tub, no towels. In room, TV and coffee maker not working.

My husband and I needed a place to stay outside Chicago for one night. This hotel was perfect fit, right offthe highway. The bed was more comfortable than ours at home!

Nice hotel - only complaint is its location near a chemical/gas processing plant of some sort. Outdoors, the air reeks of natural gas and chemicals, but things were great inside.

Big clean room. Very friendly staf. Excellent bad.

great place to stay only 45 minutes from nd. rooms were very clean and staff was great. great pool for kids

WE GOT A GREAT RATE AT THIS HOTEL AND IT WAS NEAR THE INDIANA DUNES, SO I HAVE NO ROOM TO COMPLAIN. THE ROOM ITSELF WAS NICE ENOUGH, CLEAN AND COMFY. THE BEDS HAD A TEMPURPEDIC TYPE MATTRESS. NOT SURE I LIKED IT, REALLY HARD. DID NOT EAT AT THE BREAKFAST, BUT LOOKED LIKE PEOPLE WERE ENJOYING IT. THE POOL AREA IS VERY NICE, AND HAS A NICE KIDDIE AREA A HOT TUB IN THE MIDDLE AND A POOL ON THE OTHER END. WITH FAMILIES THIS IS PERFECT, BUT LOUD WITH KIDS. THE HOT TUB WAS NICE AND HOT AND WORKED WELL. OVERALL I ENJOYED THIS HOTEL AND WOULD STAY AGAIN IF EVER IN THE AREA.

The hotel was cery nice and clean. We did not spend a great deal of time at the hotel but what time we did we enjoyed. The beds were very firm and the room was nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I was really surprised by the size of the room for the money spent. It was clean and comfortable. The bed was awesome!

Great place to stay, very clean. I didn't care for the mattress though - it was firm and form fitting - almost like sleeping in sand. I did get used to it and slept good. I prefer the pillowtop mattresses.

Very nice hotel. Its good I check my bills, because they tried to bill me twice.

Great Place to stay. Great Continental breakfast they have here. Staff was very professional. Would stay there any time

We stayed here on a long weekend getaway to enjoy the Indiana Dunes, and it was wonderful. The hotel was right off the interstate, with a great steakhouse (where we ate twice)and Starbucks right next door; best of all, the Lake was less than 10 min. away. The room was very clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The breakfast was also a pleasant surprise, with hot sausage and biscuits and gravy available. The only thing I didn't care for was the overpowering smell of chlorine in the pool area. Other than that, it was a great deal for the money a really nice place to have a relaxing weekend.

We found the room neat and clean but the room was across from the pool dehumidifier, which was noisy and ran all night. We had traveled far that day and were very tired. We were just happy to have a place to sleep. We did not complain about the noise, we only stayed one night. Next time we will book or ask for a room in a different area of the hotel.

We asked for a quiet room - it was quiet. The beds were very very comfortable!!! The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. We didn't go near the pool or fitness center. I would recomend this to anyone.
