The hotel is modern and nice. Just a couple things were bad. One bed was dirty, looked like there was lipstick and some dark spots. The room phone didn’t work so we called the front desk with our phone. The clock was set to the wrong time. It was your standard alarm clock so it took some time to get it corrected. You would expect the maid to correct it when cleaning the room. The biggest problem is they tried to ‘refresh’ the pool area by coating the floor tile with a rubber asphalt type material. It’s not durable and was coming apart and was in the pool, in your saddles. It’s was unfortunate. The pool was warm and the kids still loved it.

The staff was all about helping others at check in instead of completing my check in I had to ask for my keys. Didn't keep up with towels in pool area and allowed too many people in at a time. Why give wristbands if no one checks

Clean room. Breakfast was not good and the area was filthy.

Could use more chairs in the room for when you go visiting people in other rooms

Staff helpful and corteous. One night stay; no complaints.

Definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone with kids. They will enjoy the splash pool, parents will love the hot tub. The game room was nice too, although the games are a little dated for today generation. Definitely will be going back again to visit the Indiana Dunes longer!

staff was friendly and the breakfast selection was good

Decided to take the kids (ages 10 and 13) for a weekend getaway not too far from home (less than hour) to help burn off some cabin fever. This hotel was perfect for just that. Our room was the perfect size to enjoy our time as family (when not in the pool and hot tub) and the room rate fit into our budget.

Great hotel for the money and close to many area attractions during the summer and winter.

This was a very good hotel, especially for the price we paid. Rooms were comfortable and the morning breakfast was good and restocked often. I would definitely recommend this hotel for business or leisure stays.

We went for the great kid pool and it did not dissappoint our 3 and 1 year old. Great price for everything you get and very clean.

Midway between Chicago & South Bend. Perfect for my needs. This hotel was recently remodeled & very nice. I can't think of a single criticism.

I wish every hotel was this nice. Immaculately clean, very nice updated décor, very nice bedding.

PROS: This hotel is located very close to area attractions including the sand dunes, outlet mall and train station. There are a bunch of restaurants and other stores about 10 minutes away - which was very convenient for getting groceries and fast food. There are 2 gas stations, a liquor store and a Denny's within walking distance. The staff was nice. CONS: There wasn't a fan in the bathroom so the bathroom got really hot and muggy after showering. The breakfast left a little to be desired, the eggs were rubbery.

Perfect! Comfortable, affordable & cozy! I would stay again!

My kids and I had a great time in the heated indoor pool area followed by a relaxing night in our room

loved the location being so close to the interstate. it was also very clean which was great. probably because it is such a new hotel. great space at the breakfast area which most hotels like this feel cramped but they had lots of space to spread out. pool was awesome too for my kids because of the fun water fountains. will definitely stay there again!

The hotel was very clean, modern but comfortable. The staff was very accommodating and eager to assist and please when needed. Very nice bathroom with sleek fixtures. The breakfast provided both hot and cold selections. It was very close to the beach.

The hotel was clean and very nice. I picked this hotel because it looked very new and had a nice pool for kids. We stayed for 4 days. I have 2 kids ages 8 and 1. We were in town from WI and forgot to bring a bed for the baby. The beds are very high off the floor so we had to buy a bed to use for the baby because the hotel did not have a crib or playpen (we travel a lot and most hotels have beds for babies) For the most part our stay was very nice. There were a lot of kids staying at the hotel and pool was a fun zone (very loud) so it would not be a good place for relaxing if thats what your looking for. Also, a little boy had a large accident in the pool on our second night and our family did not use the pool for the rest of our stay. The hotel has a nice breakfast room and good breakfast. The last night of our stay there was a thunderstorm and the power went out. The alarm clock did not go off in the morning so we were late leaving the hotel, but they do offer a wake up service that I wish we had used! For the price we paid I think it was a good value and I will go back again. The location is good and there are many dining options close to the hotel.

I totally disappointed with this hotel. I booked it based on the rating but I was shocked. The room was very dirty, the staff were very rude. In fact in our room, in the microwave, we uncovered severely molded food in the microwave. The smell was so repugnant, we had to vacate the room for hours. I reported the incident to the hotel management and they were very rude. We were there for a two days and the hotel room was never cleaned properly. We were terribly disappointed with this hotel. I will think twice before I book another Best Western.
