Holiday Inn Newcastle - Gosforth Park

Great location

The Holiday Inn Newcastle was a great location for a person who is taking several day trips while in England. A large well lit free parking lot is on site. This is often hard to find in a lot of European communities. It has quick access to several main arteries in the Newcastle area. By using their breakfast buffet, you can be on the road quickly first thing in the morning. They are also located right next to a gas station for that last fillup before heading to the Newcastle Airport. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. And did I mention that nicely heated tile floor in the bathroom? One of the drawbacks included computers in their business center which wouldn't connect with the internet so I couldn't confirm my flights on line.

Great location and facility.

N/A, I am a busy person and don't have the time to write a lengthy note.

Ald White Craig Farm

Comfortable House on Working Farm

Our family of five had an excellent night’s stay in the House at the Ald White Farm which is located in a beautiful countryside setting. It was wonderful to have not only adequate sleeping arrangements, but also a roomy great room with kitchen and living room! And in the morning we got to visit the newborn triplet lambs with their mother ewe in the barn! This was a perfect place for us to visit Hadrian’s wall as it is minutes from both Housesteads and Vindalanda and the Roman Army Museum (where we hiked up to the wall for wonderful views.)
