The hotel is for longer stay, but it is quite far from all attractions. The biggest problem with the hotel was noise. The windows were very thin so any car passing on the nearby street could be heard, and that noise woke me up on both days I stayed there. The fridge was so noisy, I had to unplug it before I could sleep. Staff were nice.

Nice staff, clean and comfy rooms. I did forget my phone charger and called only 5 hours later. It was gone and I believe the cleaning lady may not have turned it in.

We had a great stay and enjoyed the ease of access to major roadways in the DC area!

Very comfortable for our weekend visit to Washington

The hotel is as in a wonderful location for my trip to see my new granddaughter. Everything was great except for interior noise. Footsteps and other guest movement was too easy to hear. That said: The room was clean and the coffee was available 24 hours and the desk staff was friendly and there were warm cookies in the lobby every evening, so overall a great place to stay. I would highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area and will probably stay there whenever I visit that branch of the family!

Very clean...friendly staff...great value for the D.C area

Pros: clean , spacious, updated, friendly staff, breakfast. Con: weird location. Small workout room,

It was excellent for a family with children: on site laundro-mat, wading pool, perfect breakfast supplies for kids. The bathroom (does toilet need a new O ring) smelled dangerous, almost nauseous at times. they sent in a lady with a room deoderant -- she did replace the sink gasket when the faucet leaked so much there was water all over the sink top, lower shelf, and floor. I will stay there again, but not in that room - 104. People were eager to please! Thanx!

A little tricky to find, but then most places are that way in the D.C. area. Great location, less than five minutes from Metro station and IH-66. Comfy, clean room and very helpful staff.

People were helpful and friendly. Room was clean and spacious - nice mini kitchen with stove and burners, small refrigerator and dishwasher. Only a small Halal grocery store nearby. People next door talked too loud - thin walls. Pretty convenient but not walking distance to West Falls Church Metro. Not easy to find - have good directions - ah, Virginia! Great place for the price and location.

My wife and I visited this hotel during our Honeymoon in DC and we really enjoyed the location!! It's about 10-20 minutes into DC which isn't bad and provides a nice quiet place to stay away from the craziness during busy hours. The hotel itself is very well kept and the staff was very helpful/friendly. Would definitely stay there again!

Was only in town for a couple of days visiting friends and really did not use the in-room kitchen. Good stay at a nice place. I would do it again with no hesitation.

The renovations are complete and this hotel is an excellent value for anyone looking to visit the nation's capital. Everything you will need is within close proximity. The well stocked breakfast bar now offers limited seating.

The staff was great We chose this hotel for the kitchenette and was pleased with it. It was a bit further from downtown dc than we had anticipated, but that was no fault of the hotel.

The room was very clean and the location was perfect. The front desk and housekeeping staff were excellent!!

We stayed in this hotel during a trip to DC to see all the sights. It was a little out of town, but at only $100 a night much cheaper than anything closer and it has a kitchen so that we could cook our own suppers and not have to spend money on eating out. Getting to downtown was not that bad. The West Falls church Metro park and ride is only 10 min away and costs $4.50 to park at for the day. Then the metro ride was about 20 min. I do suggest that you park at the univeristy lot across the street because they take cash and you do not have to have a smartrip card. The room was recently refurnished and very clean. The staff was also very nice. The only compaint I have is that someone in a room above us did exercises or something at 4:30am every morning can caused something in the room to rattle very loudly. I never figured out what it was - just put in earplugs and went back to sleep.

I was very impressed with our stay at TownePlace Sweets. There was a full kitchen including a stove, oven, large refrigerator, as well as pots and pans for cooking. The hotel was still under renovation so all of these were brand new in our room. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly. The hotel was close to two DC metro stations and several restaurants and shopping, though not a lot was in walking range. Only one major complaint; there was a 32" tv in our room, but apparently only one DVD player for the whole hotel and that was missing all the wires and the remote control. All told I got a great deal for a great room. I was very pleased.

Good hotel but location is not good, shuttle service to nearest metro station

very helpful staff.comfortable room. Full kitchen, well equipt. Close to DC metro stations in Falls Church. Bed very comfy. Fre wireless.

I sleepily checked out at 3:30 AM for a work project. Later that day I noticed that they billed my card the full price, even though it was a paid reservation. I find this unacceptable. Also, don't pay more than $99 for this place. It's a good deal at that price. Anything more is too much.
